- A couple of days in my life as a film photographer with a small shop. I hope this video inspires and encourages you to create some art this week.
This is a self-portrait I took back in 2019.
Whenever I feel lost in life, I bring out my camera and take self-portraits.

I do the same thing, I can’t throw them away. I love little torn test prints.

You can always print slightly bigger on the paper to use the matte boards.
I think changing the type of easel will work too. I’ll for sure try it out next time 🙂.

Awesome video into your world! Oh I know so well the frustration and how annoying it is to see the white border when trying to mat a print😡 I love white borders but if I’m matting I will print borderless so it fits in a standard cut window matboard. I’m not darkroom printing and doing so with digital files but I’ve had my share of frustrations even though. Keep your videos coming they are truly a joy to watch😊 Cuídate!!

I envy how organized your darkroom is. I love the vlog. I have a question. Do you see a difference in quality and feel of a print done with a traditional enlarger vs intrepid enlarger. I am curious of the difference. I am currently using a traditional condenser enlarger but it takes too much space.
Thank you. I've only used the intrepid enlarger a couple of times. The few times I did use it, i really liked the results. I'm thinking of using it for my next print session. I'll tag you if you'd like. It truly is a great little enlarger :) But I'm happy to talk more about it next time I use it.

I am sure there are others with the same question as vintage enlargers are getting harder to find.

Que tan difícil es para ti conseguir el papel fotográfico y los químicos ahora que vives en México ? B&H puede enviarte el material hasta allá ?? O como los consigues ??
Justo antes de mudarme de California ordené muchísimos materiales de B&H. Lo que llevo del año aún no he tenido que ordenar mucho más. Pero si ordené unos químicos de páginas mexicanas y papel de resina de Amazon. Lo que si batallé en encontrar fue Heico perma wash.

Ijole, aún no se. Tal vez si sea una posibilidad, pero mucho mas en el futuro. Tengo un proyecto muy grande en estos próximos meses. Lo que si es que seguiré haciendo contenido en español :)
