You just help plan my next trip to Thailand, absolutely going to here. Love your videos, humor too. Do you use Final Cut by chance? I’m in the process of choosing an editor.
6:16 Just ate dinner in that same place yesterday hahahah! Kanchanaburi really is a gem. Great video, Jack! Initially I found your channel since you also do some airline reviews (like me) but I also enjoy your travel vlogs, really top-notch content you've got there bro. Hoping for our channels to grow alongside. Alles Gute & gib Bescheid wenn du mal wieder in Thailand bist.😎🙏
4:44, Wow, $16 per night to stay in Sam's house Kanchanaburi is very cheap, but it's far away from the city. That's your cheapest hotel that you ever pay and it's cool.
The way to pronounce 'River Kwai' correctly is like how you pronounce 'bear,' 'hair,' or 'pair' with 'KW,' because the way you pronounce it in the video sounds like the words for 'Buffalo' and 'Penis' in Thai :p
I explained that it is pronounced "Khwae" in Thai during the hotel tour. However, the book is called "Bridge on the River Kwai" so Western people are a lot more familiar with that pronunciation.
Great adventure! I remember reading the Bridge on the River Kwai as a teenager in school and the book was deeply moving.
Definitely! Thanks
I am a Thai person from Kanchanaburi province. Happy to welcome friends from all over the world.

It's not far, 10 minutes by Tuk-tuk to the bridge.
I see.
Let's Ms H doesn't drive the motor scooter into the rain like a mad woman like she did in Vietnam.
It's the dry season now;)
