I made ball bearings for 36 years in a factory. You are very precise on your tolerance level and I would trust your build more than any machine shop I know of! That motor will last I would wager! Very good and very good patience that this working class needs today! Keep it up my friend. You are an inspiration!
I have thought the same thing, I rebuilt hydro electric dams for years with 48” diameter shafts and tolerances within 2k because it was a life or death situation of correction in tolerances. He does it with a street engine that most wouldn’t take the time to be that close to. Hats off to you Chad! Great job!
Yes ladies and gentlemen....once again we have been witness to the mysterious Chadinski. His skills and talent have baffled the masses and despite the efforts of MLS and some very bad knees, has once again earned a hearty TA-DAAA!
Great Show! Can't wait to hear it run, take as long as you can,to get er done, just makes more content to watch! The way you go at things, and talk about your Dad and past experiences , reminds me of my Dad and Me!👍
Another This N That Garage lesson in Back Yard Butchery at its finest! Thank you, Chad, for paying attention to detail! We should all be that good in everyday work.
Yeah you’re a hell of an engine builder. All them numbers making my head hurt lol keep up the good work can’t wait to see the old silver bullit ripping down the road
Great video as always! How about a smaller firey dragon for just the workshop building? Could be a good series😊 Also a run stand for engines with your digital engine analyzer hooked up exhaust plummed outside would be cool too.
Another awesome 2 hour Wednesday night, Oak Island and TNT Garage. You picked a good name for the truck. I like the way you explain every little thing that a person has to know when rebuilding an engine.
I remember seeing one of those machines sitting in the corner of my grandpa's garage when I was growing up! It always had a cover over it, so I kept asking him what it was, and boy did he give me a demonstration of what it would do! He would also use his SIOUX valve grinding machine to do valve jobs. When he died, my dad got the valve grinding machine and would do valve jobs on the side to earn extra money. Those machines are few and far in between in today's shops. I miss seeing him operate all these machines.
For a man who talks back yard butchery you have so much great information, always wanted to build a motor myself ,there is so much that i didn't know that goes into that process.very informative.great video.
Call that old truck the "The Fod" it will sound kind of like saying FORD in a cartoonish way but will actually mean FIELD OF DREAMS .because you found it in a field 😂
Not sure If I’ve made this comment before. Was salesmanger for Schwanns ice cream. Had a dept in Pulaski Tn . The way you say things, remind me of those days. At any rate I enjoy your channel. You’re amazingly very intelligent! After dealing the with the folks I knew there. That’s about all can say of them ❤
I’ve watched someone hone cylinders, but not with a tank. Didn’t expect to see this but I’m happy to watch and learn. Even though I’ll probably never do it, thanks for teaching!
I'm a true believer if you want something you go get it. So one of your lines always resonates with me and may or may not be a a hit for a tee shirt. "Until next time go do something".
kid i love your show. done deal not much to say. i have told you before that i lived with my aunt and uncle, a kid from ct sent to mo. after my mom died. I was led to believe Unk was mean but i loved that ole guy. heres how you come in, you talk and sound just like him. Most of all your heart matches his
I sure would love to win that old Silver Fox Ford you are creating. I don’t have that equipment or all the knowledge you have; but, your channel is unique to any other channel I subscribe to. Thanks for the great content and the comedy you add inhere and there. I wish I had some like yourself to tell me what to bye to turn my 454 into a mildly mean build. Let me know what else I need to do to have a chance at that cool ford build…. Sincerely, Vincent
Augh-Yeh 👨🏽🔧🧰🔧🔨⚙ Sillver 🐂It Yes Sir. Shore nuff. Audio from hat mic was A-OK , 👍🏼 On another note those 5 - 8 kw diesel heaters are designed for much smaller areas like a cargo van / truck camper etc. I'm kinda surprised you even considered that Dumass 😂 Can you still get a decent supply of free used motor oil? The DIY waste oil burners out there these days are phenomenal. Yes Sir.... Thanks Chad 🗽🦅
Chad!!! Love the new Mic, it sounds great and significantly better than its predecessor. Also I want that timing order t shirt!! Keep up the excellent work Ahhh. Not your shirt…dang wanted to buy s hoodie for winter with it on there. Regardless I can’t wait for your new stuff!! Keep us posted.
chad a freind of mine years ago had a van norman boring bar somewhat like that one and i nad him bore a 318 and a 400 chrysler with it and it was a unbeleavable job that was done. that reminds me of those days when i worked at a machine shop and cleaned rods cleaned most of the blocks cranks etc. there were 4 of us in the machine shop and busted our asses. people who brought engines in were impressed at the machine and cleaning of everything. silver bullet is quiet an awesome name, grey ghost is another good one. i think you should run that supercharged dude against the silver bullet at the track someday. that i think would be kindof scarry run. another awesome build chad.
Nice work! I know it takes a LOT of patience to do what you do. I seem to always learn something when I watch your channel. Looking forward to seeing that Ford roar to life.
You handled that hone disaster as well as anybody could have! I always leave 0.005" to hone...because I know I personally SUCK at it, and it gives me plenty of time to screw all the holes up, and then fix all my screw ups...lol. That sucker oughta RIP!
I used to use clevite, federal mogul, and a couple other popular brand bearings ….for the last 15 years I’ve been using King bearings ..standard version and race version…no issues at all. Nice build …be fun to see how she runs.
Good video. Years ago, my buddy picked up his Chevy 350 from the machinist; while trying to assemble it the crankshaft would bind in part of the rotation. I never did find out why. I do remember when I was a kid one of my classmates ran his car without coolant and seized the engine. The machinist was able to rebuild it but had to line bore the block because it was so warped.
Awesome job Chad keep up the good work I wish I understood more of those measurements u were speaking about shows u on how many engines i remade hahahah but thank u for teaching me i like the nickname BTW good choose u painting the engine a ford blue or black
Hay chad I love your audio it sound grate I am looking forward to seeing this engine run oh by the way I love the name of the truck silver Bull take care of yourself and intill then blurt blur
Oh I LOVE the idea for the name Chad.. doing it like that with the design, that's an absolute WINNER and she'll be a show stopper with it! Nice!! edit: I bet if you did a graphic, and not on the truck itself, but for a tshirt later on, do a picture of the truck with the word silver the picture of the bull on the door and the letter it after the bull.. like.. you know.. I'd buy that design! : )
I enjoyed this. Getting all the details. Maybe some of your catch phrases on some shirts would be neat. Or one that says backyard butchery or maybe “go do somethin “. Thanks Chad for another good video.
Keep on going Chad, this is a great encouragement to get more done here on my junk… fyi I remember this truck this week after forgetting about it previously🤣 one week memory test passed
Thank you for the video i really enjoyed it !! as i live in England the giveaway would not apply to me but id dearly like a signed calendar of all your vehicle's !

The Hat Mic works perfect!.
The gift of knowledge we get in every video is plenty good for me
That's a great name I think that gen of Ford trucks is nicknamed bullnose because of the front end
Silver BULLit - Awesome, fits perfectly
The name " Silver Bull it " is a perfect name for the old pickup. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Name works perfectly. That model ford is nicknamed the bullnose f150s
I love this channel. Sometimes it’s backyard butchery and sometimes it’s measuring down to the thousandths and you let us know why. I learn a lot!
Very informational video. Enjoy your instruction on the things you do! Pay no attention to the ones that complain about your knees.
Yes ladies and gentlemen....once again we have been witness to the mysterious Chadinski. His skills and talent have baffled the masses and despite the efforts of MLS and some very bad knees, has once again earned a hearty TA-DAAA!

You keep on till you get it right, now that’s a true mechanic.
Call that old truck the "The Fod" it will sound kind of like saying FORD in a cartoonish way but will actually mean FIELD OF DREAMS .because you found it in a field 😂
Beautiful cross hatching.
Interesting detail about dressing the stones. Nicely done.
