I couldn't have said this better myself. I love playing myleague offline, but with the dumb ass cpu simulator the nets have a 50/50 chance of winning a chip. I'm glad someone pointed out how dumb the cpu offense and defense is.
I love the NBA, but i stand playing 2K. It's either too easy or too hard. The CPU play like they are brainless or they make every shot and play elite defense. The online is just annoying with people spamming all the crossover moves. I pray 2K18 will be great.
SuperDawg07 2k isn't hard it's just cheap. There are way too many bail out fouls and the CPU defensive AI is terrible and there's nothing you can do about it. Players can go through eachother and the animations although they look nice are incredibly glitchy and not worth it.

I was WALKING up the court once and 2k put me in an animation where I shoved a defender (who wasn't set and wasn't even actually in front of me) and called it a charge. The charge cheese this year was so damn annoying cuz they practically pull you in and force you into doing it.

But I know that anytime I try to pass the ball to someone in the paint, the A.I. steals the ball. Pretty much every time. Like I had finished a game with about 8 turnovers from Gary Payton on MyGM, and 7 of those 8 were from A.I. intercepting any passes aimed at someone in the paint. In another game, A.I. Pau Gasol, finished with 15 STEALS!!! 15!!!

How about the insanely terrible park animations.. -Euro step then throw the ball out of bounds -The insane amount of blocks everyone gets, a lot of times based on ridiculous dunk animations And how about with the steals, you shouldn't be able to not be in any time of position to make a steal but then completely wrap around someones body or sometimes legit foul them and get a steal, but when someone else holds the ball out in front of you your guy decides to tackle the opponent when you try for a steal, and the animations where they push you out of bounds after a steal attempt... Goatquon Barkley IMO 19 wasn’t better than 17. 19 was waaaaay better than 20 and 18 though. 17 was the last 2K that OG 2K community members enjoyed, jesser, cash, and all those guys didn’t play 18, 19, and 20 nearly as much as they played 17. Plus my park in 17 was super fun and myteam was too.
What frustrates me is when im playing with guys like kemba, it4 or chris paul, none of them can EVER make shots pretty much by virtue of no other reason than theyre just short. Then theres stuff like andre roberson draining 3s on me, guards getting close to the paint and hitting a perfect bunny hop J even if its contested, getting somehow pulled into the defending AI like gravity and getting called for a charge. The list could go on and on. Just dumb stuff.
Next year we better be able to make shots that are at least 2 feet open cus in 2K17 if your opponent is 4-5 feet away from you it's an auto miss or airball
in my career i was playing against the grizzlies and deyonta davis is a bad shooter and he does that step back there’s and air balls it but still kept shooting and missed every three he took
*Just a few things you missed.* And these are actually really important, and nobody for some reason ever mentions them. Words cannot describe how happy I am that you made this video. I only really play now online, and it is absolutely horrible. Playing the Same team, playing literally only the same tier as you, being unable to friendly quit, same jersey color sometimes, quitting sometimes counts as "poor sportsmanship" and they ban you for 15 minutes (wtf??????). The gameplay is no surprise crappier than 2k16 too. Graphics also aren't as good as 16. Why does 2k always do this? Like, they come out with a really good game, (2k11, 2k13, 2k16) then the next year they make basically the same game but they screw it up, like it isn't hard, don't make the gameplay worse make it better.
The worst thing for me was when i would drive down the court and see a wide open teammate in the corner but NOPE the ref runs right in front of my teammate and my player would just fake pass it💀
One of my problems is that if you have a 7 footer you can't miss in the paint no matter what. I played against my friend and he was making kosta kofous look like a god.

2k17 and 2k16 are my least favorite. 16 is worse imo but that's mainly cuz I play mostly my career and my league but holy shit can't we have a normal my career where our player doesn't have a weird ass or annoying ass nickname. Frequency Vibrations?!? Pres?! Like shit let us pick our nickname. Also white my players always look like they have extra chromosomes. I swear 2k needs to fix their shit. How about the insanely terrible park animations..
-Euro step then throw the ball out of bounds
-The insane amount of blocks everyone gets, a lot of times based on ridiculous dunk animations
And how about with the steals, you shouldn't be able to not be in any time of position to make a steal but then completely wrap around someones body or sometimes legit foul them and get a steal, but when someone else holds the ball out in front of you your guy decides to tackle the opponent when you try for a steal, and the animations where they push you out of bounds after a steal attempt...
And how about some of the OP ass my players... Class Cleaners can make 95% of their open 3s??? Really?

I don't know if 2K will ever top NBA 2K11. That was the first time ever Michael Jordan was in a video game and the game itself was damn near flawless with a ton of new additions and great graphics. Pretty iconic for the time... just a shame it's gone so downhill since then

@@Rlucas198823 I remember when we played 2k14 on PC and this is sim related btw, people were complaining about how 2k14 on PC took a stepback from 2k13 in gameplay, with flaws like plays being broken off, standing around with no plays sometimes, algorithm boosting to role guys, all of those flaws we complained about there was in 2k16, and yet people all of the sudden sweep it under the rug, ever since that I stopped trusting the 2k community

Goatquon Barkley IMO 19 wasn’t better than 17. 19 was waaaaay better than 20 and 18 though. 17 was the last 2K that OG 2K community members enjoyed, jesser, cash, and all those guys didn’t play 18, 19, and 20 nearly as much as they played 17. Plus my park in 17 was super fun and myteam was too.

What frustrates me is when im playing with guys like kemba, it4 or chris paul, none of them can EVER make shots pretty much by virtue of no other reason than theyre just short. Then theres stuff like andre roberson draining 3s on me, guards getting close to the paint and hitting a perfect bunny hop J even if its contested, getting somehow pulled into the defending AI like gravity and getting called for a charge. The list could go on and on. Just dumb stuff.
Next year we better be able to make shots that are at least 2 feet open cus in 2K17 if your opponent is 4-5 feet away from you it's an auto miss or airball

Words cannot describe how happy I am that you made this video. I only really play now online, and it is absolutely horrible. Playing the Same team, playing literally only the same tier as you, being unable to friendly quit, same jersey color sometimes, quitting sometimes counts as "poor sportsmanship" and they ban you for 15 minutes (wtf??????). The gameplay is no surprise crappier than 2k16 too. Graphics also aren't as good as 16. Why does 2k always do this? Like, they come out with a really good game, (2k11, 2k13, 2k16) then the next year they make basically the same game but they screw it up, like it isn't hard, don't make the gameplay worse make it better.
The worst thing for me was when i would drive down the court and see a wide open teammate in the corner but NOPE the ref runs right in front of my teammate and my player would just fake pass it💀

One of my problems is that if you have a 7 footer you can't miss in the paint no matter what. I played against my friend and he was making kosta kofous look like a god.
