It means "crushed", but it is a slang term for "go to sleep instantly". Think of it like two boxers fighting, and an announcers says "it's nighty night for him!" or "lights out for that guy!" and you get the idea.
People are translating it as "zonked" or "zonked out". Google Translate once seemed to translate it to "fading out", so that may be closer to Pokémon's "whited out" or "blacked out".
