You will not regret going there! Thanks for subscribing too! :-))) I also want to say that you're doing a fantastic job with your channel. Keep going! My advice would be to really double-down on the storytelling element (like that one where you redo the old painting) so that you can create an emotional connection with the viewers. It's a fantastic video! And I want that girl's apartment with a view to the northern lights. haha. :-)

@@GringoNation Again, thanks for your excellent video, and your audio is good (most videos sound terrible). I hope to move to Tbilisi in the future, but still waiting to see just how draconian the countries of Georgia and the Philippines become (I've been in the Philippines since retiring in 2012). As Andrew Henderson of NOMAD CAPITALIST says, "Go where you are treated best" (If you can get there!). I have researched starting a business in Georgia and most of the details seem very favourable, but I have read there has been a recent shift in government in Georgia, and the new people are not nearly as "Pro-America" as the older leaders, what that will result in is still up in the air. It used to be that after 6 years in-country you could receive permanent-residence status, now it takes 10 years. But still FAR more "Foreigner-Friendly" than the Philippines, where a foreigner can't own a business. The BIG issue for me is whether or not Georgia will be bullied into mandating forced-Covid-19 vaccine injection. I think that will be the real issue, not only for me but for millions because the world is slowly waking-up and many International lawsuits are being drawn-up at this time. You can't fool ALL the people ALL the time!

So cool! What will you be doing for work? Thanks for watching the video and leaving a nice comment. I would honestly suggest Tbilisi. There is more going on than in Batumi. Batumi is nice over the summer but you can just spend a few months there when summer comes. Even if you're not a big city person, you can do pretty easy day trips from Tbilisi every weekend. I have a whole playlist on those, if you want to take a look! Thanks again! :-)

Hi Bill! I am indeed from Colorado. I grew up in Boulder County. I love the San Juan Mountains, although I've never been to Mt Sneffles. That whole area is gorgeous though. I love the Sand Dunes. It's really hard to compare the Rocky Mountains with mountains in Georgia. Both are stunning but have different feelings. Colorado feels more forest, with strong pine smells. It's a different smell in the mountains here. Unfortunately I haven't been yet up to Mestia or Racha in Georgia, which I heard are amazing. You should definitely check out Georgia though. Lots to offer in such a small country.

@@NickiPostsTravelStuff Hello, thank you very much for your impressions of the mountains of Georgia as contrasted to the Rocky Mountains in the USA. My main and driving reason for doing the research which I have already done (but IF and WHEN international flights from the Philippines to Georgia are again allowed, I'll have to verify if laws and rules in Georgia have changed before proceeding) is that a foreigner can legally operate a business in Georgia, something I am not able to do legally in the Philippines. The many advantages of opening a simple business in one of the Free Trade Zones in Georgia are fantastic: 0% import tariffs on equipment, stock items if the value-added finished product is sold outside Georgia, and ONLY 4% tax if anything imported is then sold within Georgia. Unfortunately none of us may live long enough to take advantage of those benefits. If the true 'owners of this planet get their way, their plan is to eliminate 93% of us 'useless eaters', a term uttered by Queen Elizabeth's husband, Prince Philip.
