2k14 doesn’t get the love it deserves. It ushered in a new era (next-gen), more in-depth myCareer mode, and just some dope ass graphics.

Javian Johnson yesssssss 2k14 especially the and-1 dribble moves and small additions they made. I had it on PS3 and 4 and even on old gen the game brought back mini crew where we didn’t have arenas but we could run 3v3 and 5v5. The lighting on the courts was the best I believe and so was court spacing myteam was really good that year as well

I've been a NBA 2K gamer since the original on Dreamcast, never missed a single edition. I will never forget the first time I saw NBA 2K7 in motion at a local Circuit City. It was JAWDROPPING. Easily the biggest leap the series ever made IMO, to me, this is still the same general engine we are using today. It's incredible to think 12 years ago it was still totally normal to me for every single player to have the same shot animations. NBA 2K7 changed everything.

@@sicflip47 to follow up on NBA 2K6, a lot of people have probably forgotten, or didn't know, that the Xbox version actually came out about a month before the Xbox 360 version. I distinctly remember having the Xbox version originally, and then when I got my 360 on launch day, I traded it in for the 360 version. In my opinion, the original Xbox version of 2K6 was actually superior to the 360 version. The original Xbox version actually had far better net physics, that was immediately apparent. The 360 version of the game had a dead net. I also seem to remember one version of the game had Charles Barkley in it, where the other didn't. It was the last time Barkley was in a 2K game for a long time.

2K7 is my all time favorite Nba 2k. It took me years to finally let it go and upgrade to 2k11, 2k13, 2k18 and now 2k19.
i started with 2k13 and my favorite mode was called situation and u basically make your own scenario and jump in and play. I would always put myself into clutch situation ms so i could hit game winners, i really hope they bring it back someday

The presentation, those skyscrapers and neon lights, the 24/7 mode, the online lobbies, with regular nba matches, and street lobbies, the feedback system after matches, the crib, I have fond memories of this game. That was the first 2k when they introduced signature shots, I wanted to play 2k6, but unfortunately my 360 fried on me, so I never got to experience it.
I hope they remaster 2k11 for its 20th anniversary 👌🏾💯

I bought 2K7 at the PS3 launch along with Resistance fall of man. I remember always playing Franchise with the Phoenix Suns and loving every bit of it. The 24/7 mode was pretty fun too. During basketball camp I ran a local 2K tournament with my remates. 2K11 is my favorite but I have so many good memories with 2K7.

My first basketball game was NBA Live 08, my older brother was in high school at the time and he introduced me to this game on PS2, this is also when I became a Lakers fan.
2k3 was fire .. all versions of Jordan was in there and ESPN presentation was good

Being a month away from 13 I only started playing at 2k15 and i love 2k because of myleague i have ocd so having a realistic basketball world that you have control over is satisfying. i love all the 2ks but 15s my favorite the gameplay is just amazing

2k16 honestly could be right behind 11 but 15 was nice with KD on the cover with the ante up being introduced the whole undrafted mycareer it was very enjoyable as well I’ll be closely watching

Played since 2K2 and remember being so excited for 2K7 on next gen (back then) because of the graphics upgrade and the signature shot styles. Btw the all star teams with the legends were in 2K2 so I think it’s something they’ve had since the original 2K. I’m 22 and it’s crazy to look back now and see how much of a change Live and 2K made jumping from the PS2/Xbox days to the PS3/360 days to now

2k8 was actually my first 2K and I absolutely loved it.
I've been playing 2k since Iverson was on the cover on Dreamcast, but I remember being amazed with 2k7 when I first played it on 360...It was the first NBA game with signature moves like Shaq doing that hard walk after he dunks and Steve Nash licking his fingers...Also it was the first NBA game where everybody actually shot like they shoot in real life...It was also the first NBA game that you can cross someone up and make them fall on their ass...And at the time the graphics were unbelievable...Nba2k7 was the beginning of the next level and the death of NBA Live
2k7 was the perfect ball game for its time..The blacktop to me was the best part about the game, the 21(rough house)mode had me n my friends at each other houses for hrs just playing that one mode lol..Before online, there was 21

I spent madd time playing this that summer after the season was over. Ironically I had a warriors dynasty with my created player SF. It had baron Davis, Jason Richardson, Stephen Jackson (who held my bench down with Monte Ellis) if I'm not mistaken this might have been the "we believe" year irl.
The flashing lights on the team select reminds me a lot of the actual Phoenix Suns player intros in 93.

That's only because a lot of people still were heavy on the PS2 07/08 and Live was incredible on PS2. I've owned every single Live on 360 and all of em were trash but Live 10 and even that was a little suspect lol.

Nba 2k9 was atrocious, nba 2k10 was a bit better bet nothing to write home about. If you were looking for a good sim basketball at that time, live 09 and live 10 were simply better than 2k9 and 2k10 in that regard.
