  • I absolutely love LockNLube grease gun couplers. They're awesome. Today, I just got a new locking air coupler from Lock N Lube, called the Lock N Flate. Let's this thing up to the air compressor and see if it will solve all of my tire inflation problems.
Want to get one of these things? Here's a link on Amazon:
    amzn.to/3RFVPKR
I get a little cash if you use that link to buy the LockNFlate, so that's Full Disclosure, right?
    Here's the Stuff from LockNLube:
Like no other air chuck on the market, the LockNFlate's six steel jaws lock on to any Schrader valve to create a secure, hands-free connection. The heavy-duty construction is built to last and stand up to everyday use in even the busiest tire shops, service bays, and garages.
    Features:
    Durable, spring-loaded TPU seal
Fits all standard Schrader valves [VG8/8V1 valve threads]
    Rated to 150 PSI
1/4” NPT Thread Size-compatible with most standard air hoses
Heavy-duty construction for strength and durability resists corrosion
Suitable for garage and industrial airline systems, auto and manual tire inflators, portable pressure gauges, constant pressure systems
Available in 2 styles: Open Flow or Closed Flow
CLOSED FLOW: For use directly from a compressor or airline. Must engage valve to open the seal. Works with all systems except for computerized commercial-grade systems.
OPEN FLOW: Allows air to flow through freely without engaging the valve stem. For use with systems that have hand/foot-controlled valves such as in-line gauges with a trigger, or automatic tire inflators.

Every DIYer needs both lock-n -lube and Lock-n-inflate, both are great products that work well and save time.

Watch out for that spider, man! (7:15 in). Awright. Behind your video, I am now convinced. I'm gonna order one of those air chucks right now. Thank you.

My lever action was a little stiff(of coarse I had one of the first produced), so I just simply sprayed a touch of "fluid film" into the jaws on the end and worked the lever back and forth a dozen times, hit it again with a touch of fluid film and then hooked air to it, blew it out and wiped it off and I havent had a problem since. Very very smooth operating now.

I've never tried fluid film. Gotta find some at the hardware store, I guess!

I found out about fluid film from Cody at "Wranglerstar" channel, it is a lube+ penetrant and it leaves behind a film to protect. It is really good stuff.

I'm thinking about picking one of these up. As a farmer I'm airing up large tires that sometimes take 5 mins or more. We have an older brand of a locking chuck but it doesn't hold on to the stem that well anymore.

I signed up to get one while they were still taking orders for the first production process, I think I waited about 6 months to get mine, but let me tell ya it was so worth the wait and the $49.99+shipping,,, It is priceless in my book!

Absolutely. I don't use it every day, but it gets used about once a week. The jaws grip great and air flow is superb.

Hit your hardware store and throw a 90 degree air fitting between the hose and the locknflate and it'll squeeze into 90% of those hard to get to valve stems

This is great! Do you have any details on the inflator with the built-in pressure gauge? I want to buy this for my disabled brother. He has an old setup and it would be nice if the Lock N Flate had an in-line pressure gauge. Did you just attach the air chuck to an existing inflator with a gauge or did you custom-build the entire setup?

I picked up the inflator with guage from Harbor Freight. Decent little unit! www.harborfreight.com/dual-head-air-chuck-inflator-with-dial-gauge-63544.html

Will this work on aircraft tires?

    • @HomesteadBandwagon
      @HomesteadBandwagon  ปีที่แล้ว

That's a great question. I have no idea if it would or not. The system uses the threads on the valve stem to lock on, so if the stem has threads, i would assume it would work

  • @upnorth5465

I just bought one and put it on my Matco tire inflator. Im super disappointed in mine. It won't seal on ANYTHING! Not on my bobcat, truck, or trailer valve stems. It does lock on good but leaks air. Bummer that $60 is going in the trash.
The lock and lube line is A++ and love um.
