I enjoy the gym walkthroughs! Keep those up. Sometimes you pick up little stuff that's not even mentioned in the video. I always end up rewinding to check stuff out.
Packaging: It came in a sturdy rectangular cardboard box that said Yoga on it. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxZkaD2JsPC-fUMkF3vxJ2echoiXZ3T9aM I didn't like how it let possible package thieves know what might be contained inside but great packaging otherwise. The yoga mat came rolled up in a plastic wrap, which was fairly easy to remove.Contents: I got the green yoga mat and it came with an adjustable velcro carrying strap already secured to the mat. There was also a warranty card. There was a bit of a plastic smell coming form the yoga mat but it quickly dissipated after using it once.I've only used the yoga mat twice so far but I am loving it. It's such a game changer to my work outs, especially compared to my bed and floor, haha! I can confirm that it very thick, slip resistant, and comfortable. i didn't look at the dimensions prior to buying the mat, but it is so much longer than I expected! Width is normal size in my opinion. I don't know if it really is tear resistant yet... only time will tell!
Great looking gym. For those of you on a budget: If you want to spend $4k on doing your garage flooring get Elinko. If you want to spend $470 buy stall mats from Tractor Supply.
I don’t have a sick gym. But it’s functional and I am forever thankful for it. Power rack, adjustable bench, barbell, is really all you need to get it done. If you’re trying to be more serious about your fitness and level up from living room workouts (also great). I find when you are apart of the process in building it, you’re going to use it more because it’s tuned to your liking. Great video as always.
The jd gym knurled handle suggestion looks awesome. I love the walk thrus. The flooring is nice. I also like the regrets being mentions of the faults with some of the items when trying to mix and match. I love my gym and wouldn't trade it for a commercial gym. You are a 100% correct, he will fill in that space in no time. I have been building mine for 15 years. I have swapped stuff that I regretted buy and have flipped multiple items after Using them for a year or two!
Really cool stuff man! Looks great and I love how you showed how you still have your garage stuff in there! 2 things i need now….Eleiko flooring to match my bars and SONOS speakers!
Just saw this video as a recommendation from TH-cam. Love the walkthroughs! I have a three car garage (one tandem space) and I’m trying to make the tandem portion as a fitness area. Would love to see more “smaller” gyms as well!
Yes the gym tours are fantastic. I love seeing what people do while keeping it basic. Especially the "this Rogue attachment with this rep rack because its better"
Yes I love it. It helped me create my gym to what it is thus far. I will definitely share and tag you here soon. Without your help it wouldn't be what it is.
I’m digging these garage gym walk throughs! I’ve got a pretty nice setup, 6 post Monster rack with the Rhino and a center mounted slinger (á la the COOP rack), deadlift platform, a couple of Ohio power bars, an Ohio deadlift bar, an Ohio squat bar, the nuobells, rogue adjustable bench 2.0, rogue monster utility bench 2.0, and a concept 2 RowERG. It all (mostly) fits in one stall of my 3 car garage. I owe a lot to GGR and Basement Brandon for what I picked.
Totally for the garage gym walkthroughs and honest opinions of the purchase regrets. ie. dumbbell weights, lat pull down inconvenience of rolling the weights being an inconvenience. Thanks guys! Keep them coming.
Awesome walkthrough. I was thinking of getting a plate loaded lat pulldown, but you’re right. The center mount lat pulldown would be a much better option.
I enjoy the walkthroughs, for sure. It's really nice to see equipment in different configurations and spaces, helps me contextualize how it might look in my home gym and what may or may not work for my space.
Love the gym walkthroughs, really gives a great look at what/how/why other people do in terms of set ups. Best thing to do to get ideas and see what works and what doesn’t. Since COVID, I’ve slowly built up my home gym to run my training business through there instead of a commercial gym. If you need more garage gyms to do walk throughs, I’d love to get a chance to be on it!
Love the gym walk through. This set up is exactly what I’m going for. Sort of a minimalist approach that covers all the needs. Add a rower and it’s perfect.
I went in my pocket to upgrade the handles on my Pro Rexan 125s powerblock. Bought those handles from JD Gym equipment you were 100% right about hose handles they are excellent!!
If anyone has a home gym and is thinking about buying a leg extension/leg curl machine, I use the Westside reverse hyper for leg extensions, leg curls and multiple types of pulls. Its pretty versatile if you get creative. You can even do tri extensions if you have some handles you can attach.
Hell yes to gym walkthroughs! It's always great seeing how people choose to kit out their personal spaces. If you're ever in the PNW you'd be more than welcome to tour my space, ha.
That is great space! Window provides some natural light and side nook is definitely a plus if only wanted a small gym. I’m sure he will make upgrades but I think the reverse hyper, either the power rack w/ a stacked lat pull dwn or the Titan functional trainer (not both), and the bench. Also, if I owned my car I wouldn’t give up the garage but a lease can stay parked in the driveway and I’ve got to have space for a freezer/refrigerator. He definitely has a fantastic home gym.
The Titan dumbbell stand is WAY better than the PowerBlock stand. It doesn't have the holes for the adder weights, and you'll need to cut something to raise the blocks up just a little because of the lips on the side, but it's WAY sturdier and has some built in plate storage.
Love the gym walkthroughs too! Would be great to see a picture of what equipment was there before (with the dimensions of the space) so smaller spaces have an idea of what they could do
For the leg extension, go get a jack stand and when you load it up, you can have the loading pin out in front a bit so that the moment arm doesn’t change much during the movement.
I have the PB Pro 90s as well and i went with the Powerblock Max Powerstand (make sure to get the Max, which is compatible with up to 90lb). Its the perfect height and you can walk into it, which feels the most natural.
Love the garage gym walkthroughs! Honestly I can’t get enough lol! It’s cool because every case is customized! And so gives different perspective and insights. Also I have a great garage gym that I’d love to share if your willing to come to Jackson, MS!!!
Great looking gym! All you need now are some gym banners, maybe a fridge in the old gym section and a leg press or belt squat...it's SUPER easy for me to spend other people's money 😁
I really appreciate the work you all are putting in. I currently go to a gym, but I plan on buying a home soon and I was looking into building an at home gym. Thank you so much for all of the details and suggestions.
Love the gym walkthroughs! It's a lot of fun seeing what people purchase, prioritize, and value. Also, I think I have a pretty sick gym in Ohio if you'd want to come walk through it ever.
Coop, I have one stall of our 2 car garage turned into a gym for myself and PT practice. 6 post rogue rack, rhino, DIY platforms, storage options, leg press/hack squat. If you'd like to see or feature a one stall garage maximizing space with this equipment, let me know. Would love to show off my garage gym and help with some more content. Oh, and my wife still parks in the garage AND trains with me. Peace
The 1 inch barbell and 1 inch plates would definitely give the user more weight to growth their strength. 155 lbs with the Olympic bar and bumper plates would be outgrown quickly by most average men. What do you think of the the Tital fitness wall mounted pulley tower with dual handles? It is basically a single column functional trainer, plate loaded. That could give a lot of value with the number of exercises possible. The tower plus weight plates could cover a total body workout for between 500 to 750 dollars depending on how many weight plates you buy.
Really nice setup Nathan. Congrats on that. I really like that Titan functional trainer you have but my space will only allow the Titan lat pulldown. I’ll get the selectorized version. Can you do cable curls on it?
thats a great set up but for me all i need is the squat rack with pull u and dip bar and i can do full body workouts and add bands for resistance or assistance
Great review, I really enjoy these. Hopefully i'll have a working home gym eventually myself. I have some older weights / dumbells but maybe upgrades one day!
Great looking gym! I prefer the smaller gym reviews, as my workout area is also quite limited. We're always looking for ideas to increase utility of our setups.
Very practical video ! What would I change ? If the room is now for working out, I'd put the rack - presumably the most used piece of equipment, up front at the door. That way I could work out in the fresh air. Why stuff everything at the back ? It's not like the car will ever be in there again.
He can improve the function of his Titan leg curl/extension with bands. For the extension I hook a band around the rear post, and for leg curls I’m lucky and that I have a dumbbell rack in front of my leg curl machine that I can wrap a strap around
I’m looking to buy a leg press hack squat combo and I see titan fitness has one. Since you’re the expert just wondering your thoughts on the best option for this
Yes. I just commented the same thing. I don't think I've seen a leg press/ hack squat on the channel. Aside from a lat pulldown, leg press combo machines are usually one of the first specialty machines people get.
Yes, continue the in gym visits. Add floor plan dimensions, relative cost to equip, and expand on electrical/sound, if any. Keep up the 🔥
Ggr has already made an extensive video on the electric/sound in his home gym
Something nice about seeing other people’s gyms 🤝
He’ll get right on that for ya bud
why will u have access to so much equipment and have below average muscle development… to the point no one can tell u have ever workout?
@@connorschaal2729 and for free, of course…
I'm digging the walkthroughs. It's always nice to see what other people have in their setups and how they put stuff together.
I enjoy the gym walkthroughs! Keep those up. Sometimes you pick up little stuff that's not even mentioned in the video. I always end up rewinding to check stuff out.

The home gym tours are - hands down - the best content you put out!

Those handles on the powerblocks! About to order them for my set. Never knew about this before. Thanks!
Always love the gym walkthroughs. Would love to see even more small space/low ceiling/odd space solutions and shed solutions
Really cool stuff man! Looks great and I love how you showed how you still have your garage stuff in there! 2 things i need now….Eleiko flooring to match my bars and SONOS speakers!

“You and all your Coopness” - Priceless!
Yes the gym tours are fantastic. I love seeing what people do while keeping it basic. Especially the "this Rogue attachment with this rep rack because its better"

Love the walkthroughs. I’d like to see a combination of seasoned home gym veterans and rookies just getting started 💪🏽

Nice gym. Those Eleiko tiles are awesome.
The westside scout hyper is soo freaking good, I love it!!! It is stable enough without being heavy and taking up zero space
Love the home gym visits! Thanks for inviting us to see.
Enjoying the walk throughs. The JD handles on my powerblocks are money well spent. So much better.
Love gym visits! Agree do more of these so we can get your take on what to do in different spaces and also based on the individual’s fitness goala
Shout to to JDGym. The thick grips totally transformed my PowerBlock USA Elites. Worth the price and worth the wait.

More home gym tours with budget equipments and flooring would be a blessing !

Love the gym tours. If you find a basement gym that would be cool. Not many drop ceiling gang around here
I wish I had a friend like Coop. Good people!✌🏾
Yes to more gym visit/reviews. I like when you show professional athletes too. Thx man!
Love the friend/ co-worker gym walk through. Keep up the great reviews and content!

Coop, I really like at the end of the walk through that you offer your suggestions for potential improvements.
For the leg extension, go get a jack stand and when you load it up, you can have the loading pin out in front a bit so that the moment arm doesn’t change much during the movement.
Yes. Please do more home gym reviews. I'm getting great ideas for my home gym.
I have the PB Pro 90s as well and i went with the Powerblock Max Powerstand (make sure to get the Max, which is compatible with up to 90lb). Its the perfect height and you can walk into it, which feels the most natural.
The gym is very nice, it seems to me that the space is well distributed and organized. excellent work !!!
Luv that flooring!
Like seeing these. If your back in Columbus, welcome to stop by for a tour.
Love the walk through! Keep them coming.... Maybe a COOP do over show, fixing home gyms???
I love this flooring. One question. Can you park your vehicle on those or does he just leave his vehicles outside?
These gym visits are fun little changes to the channel, keep them up
Great video, this kind of variety in content is perfect
Awesome vid, Im surprised that Coop didn't recommend changing out the Overhead garage door motor for the style he has to free up more overhead space.
One day I hope I have the money to create a garage gym this nice. Love the tile flooring!
Love the garage gym walkthroughs! Honestly I can’t get enough lol! It’s cool because every case is customized! And so gives different perspective and insights.
Also I have a great garage gym that I’d love to share if your willing to come to Jackson, MS!!!
Absolutely love home gym walk throughs. That set up is sick
Love that flooring

Love for you to visit me and see the setup. I know your audience will enjoy the tour.

Yes, please do more gym walk-throughs!

Oh, and my wife still parks in the garage AND trains with me. Peace
Love the gym reviews. Would be interested to see some in smaller one-car garages. I live in the city. Space is tight.
Hell yeah Coop love these videos man. And awesome to see that Titan Roman Chair I have the same one love that thing!
The gym walkthroughs are awesome. More please.
Great set up Nate! Yeah I need to see Echo bike or Assault Runner in there to really round out the workouts.
I have the same Titan hyper. This is my solution for the “issue.” Strongtec balance pads. They come in pairs. Can find on Amazon.
Absolutely love these gym walkthroughs, gives me ideas, please keep em' coming!

I put chains on my titan extention/curl machine to give me the weight on the bottom end that I needed. Made the weight even throught the movement
Love the gym walk throughs like seeing what people spend their money on

Definitely continue in gym visits.

the powerblock racks are worth it just in terms of the angle and ease of use.
