- In this video, I documented the process of turning my garage into my dream home gym. I have ALWAYS wanted an at home gym but never thought it would be practical.....until now. This is my garage gym tour! The ultimate garage makeover for my home gym!
I hope you enjoy hanging with my on this garage gym build and this DIY home gym has been a BLAST.
Be sure to reference some of my home gym equipment and any home gym workout I do in the future with your home gym setup or just in your drive way like I did for so long lol if you have any garage gym idea then surely get after it! The payoff is HUGE!

Loving it. You should also paint the concrete trim between the floor and the wall. That would make it go from 95% to 100%.
Solid setup with good efficient use of space. I also have a single car garage that I modified into my gym, although about half of it had to be kept as storage for kids toys, snow blowers, etc. I went for loadable dumbbells handles as opposed to a set of dumbbells which left me room for an Assault Bike.
I made my own little gym recently in my garage and it’s really neat. Can’t wait to use it some more!

OMG. My old friend the UE Boom, or in my case I do believe I had the mini Boom technically. That guy made my days working in a shipping department much more enjoyable than it would have otherwise been. After taking many bumps however, it eventually broke down. I did open it up to see what exactly had happened and what was rattling inside lol. Someone had a boombox like thing from Monster which was on sale at the local drug store at the time, so that's been my main gym speaker for a long time, and frankly it's pretty damned sweet. It's got built in radio if you just want to put on something that way, or connect your phone and play your tunes as you normally would. The best part is it's battery and has a plug in cable, so you could use it on the go, or keep it plugged in. Excellent little setup you have there.
Man I wish I wasn’t the only mechanically inclined person in my house. My dad isn’t, brothers aren’t. I had to make one aka my 10 year old. He builds forts with rip saws and miter saws. Knows how to solder and fixed his own mini bike. I have rebuild motorcycles from scratch and engines. We both program and code. I love seeing father and son videos. Great job gentlemen. Now my wife is going to be pissed I’m taking a bedroom for a gym lol😂

I have some Bowflex dumbbells as it was more practical for storage. (Not that I use them as much at the moment as I’m finding more joy with the resistance bands)

Nice set up. I would recommend Walmart dumbbells because they are pretty cheap. CAP brand and they are priced about $1.32 per pound.

Rep definitely not affiliated with Rogue. They just build a lot of products that are likely copied from Rogue, but still good quality for the price point from what I hear.
I went REP instead of Rogue. That said I did order the concept 2 rower and a set of the bumper plates, 2 weeks went by and they still hadn't shipped so I canceled, found the rower somewhere else and made a second order with REP for bumpers. Best Rogue could offer when contacted about shitty handling times was "you are in que and it should ship out in due time" whatever that means. Steer clear of Rogue!

Congratulations on losing 100Lbs. I have to lose 50. So its time to get off my butt,and drop 50,and build some muscle at 55yrs old... Wow, I like your set up a lot. I turned one of my bedrooms into a weight room, I have my treadmill and my rowing machine in my garage. Thought about tuning my master into my gym so it will be in one area but don’t want to rip the carpet out of another room.

I’ve always had my best workouts in my garage growing up at my parents home and now I’m going to build my own gym in my basement of my new home. No gym memberships, waiting for machines to open up because they’re being hoarded by people with no gym etiquette, no wiping down nasty sweaty gym equipment, being able to blast my own music and be as loud as I want and no more people staring at me. I also don’t have to worry about the gym being closed because of a pandemic. Covid-19 put a lot of perspective and reiteration that everyone needs to have a home gym. Goodbye Ballys total fitness and 24hr fitness 👋 We don’t need you anymore!
