    It's just too expensive for Indian middle class, prefer Bolero as a better option.

    As thar 3 door is touching 20l on road price, Toyota hilux pricing is not bad considering it's indestructible body and Toyota reputation.

    Not sure why, every car reviewer has uploaded Toyota Hilux review TODAY...

      It’s called an embargo. Basically we drive the car across some weeks and then everyone has to wait for a certain day to upload so that it’s a fair thing for everyone

    Isn't Toyota Milking us hard with the ridiculous pricing!! They reduced the base variant prices but increased the above level ones. Also the closest competitor V CROSS is substantial cheaper than this. Also they cut a lot in features likes NO TPMS (providing as accessory), no 360 degree camera... This really is a huge vehicle which do need that if driven in city. Wish they had priced closed to V CROSS then this sure would have found more users coz people are going for such vehicles more since travelling is getting alot popular now

    38lakhs ?
    You guys should have thrown a jab at Mahindra in the Videos asking where is the ScorpioN based Pickup for half the Price?

    I do own a Vcross and just love it. And was fortunate to spend less for a beast. HiLux, yes, another beast but way too expensive. Definitely not a family car. You can buy as a life style 2nd car.

    That indestructible hilux in topgear had a boxed frame which nowadays isn't used much cuz boxed frames are vulnerable to only one thing and that is rust. Nowadays C channel frames are used which provide more chassis articulation also but not that robustness of those indestructible Toyota pickup

    The reason Toyota did not launch Hilux early because it will kill Fortuner Sales and trust me it will dent Fortuner Sales now.

    • @usuallyclueless4477
      @usuallyclueless4477 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably.
      If they launched the Hilux when the Fortuner was new, considering the similar price point, people might have bought this because of the name and reputation worldwide.
      Except the ones that really need those extra seats.

    • @CyrusDhabhar
      @CyrusDhabhar ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. I don’t think it will,

    • @c63w204W
      @c63w204W ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe not, for people who don't want 7 seats, this is good, but again its a huuugee car to drive in the city (maybe that's a good thing, even bus drivers will be afraid of getting in the way, anyways), price is to some extent justified, but with the lack of basic features, many will surely prefer the Fortuner, because no one would like to hit a pillar in a basement parking lot, the whole building will just fall lol

    PD is losing its edge with such untruthful reviews.
    Evey child knows Hilux is way overpriced for its offering.
    Isuzu Dmax VCross is the clear choice, or even Bolero Camper gold ZX.

    What kind of a self-hating person would drive a Hilux in Mumbai in Monsoons!

      @@CyrusDhabhar@ Cyrus Dhabhar By that logic you can buy a train also. Don't let my traffic and relative car size concerns stop you. Also, my comment was from a personal experience. We have had a Hilux for around 6 months now, It's a pain to navigate in any city traffic. It would be foolish to take it out in the in Mumbai+Rains situation. considering the fact that if it's raining your payload would also be exposed to rains. The covers are still not available from Toyota. Think about it.
