Wow! The boat is absolutely insane, its so so cool! Btw, I recommend Be Real, I went on an Erasmus exchange last semester and some of our French friends actually introduced the rest of us to the app, its an amazing way to stay in touch with friends that live far away!

I've had Be Real for the past 2 weeks and so do all of my friends in college, this is so crazy! It's so awesome because it is seriously so raw and real, however it is still super glitchy but overall so fun

A bit startled seeing the that particular issue of Charlie Hebdo in this video ( 2:54 ), but apart from that you did a wonderful job Elena. Looking forward for other international apartment tours, keep it up!
He is completely justified in having that mag. The shooting was a tragedy, freedom of press is vital and writers shouldn't have to live in fear of being SLAUGHTERED at work. Criticism, sure, boycott, sure, but not violence just because they 'disrespected' a religion.

ehh, not condoning violence is one thing -- but this mag cover is clearly supposed to be divisive. in islam it is against their religion to depict muhammad. it goes beyond "freedom of press" and really lands on lack of humanity and lack of respect for an often ostracized group of people in france. the people who participated in violence do not represent the whole so why it is it ok to make perfectly normal citizens of france uncomfortable for "jest" or "irony". i find it really weird, given Elena is from the US, for her to think recording that and adding it in to her video is anything short of tone deaf.
A lot of french people decided to get that one and the one published after the attacks as collector items and to remember the events, some also bought it as a sign of protest in response to the ISIS led shooting, for most it really is a collector item, I do understand how no french can be confused after the controversies tho.

Would you say studying abroad for school is worth the money that you spend? Or is traveling outside of school a better experience overall?
I studied abroad and its such a unique experience, def worth the money! You can travel whenever but exchange is once in a lifetime!
yes i agree, studying abroad is such an amazing experience, also it's easier to make friends... if you go to europe there's usually 'Erasmus' activities, and although i wasn't european they included me in everything (parties, trips...)
In the guy’s case (I go to the same high school so I know lol) he had EU prices of around 10000 dollars, and since it’s three years, it’s still a lot of money but around the same price as private french schools and such, now it’s way more expensive. And to answer you I think it can be worth it depending on ur financial situation, yet there are still places like the Netherlands where prices are more reasonable especially if ur an EU citizen and during COVID times. I’d recommend to look into the different countries and schools keeping in mind financial aid is also available if grades are high enough!
I wish I'd gone to college in France. It's cheaper than the US.
