National College Football talk
Rebuttal to all those who refuse to see what's going on in Oregon. Ohio State has a new serious foe.
Oregon has become an every year contender They have elevated the recruiting to 1A status and are now battling with Ohio State, LSU Alabama and Texas. The money appears unlimited and everything the general public has accused Ohio State of is actually happening in Eugene. Ohio State transfer class is ranked 8th and their 6 transfers is a lower number than 92 of 134 schools. #miamihurricanefootball #collegefootball #georgiafootball #alabamafootball #ohiostatefootball

Growing the game of College football has done nothing but make it less enjoyable. The never ending fixation on the National Championship has hurt the sport and our perception tremendously. I am sick of monthly NIL donations and so is the rest of College football fans. Save us SAINT NICK #collegefootball

First team in the Playoffs in our 12 team contender series is the Miami Hurricanes. Mario Cristobol has caught a lot of heat after going 7-5 last season and this year the Miami Hurricanes will make a huge jump all the way to the playoffs. #collegefootball #miami #miamihurricanefootball #miamihurricanes
NFL media straight up lies about Marvin Harrison and the “press conference” that wasn’t.

Former Ohio State, wide receiver, Marvin Harrison, Junior, did not participate in the combine. He came Thursday and got weighed in and met with some teams. On Saturday wide receivers did their on field workouts. that’s the day. They also did their press obligation with the media. Harrison was not there. But that didn’t stop the media from running with the story that Marvin Harrison abruptly can...

Ohio State fans are preparing for a new look conference next season with the addition of 4 new Pac 12 schools. That is the least of the changes that are coming in the next few years. Really? You're going to hype Miami while throwing shade at their fans. If want to see some insufferable fans you do not need to look any further than Tallahassee (I hate the gators more, but FSU fans are the absolute worst). I'd put Michigan and Tennessee up there, too! Kids too young to remember when the Canes were almost unstoppable have been taught to hate Miami by default. Their minds have been poisoned by all the haters who I know what can happen when Miami gets good.
Those Ducks are Cheaters. Their coach Dan Lanning is a Disgrace. No wonder they find him scary. He has ties to that Dirty Rotten Phil Knight of Nike. Dan Lanning due to that scares me just as bad as Phil Knight himself. One other person who is just as bad who coaches those Ducks in Men’s Basketball is none other than Dana Altman. So when they play their first season in the Big Ten! Football wise! Dan Lanning is of course who needs to be outsmarted & outdid! But come Basketball! Same like I just said would go with Dana Altman if Men’s Basketball. They both are Disgraceful People. Just as Disgraceful as Phil Knight of Nike.
Oregon knows NIL! they pay their players!!!
With the exception extended playoff this year if he doesn’t make it to the national championship game he never will
FINALLY A OHIO STATE FAN WITH A UNBIASED OPINION OF MY DUCKS💚💛🦆
Good knowledge of the program for someone with no reason to know much about them. Wish Mariota had some of his receivers in the '14 championship game. That really held them back. Not saying they would have won, but should have been better game. Though the coaching disparity between the programs was appalling that year in retrospect.
Watch as he starts normal and continues to sip his screwdriver and get drunker and angrier at Oregon 😂
What happened the last time Oregon and Ohio State played! Oh yeah, Oregon won! Before you shit talk Oregon, you better make sure you get past Michigan. They’ve had your number for a while!
People can say Oregon is soft all they like but facts are The dudes they put in the league are not soft. Guys like Sewell come out of Oregon.
The Ducks are coming, and Ohio State fans sound scared.
Good video but you seem to hint that kids only go to Oregon because of NIL. Oregon recruiting hasn’t been a problem for the past two or three coaches. NIL helps of course but that’s across the board.
True. Oregon was HS recruiting just as well under Cristobal. Even Kelly pulled in some top 13 classes.
That BCS Championship game against Auburn was fumbled by the officials on multiple facets…. The first CFP vs Ohio St. was nothing less than “ a good old fashioned butt whoopin’”. I never saw Cardale Jones coming. Had to hang it up early that night. Kinda felt the same way when Georgia walloped the Ducks on Lanning’s first game as a HC.
If you have not read the Knight Commission Report (no relation to Phil Knight), you are not qualified to share an opinion in the comments. Oregon is the richest program in college athletics. Yes above Texas and Texas A&M. Phil Knight is giving absurd money to them. Read it and then come back and tell people that Oregon won’t spend their way to a championship level roster.
You clearly made that up, I just looked up top richest college athletic programs and Oregon is not even in the top 5 and barely in the top 10 going into 2024. Not sure what you read but that's clearly inaccurate 😂
Alright lets chill on the "beating the shit out of them" in the natty. We had so many injuries going into that game and it was competitive most the game. Yall scored garbage time tds. And yall use hella money too. I do agree tho and appreciate you laying the truth down and not being biased
Two of the most talented teams in the country. That game will be unreal and to be honest could go either way. Both teams will have new QB’s in new offenses, just surrounded with talent. Going to be fun.
True. I honestly think(which every game does.) will come down to coaching. Both defense’s will perform. But it’s the offensive play calling is what will be the must see. Just think about OSU vs Georgia cal couple years ago. After this game we will see if both teams will thrive during the final 4 of the playoffs. Adjustments are key and Kelly and stein are slated for the greatest chess match of the season. SCODUCKS 🦆
Caleb Downs went to Columbus for the weather and proximity to Georgia right? I don't understand why Oregon is the only program being 'accused' of paying players like its not a fundamental aspect of college football today? You're a realist though, I respect it. Cheers to a great season!
Exactly. He forgotten to mention that probably the best player to enter the portal during the winter or spring just so happened to end up in Columbus. I’m sure he did it for free too.
Dan Lanning would whoop Ryan Day tho 😅
Kids weren’t growing up watching Tulsa win games, nobody dreams of playing for them like kids do Oregon. Oregon has one prominent booster while most big programs have multiple. It just so happens it’s a relevant business to sports.
Reminds me of the Pete Carrol days at USC in the early 2000’s
The Ducks vs Bucks game at Autzen is going to be an all time slug fest. Both teams are playoff bound. It's going to come down to who can pick up 3rd and short.
Gonna come down to QB play…and Oregon has the edge.
@Brandontheduck QB play will be a big part of it but the one thing both teams have is an elite ground game. Who can punch it in from the 3 and walk away with 7 instead of 3. Both dlines are loaded but I think Oregon has an edge when you take the whole front 7 into account.
@@jefferylorsung8846 I’m curious to see Ohio States o line…I feel like they have more question marks there as-well
I remember being introduced to real football when PSU slapped Oregon's bill in the dirt. Think it was 94. Anyway, it's been a pleasure watching the ducks grow since then.
So I can’t deny that Oregon is skyrocketing in the right direction. They truly are. But when it comes to them winning a nattie, I’ll believe if I see it. Just like how I am with coach Day winning us a nattie. I’ll believe it when I see it
Bellotti took the team to 2nd in the country and multiple top 10 finishes. Oregon has also produced a stable of RBs and QBs since the early 90s that compare with almost any program.
Duck fan. Subscribed.
Flat out.... I'm dubious about Ohio State's QB situation. Chip Kelly should help the offense out. They might fall a little flat this season... Because of QB play.
I like your take. I’m a Duck fan. Subbed. Go Ducks 🦆
Oregon guy here. Ok you're right about the NIL to a point. To a point. Oregon has no better financing that Texas A&M, Miami, Texas, Florida, Georgia. You gotta give Lanning credit for his culture too. Kids have fun here while working their damn ass off. Hell most of the Coaches are only 10 to 15 years older than the PLAYERS. And they can COACH as well. Really coach. They went into Kyle Wittinghams house and handed him his ass. Worst home defeat Utah has ever had. Washington last year just had an equal stud QB with THREE NFL ready recievers. Now last year Oregon and Washington couldn't compete with Michigan or Ohio State in the trenches. But Oregon has closed that gap. We already had the Oline but I've never seen a Pac team with this kind of D line. Our 2's are better than USC's ones! See you at Autzen. Should be epic.
Always liked Ohio State, glad to see your take is based on reality and not feelings. Oregon has built a great program and the Pac 12 has always been competitive. Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State have been the standard of Big 10 excellence in football. I'm happy my Ducks get a chance to show fans they can do well in the Big 10.
How about everyone waits til they actually play in the conference for a season before talking. I get it, everyone needs views
The off-season is for speculation. Without games, we got nothing else to talk about
Ducks are pretenders . They might win 7-8 games
Oregon troll, you are cancelled
That’s cute let’s see how that prediction plays out
Last year all I heard was how Oregon was better than Washington - how'd that turn out ?
Oregon is probably top 15 in NIL for prep recruits and top 10 for portal recruits. When it comes to players already on the team they have to be top 3. This is where people are getting it wrong thinking Oregon just outspends everyone for every player. Oregon was originally generally in the top three for most of their transfer commits. Many liked Oregon but schools out East offered these west coast kids much bigger deals. When they loose their coaches and things start to unravel they come home. It’s not always exclusively about money, it’s about playing for a progrum you like and a coach you love.
How much are they spending? I’ll wait.
Wake me up when Lanning doesn't choke late in games. Lanning is actually 0-3 vs Washington and 0-4 soon enough.
This is a criticism haters throw all the time, and it’s a really dumb criticism. The dude hasn’t been a head coach for very long. He lost twice to a Washington team that ended up being the second best team in the country, and both were pretty close games. I’m gonna come back to this comment and laugh when Oregon surprises people this year.
Dudes literally been a HC for 2 YEARS shut the fuck up what was Sabans record his first 2 years
@@princeofgreece9054 Neither game was at home either and both games Oregon's starting CBs got hurt or were out already.
Couldn't beat Washington
Subbed. 🦆
Great content, new subscriber. Go Ducks!
I subscribed when you said Mike Bellotti. That mustache was nice, bro.
Juck, watching your video over and over is so hilarious. Looked like you drank too much whiskey in that cup. You sound drunk buddy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. You alright bro!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine if ohio state had gotten some high ranking dudes from the portal.... Oh wait. So does that mean yall arent paying enough? This sounds like complaining more than news. Talling about "discretion" when oregon has less players coming from the portal.... This slunds loke more soft talk. And that two hand touch game that was the spring gane doesnt help.
i think this guy is an ohio state fan. not 100% sold yet based on the background
If they can remember to take a knee
Oregon is still not spending at the level as Ohio St. don't shade another school for spending when they are trailing your team..
I feel like a lot of the people saying Oregon isn't going to do anything are stuck in the past. There are a lot of misconceptions out there. This Oregon team is going to surprise a lot of people that haven't been paying attention.
And, I still remember when the ducks were the laughing stock of the Pac 10, then in a matter of a couple decades were playing for a national championship, not just once, but twice, we may lose, but we continue to grow and adapt, we don't give up, we learn. Yes, we hate Alabama too, we wanted to play Bama in 2010 when we were at our prime, at least LSU took the risk, Alabama never took the risk to play someone good out of conference.
Juck, your points about my DUCKS are 100% correct in my opinion. You’re doing your homework really well. Too bad you’re not on our side because you’re good at what you do. What you’ve mentioned was the same as I’m looking at right now. You know exactly what you’re talking about Oregon at this point. I don’t like you seeing this, because you’re exposing them. I hope you focus more on Michigan than our program. Looking forward to the game in October. Hope you come to Autzen Stadium to watch my DUCKS against your Buckeyes. Respect to Ohio State fanbase. GO DUCKS 🦆🦆🦆🦆
Oregon is not the school giving out the most NIL money, that's A&M, Colorado and a few others. Shedeur sanders making $4 million - that's crazy. GO Ducks!!
Oregon is still behind ohio st too so its kinda funny
the narrative of dan getting harmon because he didnt want usc to have him is the narrative im going to use going forward lmao #GoDucks
Send him back to Athens. Dawgs need him
I was at the Oregon Georgia game 2 years ago. As I sat in the stands with my family watching my ducks get roasted, I began looking at the Georgia players, and their team in general, especially the defense. I knew Oregon was a very good team but I knew they were lacking something that held them back from that elite status that the Georgia's and Alabama's of the world had. Sure, it's nice to have great secondary play but I became focused on the D-line. These elite teams seem to always have, not 1, but 2 huge, and very athletic tackles that cause nothing but trouble for O-lines. Finally, it looks as though the ducks have those 2 players that will only raise the level of play for everyone surrounding them. I'm really looking forward to the season starting to watch this duck defense wreak havoc in the Big10. Go Ducks.
Great content keep up the great work!
