People say Arle beheading Schezo is scary. Dude, when she was casting Diacute so many times from 4:20 onwards, that was the shit. That Lamia was gonna get fucking nuked out of existence, and putting yourself on the enemy's shoes (Haha, get it? Because she's a lamia, and has no feet) is a lot more scarier in my opinion. That screech was totally justified.
You know, I thought Arle apparently having beheaded people was weird but if she's able to calmly fight zombies at 5 I think Satan's probably barking up the wrong tree. Puyo Puyo Tetris? Sega ought be looking into a Resident Evil crossover.
@@KamiJoJo Sadly Sega owns the rights to the entire Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo franchise (MM characters, Puyo Puyo name), something I wish Compile Heart could get back, and use the characters they created once again. They do own the MM name, but none of the characters in the original series due to Sega owning the Puyo characters.
@@Bloodreign1 Well, strangely enough, Sega toned down the first 3 Madou Monogatari games for the Game Gear (as well as the Sega Genesis version of the first game), and they even omitted the part where Schezo gets beheaded, too😃
@@dreamcorewarlock I think the Game Gear ports will get translated first. There's been a Game Gear translation project going on lately, so that would make the most sense. As to the PC-98 versions - that's not as likely, since PC-98 is not well-known in the West, being a Japan-exclusive computer and all. Still, one can hope.
@@MrBossyful Didn't stop people from translating E.V.O. The Theory of Evolution, which itself a Japan-only PC98 game that was released 2 years before it's more well known SNES game, E.V.O. Search for Eden, so it's safe to assume that someone will translate Madou Monogatari 123 at some point
@@RyukyuShin1997 You'd think with Puyo having 3 games in the US (Pre-Tetris), this would've had a better chance of being translated than EVO. Maybe because this game is so much more text heavy
Nope, that's Nomi the flea. That's why it shows and arrow and the 'ここにいる' text, which means something like 'It's here'. It's a flea, of course you can't see it unless they point it out for you.
You know, it's a good thing Sega toned down the violence when the games were ported to the Game Gear, not to mention they omitted the part where Schezo gets beheaded and then his disembodied head fights back😃
@@megspitzer9406 no, the Game Gear version. Arle finds a grey dessicated husk. Also the illusion looks a bit creepier imo because the kids look like they have empty eyes. Other than these moments, everything is diacute as usual.
The clips where Arle is small is when she was very young (5 years old, during Madou Monogatari 1), whereas she is 16 in the other games (Madou Monogatari 2 and 3).
Seems so surreal comparing Arle here and Arle in present day Puyo Puyo
Puyo is no joke

Resident Puyo or Puyohazard
It's Compile, not SEGA.

Man.. I wish the PC-98 Madou Monogatari games were translated
Same. But they are old and not known by many, so I don't think a translation team creating an english version is happening anytime soon.

I went down the Madou Monogatari and Puyo rabbit hole.
Yet, schezo still survives decapitation and goes after sig's arm
That's only in Puyo Puyo Tetris
ce serait cool un let's play complet de ce jeu, on ne trouve pas beaucoup de gameplay de ce jeu sur youtube.
C'est déjà dur de trouver un patch traduit en anglais

Doppleganger Arle is in this game?
Yes but different from puyo puyo ~n
I really want to play this game translated!!! Maybe one day lol
There are already english translations for Madou 1-2-3, A and Hanamaru Daiyouchi Enji
José Daniel Ledesma yes but only for the Game Gear, I was referring to the PC-98 version which has a number of difference!
