Looks like a serious piece of kit, well may she wear Wes. And congrats to Ryan and the HFW crew for setting up an event where likeminded youtubers can come together and meet their fans.
Thank you BTP. I missed your live stream i was working but, i did watch it. OLF interview had some good inforlation on his new loader i hope it serves him well.
Thanks, BTP. Great interview & informative info about the loader. I like Wes's down to earth way of farming. He does what he needs to do on his farming & his farm repairs & etc.
Like the design of loader, can’t wait to see in action. We have Trima 4.0+ loader with automatic hitch it save getting in n out of tractor. I hate how pull on handles on some loaders and the handle snap off.
RJ 1999 No,Deere does the very same thing,I've already had EXPERIANCED this, the ONLY difference is the owner(s)of Deere and company didn't come out to shake my hand, the owner of the Deere dealership has though.
The bales are about 4 feet wide, so their center of gravity is about 2 feet beyond the bale spear frame. The bale spear frame is probably about 4 feet past the center of the front axle, so 3 of Wes's bales, is around 4500 lb. placed 6 feet (72 inches) forward of the front axle. jd 8120 has a 117 inch wheelbase. 72/117 = about 62%. 62% of 4500 lb. is 2790 lb. of reduced weight on the rear axle and tires. The front axles have 4500 lb. plus 2790 lb = 7,290 lb of weight added to them. Plus some of the weight of the loader and bale spear.
It looks like westendorf has come a long way with their loaders. My employer put one on a case in mx u 110 a few years back and it looked like it was a design from 30 years ago, did not fit the tractor at all.
This Westendorf has the Remote Control Coupler (quick attachment change) feature, He will be able to change from the bale spear over to the bucket before dismounting the loader from the tractor. When away from the home farm, it is unlikely he would be dismounting the loader. You could probably leave the spear on, if you were on firm gravel or pavement, where the spears would not sink in. Look for Wes to show you some of the unusual features of the bale spear.
Very nice interview with Wess.
It was good to meet you, BTP. Thanks for all the videos!

It is an impressive loader.

It will be neat to see it in action.
Excellent interview Wes and have fun with your new loader. If only other equipment mfg's would be the same way about their machinery.
4 gauge yeah like John Deere
RJ 1999 No,Deere does the very same thing,I've already had EXPERIANCED this, the ONLY difference is the owner(s)of Deere and company didn't come out to shake my hand, the owner of the Deere dealership has though.
4 gauge more of your lies
RJ 1999 Keep on JUDGING people and you'll be the FIRST ONE to burn in HELL FIRST.(MATTHEW 7:1-5)
Good ol Wes
Wes is going to need to add weights to the rear of that 8120, or Fluid fill his rear tires.

Realized after posting this that was not Tim's tractor .
I like the looks of it!! Looks like no self leveling?
That is a good question. Hopefully OLF covers that when he sets it up.
bigtractorpower he said he would buy the valve if he thinks he needs the self-leveling in one of his videos
KyFarmerman I agree with that I have a 6400 running a 640 loader witch mechanical self levelling and it's great wish the skid steer had it
The Farming Life get off here putz
Elm would have cried and whined and tried to get it for free
Nice video bro
Go Wes
But what is Tim gonna use on the stack wagon ?
Boy with lotta toys 4960

he probably bought the wrong loader.
Wes, I just did a product review myself. Check it out .👍
first
Call me stupid but you won't have the bucket on will you when you take it off
The bucket and other items are left on most loaders when they are switched off.

Sorry BTP but I still cannot stand listening to OLF;
You be alright. Go listen to Bedtime for Bonzo Obongo! You're probably more into him!
I like wes. I don't agree with everything he says. But he's genuine and good or bad he's always busy and entertaining.
