The other big names objected, a battle of egos ensued, the producers refused Gleason’s demand and he refused to be in it. Result - Gleason is the only comedian not to be immortalised in one of the greatest epic comedies ever.
Jonathan Winters did a lot of skits on The Dean Martin Show. I think that i got to watch them all. If I missed one I don't remember. I just remember all of those old comedy skits were funny and didn't have all of the cussing that they have in them today.
