    What I love about Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra is how they embraced people of other backgrounds. They were pioneers of equal rights for everyone on the TV screen. Forever legends.

    Paul was so funny, gracious, kind, watched him do his one liners on Hollywood Squares and then he was the voice of Templeton the rat in Charlotte's Web which he did perfectly.

    I would've loved to see Paul in a Golden Girls episode, matching wits, insults and wisecracks with Dorothy and Sophia. That would've been comedy solid gold!

      I didn't realize that he had writers. He wasn't that funny all on his own. I use to imitate him all the time. Got everyone to laugh. It's his voice and timing that made him special.

      “Frosted” back in the 60s and 70s was a type of dye job. I THINK with that horrible rubber cap with teeny tiny holes it it. The hairdresser would pull stands of hair thru the holes to highlight (my generation did foil thank gawd). My mom had “frosted” hair. It could be a mixture of blonde highlights, light brown highlights OR light gray highlights, depending on the customer. Mom had the gray highlights so it blended perfectly with her real gray hair. She wore her hair short. It looked great on her.

      sort of but no one cared. everybody knew that what it really alluded to were males and females doing something that wasn't too wise but consensual. It was a given that neither found rape appealing, but everything has to be explained and distinguished today until the parchment is dried, cracked and blanche.
