In that shop, just wear helmets with hearing and eye protection from the time you walk in till you are out the door. I saw it being done in a 4 person fabrication shop 10 years ago. They were building ski lift parts.
A word of advice for Katelyn, from a retired commercial pilot. Buy the best noise reduction headphones/intercom money can buy. I just wish someone had given me that advice when I was learning to fly. After buying cheap ones to start with my hearing was greatly diminished at low frequencies. Once its gone its gone. Great job on the builds everyone
I wish they had noise reduction headphones back in the 70s/80s while I was in the Air Force. Hours/days/weeks/months of jet aircraft engine noise has diminished my upper frequency hearing.
This is the greatest kids day care ever! All sorts of dangerous tools, a great teacher taking the day off and lets the kids play grownup for the day! What a wonderful learning experience and lots of fun too!
Yes Kaulin, 6/8ths is a thing. Same as 3/4. Keep up the good work. Peanut needs her own show. This was a good fab episode and really shows off the new shop.

There was a video not so long ago where Colby did the camera work and editing, and you could just tell he had a plan right from the start. That was one of the slickest TH-cam videos I've seen on any channel. I am sure the quality of the videos is a big part of what makes this channel so successful.

Pro tip for Caitlyn, from a commercial drone cinematographer: if you're after useful flight physics training, I strongly recommend you pick up an RC glider. This will give you meaningful experience with airframe behavior, CoG & stall characteristics, dynamic stability, coordinated turning, adverse yaw, and the control surfaces you will use to stay 'ahead' of a fixed-wing aircraft. Even if your interest is rotorcraft, a modern camera drone doesn't translate, as it is literally flying itself in every way except for the operator telling it where to go. Grab a couple combat foamies and drag some friends to a windward-facing hill; you'll be too busy having fun to notice how much you learn...until your flight instructor has you land a 172 engine off and you already know what it'll do.

That picture of poor Kaulin sitting on a rock waiting for his kid brother to go get a rope to rescue him with is priceless. Looking forward to seeing some Peanut cam footage next time she goes on a recovery!
I really want to make one of these with one of the OBS 2 door Tahoes or Blazers, would be so cool. I would want to make a canvas top for it as well ;) Love the fun you guys have hehe
Please dont put that grinder with a cutoff disc in a bind cutting up/back like that, it might end up with parts and pieces shattered into you one of these days if it ever gets a wild hair to do so. Always use them where they are pulling away from you! Hate to see someone get hurt when it could be prevented!
Most of the time , they are without safety glasses, hearing protection etc. It will take a serious accident before they change their ways. Matt is the one showing them , so there you go. Anyone who has seen a cut off wheel come apart does not want to see it again, if they can still see at all. Many people have been blinded or disfigured.
@@echobeefpv8530 Meh. You need safety glasses that is true..but the rest..in my 20 years of working I had cut off wheel explode countless time. They do no damage, they have no mass ( thicker grinder wheels are different). So cover your eyes and you will be ok.

Relax ..I’m sure there’s going to be some diagonals and X bracing added and this is meant for slow speed flops..it’ll be fine.
The tangerine cage as well. Rectangular cages fold quickly. Both need a lot more triangulation.
i know nothing about welding nor cages but yet, i was thinking exactly the same.
Jake a heck of a hype man lol!! Almost like he's been hired to narrate the show... just doesn't seem natural.... Today on Matt's off road recovery here is what we have in store for you people at home! Lol ...love this channel so don't hate me
Rhett that's some intense sparkage. Did you have any solvent or oil on your pants? Cotton is usually more fire-resistant than that. Makes a case for PPE.
Wonderful guys! 😂 thank you so much for the bit in the end. You seem like a fun bunch
Some smart editor added excellent background music in this video. The "Peanut cam" feature is an impressive idea.
I love watching you “ young timers” as opposed to us old timers. You make me laugh, keep me feeling young and keep me following you all !!
27:28 I don't believe I've ever heard the "Tie Yoda" pronunciation. 😅
Thai-Yota.
The only I in Toyota will happen with the “Win”!! 🍻🤙🏻
Hahaha where I am from we call em Tieyoters!!
I'm not much of a toyota fan but I cannot stand him constantly saying it like that.
That picture of poor Kaulin sitting on a rock waiting for his kid brother to go get a rope to rescue him with is priceless. Looking forward to seeing some Peanut cam footage next time she goes on a recovery!
Love how zero performance mods were done to the LandCruiser and he instantly tries to take it over giant rocks😂
great work every one, you all did a fanstic job with out the boss being there. i loved it!!😃❤❤
Ed loves them candy canes😂
I really want to make one of these with one of the OBS 2 door Tahoes or Blazers, would be so cool. I would want to make a canvas top for it as well ;) Love the fun you guys have hehe
I thing Kaulin needs some cross angles bars for structural integrity on the cruiser.
"6/8th? Is that a thing?" Yes, commonly referred to as 3/4 inch. MORR getting it done! Awesome content guys and gals of Hurricane!
God I can't believe how many cry babies are on here
@@echobeefpv8530 Meh. You need safety glasses that is true..but the rest..in my 20 years of working I had cut off wheel explode countless time. They do no damage, they have no mass ( thicker grinder wheels are different). So cover your eyes and you will be ok.
@@echobeefpv8530 in this video they are literally wearing glasses, gloves, and muffs. are you blind?
He’s spittin the truth, but don’t tell people what to do Nanny State.
Peanut cam is the absolute best. ❤
Peanut cam is awesome! Put her on a recovery with it please!
Peanut cam is AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!
Now all they need to do is combine the peanut cam with the drone...
Katelyn, congrats on the steps toward flying. As a pilot, I look forward to hearing about your adventures!
Peanut cam is amazing!!
Now all we need is a MORR Peanut t-shirt.
Glad to see the youth of this company working so well together and fabrication skills.
Peanut is the moral support specialist and now has the Peanut
Cam great match
One of the best 4WDs hands down! I had a 97 and she was triple locked and could go anywhere with 33's and no lift needed...until some uninsured motorist passed a red light. Insurance said "They dont make these anymore...here is your undervalued settlement".
That hurt. Insurance company did the same thing to my second MR2.......
Big thumbs up to the Peanut Cam footage
