with pipes you can combine the entire input of 3 layers of fluid to 1 pipe and interconnect all pipes feeding your crystalizers, so you only have one input coming from outside and everything else is connected with everything, you dont have to separate e.g. fluid layer 1 = 12 crystalizer, fluid layer 2 = 12 crystalizers, fluid layer 3 = 12 crystalizers, just do fluid layer 1+2+3 = 36 crystalizers
You can't do this. At max upgrade (this case) pipe throughput is, 7200 L/m. A single Crystal Generator of the same level require 600 L/m. That's 12 generators per pipe (per 4 launchers). This trick doesn't work even with painters since you need 16 painters per layer and that's exactly 1 pipe of paint per layer.
