At first I thought it was going to be a unique place when you were describing her but then it turned out to the the usual white aesthetic, plants, Scandinavian vibes mixed in with some expensive pieces.
I love these videos but i think you should add in more people who are either born here or who have more of a "realistic" apartments, for most of us here, we unfortunately cant afford a $4,000 apartment, I would like to see how others make cute homes with less income.

Like the DeMaio family on Front Street by Adams Street. They have been living there way before the 1980s. And even I go back to that time. But there was nothing around here but factories that made clothes. I live a few blocks from Lale but I sure don't pay the rent she does. The major issue for me now is the subway at York Street it goes below the East River so it's very deep. But it has no elevator. Some of the people in DUMBO called in the news media to complain. This is such a great series but it would be great if you featured some more affordable apartments! Most of these are completely unrealistic for the average person.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that living in nyc is unrealistic for the average person. It has increasingly become a playground for the upper classes (by design) and neighborhoods like DUMBO have become extensions of Manhattan.

Yes impressive. And mad respect to people chased through the years, so vloggers and fashion designers can live between them and showcasing their amazing apartment with a rent equivalent of two to three months salary in a western average country.

That is the market rate for a 1-bedroom in this neighborhood - it is not considered an outrageous amount.

One thing that’s unique to NYC apartments are funky layouts, cool exposed textures/hardware, and converted/multi use buildings. It’d be great to see more of that funky NYC character featured in this series!

Affordable options wouldn't be an entertaining because the places would be dumps. People like clicking on nice things, not dumps.

Thank you for posting! I believe this woman had filmed another apt tour with a different channel and I've been looking for it for months! I saw the thumbnail and I was like "that's it!" It's my inspiration apt. I love the cozy, post-modern, loft boho vibe. Or maybe it's the same video..? Not sure, but I do know not many people can afford 4k a month. That's crazy insane.

What I like the most about your interior decor project is that, judging by the video, it looks and feels as cozy and pleasant as an environment of these characteristics and dimensions can be. Details like the plants, the lighting (which is a major detail) and the selection of furniture give it all the spirit and balance. I'm currently trying to reform the MCM style of my living room. We ordered a Togo sofa from Manhattan Home Design and are trying to add more details to make it all look more cohesive. Thanks for such a nice tour!

When I think about Dumbo, I think about how it was absurdly portrayed as 'affordable' on Gossip Girl cuz the Humphrey's lived there.... it's insane what ppl will pay for shelter, a human right. It's literally an old industrial building, and you're paying out the nose.

This is such a beautiful apartment! I wish there was a cap on rent though, that is an outstanding rate.
I'm born and raised in nyc...my apt is a co-op and my carrying charge is 1065 dollars, 2 bedroom including gas and electric. There is a 5 year waiting list.alot of the buildings are renovated factories and the owners are foreign investors, that's why the rents are so high. Born here new Yorkers would not pay that much we would just buy a house. Smh

Does anyone know who the artist is that she got the painting above her couch from? I’m having a hard time finding him online
i got the privilage to meet a friend on facebook from turkey, very nice person. he told me there was a lot of palm trees there. when he said that it made me think of the bible book of solomon, there is described two palm trees and the romance of the book of the song of solomon. and one time i got to looking on ebay and found some turkish rings great big rings with stones and these were made of brass and silver it made me think of a very flamboyant place and showing love and caring with such great big rings. i remember watching movies with sultans wearing big rings like that. tells something about turkey and the people that live there.
