Yeah that's a handy little tractor around our farm my grandpa got it in the 80s very reliable tractor she probably got 8000 plus hours I can't say exactly the tach quit at 3650
Licking the loafer down is easier than my Deere I have a 245 Deere loader easy to hook up if your on concrete or asphalt has 2 big pins that lock the loader in so you have to get them just right
Hey, sorry another question. This is my first season of bringing the tractor out of Winter storage. I got the oil drained, and refilled, changed the filter with no issues...but I see the transmission fluid is very low. I bought the recommended Hy Tran direct from my Case/IH dealer, however I'm not sure where the fill is. Can you point me in that direction? Also...I did buy 2 fuel filters, the ones on there were installed new last year during the overhaul. Should I replace these or let them go awhile longer. Any tips on replacing them? The original manual isn't very helpful as to how to do it. Thanks! Joshua
Joshua Brock Add hydraulic fluid behind seat remove large plug and pour it in. Check hydraulic fluid with engine off or it’s gona show way low. If you’ve got clean fuel those filters will last a while just depends on how many hours it run. Just screw them on and open the valve at the bottom of the filter and let them run close valves.
I've been following Wes for a couple of years. He's the real deal and really a good guy despite the language at times. Not saying I'm above letting loose a few words now and then.

Grandads neighbor had a 684 High Utility with a loader just like that. Always liked that little tractor.

I used to work for a guy with a 584 and a 2250 loader, I took it off and put it on hundreds of times.
That went on real smooth. I have a 2255 loader but it doesn't go on that well. Thanks

Yes I separate the lines one set lifts and lowers the loader the other set controls the bucket you can in the video how the hoses are separate

There was a lawsuit about that. I think IH beat them to the design, but westendorf won.
