thanks mate! sorry for the late response. The reason for the feedback was that the preamp tubes in the jmp 1 were toast and should have been switched months ago. I just put new JJ's in and it sounds even better than when I did this. There's much less feedback too
Tiago Matias advice it´s pertinent! I think the signal saturation problem is related to the potentiometer setting the effects loop signal in the back of the head 2000 is sending a high signal in TC-Gforce entry.
No worries mate. When I ordered them, they make two different models, 1 for the neck, 1 for the bridge. The only difference I notice between position is that the bridge pickups has a slightly higher output.
conor1423, nice video! I just have a little advice for you, try to decrease your input signal on the G-Force. It's suposed to go untill the last green LED, or at most the 2nd yellow. If you're going to the red LED that means your cliping your signal and if it's loud enough to pass to the Analog/Digital converter like that it will digitally clip your signal. Saturated analog guitar signal it's nice to hear (that's what your doing with your JMP for distortion or overdrive), but digital distortion because your input signal is too loud sounds horrible. Digital cliping is something like having broken headphones or when the music in your phone is so loud that distorts. It's just a small advice, since you're a tone perfeccionist, that's the last step to take in your rig. Keep it on the green / yellow. I hope you'll not find this comment to be offensive. Keep on rockin'! Cheers
No they're the same patches. But this new amp has slightly different tone qualities than the amp I had in my previous tutorial. Also, I'm constantly tweaking everything and experimenting. Cheers!
yea I do, it's they way the Jmp - 1 works. It's the only thing I dislike about it. I have mine set at 9 or 10. But my marshall is so bloody loud it doesn't much matter
Hi, I have the same Marshall amp (TSL602) and I'm thinking of getting a JMP-1. How did you connect the JMP-1 to the amp? Via the FX loop? I want to do the same. The FX loop on the TSL602 is parallel, does it sound ok with the JMP-1? And finally, do you have your effects unit connected to the JMP-1's effects loop?
I have the electro-harmonix 12AX7 EH tubes in my JMP-1. Are the JJ 12AX7 tubes better than the ones I have? I'm looking to get new ones, but i'm also new to the world of tubes :/
Hey mate I have a question regarding your connectivity between the JMP -1 and the G-Force so your Midi footswitch changes engage the presets in the G-Force and the channels on the JMP-1. Would you mind sharing that intel too?
Hello I'm the other Dave a.k.a BUZZ at 668 spring st. the neighbor of the beast. Good job bro, where do u run the cable or cable's from the jmp preamp to the effects loop of the dsl 100 amp head. Give the hook-up bro, please & thanx.
Hi man ! I recently bought a TC electronic and a jmp 1, but I have a question, how is the connection of cables between the guitar, jmp, tc electronic, the midi controller and the amp ( I have a amp with loops effects)? where I put the out/in?, where I put the midi cable?, etc. Sorry for the stupid question and the english, I hope that you could help me :D
Can you tell which is the correct cab that Dave uses? 1960B or BV? I´m looking everywhere, but no one can give me the answer!! I´ll change my 1960A for one 1960B, so I´d like to buy the correct one!
Hey man do you lose any signal while turning the effects loop on? I lose volume when I turn the Jmp1 effects loop on past 6...Wondering if its only my processor that does that..Thanks!
A few months ago I saw at guitar center's web page a marshall jmp-1 that came with a midi footswitch similar to the one you've got there. Did you bought that gear at guitar center?
quick question ( and I apologise if it is stupid)... your hotrails in neck and bridge.... are hotrails built SPECIFICALLY for neck and bridge just any 2 hot rail packages fit in either of the 2 spots ? cheers Mark

Hi Conor, Can you share the reverb settings for each patch?

man that riff you played was pretty fuckin awesome, is from an iron maiden song?
Can't tell you for sure. I know he uses celestion 30 speakers, but it's either a 1960A or 1960B cab. I don't think he uses the BV

niiiiiiicceeee.... so jealous
Hello. Do you still have the equipment with the Jmp-1? I would like to ask about the level of the Effect key. At what level is it better?
No sorry I wish I did. I miss that set up a lot
@@conor1423 So you no longer have the equipment? What happened? Anyway, sorry and thanks for answering.
@jorge castro no I sold it years ago, I needed the money. I regret selling that gear now, I still miss it
quick question ( and I apologise if it is stupid)... your hotrails in neck and bridge.... are hotrails built SPECIFICALLY for neck and bridge just any 2 hot rail packages fit in either of the 2 spots ? cheers Mark
cool. what are the gforce reverb settings? for all patches
Comparing this tutorial to your first one, the JMP settings for each patch are different (haven't checked effects). Are they different patches?
How did you get back stage?! :O Nice equipment btw! Sounds just like Dave himself.
Hi, Can you add me to your Google+? I have a few questions about the settigns so wanna discuss them a bit, if you don't mind.
