- I can't believe it's already my last 24 hours in Kanchanaburi, Thailand! After spending an amazing 8 days here, it's time to move on. But before I go, I wanted to show you one last awesome thing: The Kanchanaburi Walking Street on Saturday night! It's like the highlight of the town and only happens once a week. Been a good extended walkabout Wayne that serves as a brilliant example of why you don't have to hang out where everyone else hangs out in Thailand, and the charms of Thailand that can be found away from the 'me-too' crowds.

Great series in "Kan" Wayne, did i see lots of fine looking Ladies in that market? At least with Thai ladies you know pretty quickly if they like you - The eye contact says it all. They melt your heart.

Nice one mate. I reckon this will become an annual visit especially this time of year with the burn off up north. How bad was the pollution in Kanchanaburi compared to Chiang Mai though mate. The surrounding provinces (especially around Tha Maka district and beyond heading toward Bangkok) are mainly rural with plenty of rice paddies and the like so I'm guessing the burn off a little unavoidable in that respect) . Probably make a good vlog actually 😂 Take care buddy and see you in the next location 🤩
Cheers mate, it sure could become an annual visit. Oh, Chiang Mai is a lot worse, it's still bad up there. Kanchanaburi has been medium pollution though. Yes mate, most of everything above Bangkok has got pollution. Nice one mate!

The thing I like about Kanchanaburi, at least from what I’ve seen in your series, is the traffic isn’t that bad at all. So even a novice bike-rider like me would feel pretty comfortable pottering around town here on a little scooter. Not so much in Bangkok, Chiang Mai or Pattaya.
Yes, it's a better place to ride a motorbike. Although, they do drive abit crazy because it's not really policed. It's a great town for first time riding though . Thanks

Wayne it’s really hard for to leave this town I can see why people are attracted to it they say when you retire visit different places but even if you retired here you could still get to Bangkok then hoi hin or cha am every few weeks

My whole life is in the North mate, I would need to sort out a few things if I ever moved. My room didn't do monthly, but there was some down the road for 4000 a month. I couldn't look at that day, I had to wait a few days before someone moved out. I was leaving the next day .
You can find some bargains here.

Would there be any real problem if you relocated to Kanchanaburi to live rather than Chang Mai ? I may be wrong but it seems you have no ties in Chang Mai to keep you there .Just like the littlest hobo " Gotta keep moving on " 😊
