This is Dan's third year. I'm assuming he is happy with the people he has recruited this past cycle who will (hopefully) bring about an opportunity to play for a Natty. Dan is not messing around. People forget Oregon did not play one team last season with an top 25 defense. Now they are in the Bigten and they have to face three of the teams that have the top 25 defense. Michigan and osu are both top five defenses. It will not be easy for them.

The defense has moved on from Grinch, and the coaching staff upgraded, so no more 55-54 nail bitters. Lanning has talent, but we still have yet to see, after 3 straight loses to UW, if he can coach.
