I’ve seen some characters self-destruct, but I never thought Dr. Robotnik would be one of them. You probably were confused for a second when he lost. You had just started a combo. Hahaha.
I know this video is 2 years old but to explain what probably happened, the Satan/Robotnik A.I. has a random glitch, occuring randomly in the Genesis port but more often in the arcade version to where if you build a chain in a specific way, the A.I. will sometimes bug out and stack straight up not knowing how to respond to your chain (The A.I. will respond to your chains by building counter chains most of the time).
Surprise ending! I have never seen that before, not on him. But his voice did sound a little wobbly. Maybe he was on something and thought he was building a tower to heaven or something. 😆
