    everything lines itself up. Building one now. Hope it looks as good as yours

    This is a very nice model. I 'm glad you didn't cover it in mud and pigment, I like very subtle weathering. The only thing that looks a bit odd is the white on the turret top. It looks like melting snow, Even if it was on the colour scheme I think I would have gone back over that myself.

    • @lpjmodels
      @lpjmodels  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Allan, I'm not a big pigment user, its too messy and I'll only use it when I need to bulk up for heavy mud effects or on a base, I'll try and achieve a realistic effect with oils or dirt products, when these tanks were used there wouldn't have been too much wet mud so I went for a light dust. Thankyou !
      The white patch is unusual but it's definately representative of the camos on these things.

    Truly excellent step-by-step video and end product !! You mention the tracks and yes, I found this is the one difficult feature - so how did you connect the two runs that make up a side ?? They magically appear connected at 14.50 with no visible join. I have not yet found a way that works !! PS - There are too many comments to wade through to see if answered earlier, tbh.

    Hi i just want to ask is it ok to glue after painting just like you did at 16:11. I want to glue things like shovel and boxes after painting. I try the other day but the glue melts the paint. Any suggestion?

      You can but its risky, its better to scrape the paint join back to plastic if you're using styrene cement, you can use superglue though for small items

    I think you did a great job..
    Only thing is the tools kinda stick out. There's no dust on them. And maybe some more definition in the tracks. Just minor crap. Lol

      Thanks Will, your right, they could have been lightly dusted with the rest of the tank

    How did the tracks go together Were they Glueable Or did you have to melt them together

    • @lpjmodels
      @lpjmodels  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rick, that's something I forgot in the video, they were just superglued with vms CA, the pins were very small so melting might be tricky but they held well with the glue

    What glue did you use to attach the tracks ?

      Vms flexy 5k CA extra thin, its a durable superglue, works well 👌

      @@williameverett8187 the VMS Superglues (flexy 5k CA) have a little flex to them, in my opinion it makes 'em a bit more durable, more give when needed which works well against shearing forces on flat parts but worked equally well for the rubber tracks

    Despite how useless it was in practice, like most of their tanks, I have a particular affinity to the way it looks.
