@@qwill5925 Park isnt the only game mode buddy, they changed up other features through normal mycareer, and made huge strides for myteam, mygm, and myleague. Those other three modes were legit copied off 2k15 in 2k16 with exception of just gauntlet and uploading pictures, and that shit never worked for 16 99% of the time anyway.
2k17 honestly park wise. Was the most fun i had. Enjoyment laughs memories all that. The mycareer story was cringe but thanks to Orange juice. Bag grinding was soooooo easy lol

2k17 will always hold the highest spot in my heart because that’s where I made half of my friends list and used up 99% of my day, where I discovered park for the first time and ended the season as a park God and pulled a random playoff moments pack that gave me a 98ovr James harden who I sold for 550k mt first day and that bought me a full diamond line up.... life was good, life was simple
2k17 is the most mixed game of this generation of 2ks. There's a margin of people who loved it and there's a margin of people who say it's trash. 17 is literally in the middle lol. I found out that it's all in the perspective. It's trash compared to the past 2ks that came before it, and it's a good game compared to the future ones that came after it. That's what I've come to realize.

2k16 and 2k17 are the two best 2K’s in my opinion. Many more of my friends and people I know agree with me, tell me I’m wrong. I had the best time playing 2K17 more than any other game and that’s my opinion. I would wake up and grind all day and play park because it was a fun game and mycareer was deadass fun.

I hated this game. Everything about it was a downgrade from NBA2K16 for me personally. Only thing of relevancy that people keep constantly bringing up is the clunky and spammy dribbling mechanics, broken builds like the Stretch Bigs, and just about anything MyPark related. The game was terrible and started 2K’s decline. I played the game since Pre-Tip-off and feel NBA2K17-NBA2K20 are only ever looked back fondly of, because they catered to try hard MyPark players. This 2K was the first 2K where they did away with the ability to pick up and play due to MyPark players complaining about the lack of a skills gap. MyTeam was also bad at the beginning of the year, so there wasn’t anything else to do with this game if you weren’t a MyPark\ MyCareer player.

Players still don’t react to the ball well, they still put up dumb shot attempts instead of using the glass, etc. 2K was at least a fun pick up and play, yet competitive game back in NBA2K11-NBA2K16. Nowadays, defense is basically useless because you get locked into animations; meanwhile it was actually fun to play defense back in NBA2K15-NBA2K16.

I can't wait for the NBA 2k20 ranking. This year is the first time I went back to a previous 2k. I went all the way back to 2k16. I can't believe I forgot how good it was. there is a lot of 2k BS and the AI can be insufferable when it wants to win, but the gameplay is damn fun and nothing feels super-overpowered.
I think this game is a classic example of a tale of two cities. The online community has very fond memories of this game while the offline community hates it. I was a Park player that and I still have fond memories of this game playing with my friends. I do see Dom’s points about this being unbearable as an offline player and remember the vids he made. I think this was the last great 2k game and would easily go back to it if the servers were up.

Fun lol not really. Nba 2k17 is the starting point on how 2k got lazy and greedy. Bad gameplay, dumb ai especially in situational and matchup, bad mechanics, bad graphics, the lag after dark, the patches, loading screen, and rushed to release. The only thing its fun is the mycareer online and offline but the overall is bad and flawed.

Nowadays, defense is basically useless because you get locked into animations; meanwhile it was actually fun to play defense back in NBA2K15-NBA2K16.
@@darnayblue3081 they changed the engine from 2k16 to 2k17, 2k said that they were changing it because that wanted to get the most realistic curry as much as possible, so 17 came out, and it was competitive to me, but was broken, 16 was boring, as I play it everyday, not saying you don't know what you are talking about, but if you haven't played it recently, you might be fooled like I was and start to realize even 2k15-2k17 was not so good either, 2k gameplay sim has been garbage after 2k13

I can't wait for the NBA 2k20 ranking. This year is the first time I went back to a previous 2k. I went all the way back to 2k16. I can't believe I forgot how good it was. there is a lot of 2k BS and the AI can be insufferable when it wants to win, but the gameplay is damn fun and nothing feels super-overpowered.

I think this game is a classic example of a tale of two cities. The online community has very fond memories of this game while the offline community hates it. I was a Park player that and I still have fond memories of this game playing with my friends. I do see Dom’s points about this being unbearable as an offline player and remember the vids he made. I think this was the last great 2k game and would easily go back to it if the servers were up.
2k17 had one of the best park experience but overall the game wasn't good. That's why people liked this game, the park.
After all this I pretty much forgot 2k17 was bad

Doms ranking are too biased on irrelevant game modes and little nit picky stuff like playing against AI. Like imagine wanted playing against CPUs to be competitive. It’s already hard to grind badges.
Alright I just lost respect for every 2k ranking video you’ve made. 2k17 was the most fun 2k game park wise it was so fast paced and crazy animations. Also the engine it ran on was great. Also best MyCareer badge grinding game.

Fun lol not really. Nba 2k17 is the starting point on how 2k got lazy and greedy. Bad gameplay, dumb ai especially in situational and matchup, bad mechanics, bad graphics, the lag after dark, the patches, loading screen, and rushed to release. The only thing its fun is the mycareer online and offline but the overall is bad and flawed.
I agree that 2k17 while fun was still trash, but to call it the worst 2k with a straight face when 2k18 exists?... Nah man, not to mention I think 2k17 is the last fun 2k and not the last good.
2k17's menu is streamlined and looks more aesthetically pleasing -- just because something is extra doesnt make it better
