The one thing that pisses me off to this day about 2k20 is when I'm running a floppy and I'm trying to run through people and get stuck in the lane and sometimes get called a 3 second violation in the paint
oh yea. I also hate it when they take a long 2 or go into the mid-range area instead of 3.

What pisses me off is that fact that it’s still $60. I had game pass so I got to play it for free (kinda I guess), why tf is it still $60 when 2k21 has been out and the new gen is about to come out? I ain’t paying $60 for an ok game when a new console is coming out where I’ll be playing 21 on instead
Or when your spot up shooters stand all the way by the fucking logo when your playing against a zone so spot up shots were impossible 😭Also on 2 on 1 fast breaks and the other player would pop out even when they had like a 25 three. It’s so bad I stopped considering it a real basketball game, a realistic basketball game at least

The gameplay is so annoying but it is still decent in my opinion. I mostly play MyLeague, and considering that I hadn't played a basketball game since the horrible 2k18, I would say the game is a C compared to what we've got the past years.

The HOF ai on this game was so bad. One game I just used pick and roll and ran into the paint with Lebron. Legit managed 80 points with one player and one play. No adjustment, nothing.
When your game ai is broken by the most common play in basketball, you know things are broken.
One can only hope the Copy & Paste cycle isn't repeated in the next-generation of sports games

2k20 felt like a watered-down version of 2k19. Everything that made 19 great got changed or tuned. While they fixed some core issues I felt like some gameplay changes they made was unnecessary. It was passable but not great IMO.

@@pddimez8485 nah I played a little bit of 2k17 and a lot 2k18 and 19 and this 2k just isn’t that bad myteam was definitely an upgrade even with the glitched cards and my career was virtually the same except it took away some glitches and added a few glitches also the neighborhood was once again the same

I just watched an every 2K finals championship scene video and it made me want to start playing 20's MyGM/MyLEAGUE basically for that lol.
14-19 had the exact same raise trophy scene i think, and 20's basically upgraded it.

I just now started a MyGM in 2K20 and looked through all the menus and the feel of everything including the sounds basically gust gave me PTSD lol so i closed that game app and started up 16 😂

@@rylie34 That happens in nearly every 2k game, I was playing 2k20 the other day and by halftime on HOF sliders I was able to get 40 points and 40 assists. Just based on the eventual double team issue.

I started playing 2k3 on Dreamcast and I can honestly say that 2k3 had better gameplay than 18, 19, and 20. Havent played 21 but it's just 20.5 so 2k3 is better than that one as well.
2k16 was the best all around game and they completely killed the concepts from that game.

2K20 MyTeam has great content, but my biggest gripe with it is how quickly it starts feeling like a *cheesy 99-rating spam shit-fest.*
In just 1-2 months after release, the market is overloaded with stupidly OP cards that are WAY TOO EASY to get (flooded market = low prices) and this makes EVERY grind in the game seem obsolete.
Why would I care to grind for a 99-rating card with 99 in every stat, which is totally unrealistic, when I have a 95-rating card of the same player, with pretty OP stats, for like 5k MT?!

In summary it was ass and the last 2k I'm ever getting period. I don't care what improvements they make over the years, I'm done with this franchise, I'm done with the lack of effort, and I'm done with this company.
@kaleel clark 16 was the last time I actually enjoyed playing the game, granted it was my first one on PS4 but the game was decent (like about a 7.5 rating). If I was the better player(and I was) I could beat anybody, defense was playable people weren't putting Lebron at point guard yet, badges weren't broken, the my career story was short sweet and memorable, dribbling wasn't broken, the list goes on.
The only part of 17 that was even remotely enjoyable was park and even that was garbage. And I can't say enough just how dogshit 20 is, I got double teamed with 7 assists, and 0 points.... *IN MYLEAGUE* , that's just pathetic.

I used to play NBA Live 98 and 99 when I was a kid but I didn´t play any basketball simulation untill 2k10 and it was a major improvement to my previous experience. Since then I bought every 2k (except for 2k18) and they got worse every year. 2k felt the need to waste my time with endless cut scenes which you couldn´t skip. In-game micro payments seemed to become the focus of 2k and the graphics felt the same to the previous year. 2k17 was the game that kept me from buying 2k18 because it felt like playing 2k13. And then 2k presents 2k19, I bought it. Big mistake! Terrible gameplay, reaching 90+ on your MyPlayer took ages and it was expensive. I thought 2k20 had to be better but it´s basicly a copy of the previous game. 2k21 for PS4 as well. I wasted so much money and lifetime on that game that I started typing like Donald Trump. Short sentences but I don´t have the energy to type all CAPS
