Ghosts 'n Goblins (魔界村 Makaimura, lit. Demon World Village) is a side-scrolling platform game developed by Capcom and released in arcades in 1985. It has since been ported to numerous home platforms. It is the first game in the Ghosts 'n Goblins franchise. It was directed by Tokuro Fujiwara. - เกม
Old school skill shown right there. If you've spent many hours playing this game you really appreciate this magical player. His timing is incredible when there is so little room for manouver.
Idk if this is an actual human playing this......also if you look at the monsters at the end of each respective level in this game they aren’t moving as much as in the real game. That first end level monster for example is just going up and down and no swooping movements on top of the knight.. I have a retro gaming system without joystick and I can’t even pass that first demon because of the side to side and up and down movement of the monster. Almost impossible without a real joystick also.
This is a computerised step analysis gameplay.

I played a lot and couldn't get past the 2:17 part..
you are not a human. i was looking for tips but there are no tips in this game. only a player with pure skills can beat this game. i truly respect you sir.
Shinobi is harder!
@@foreignwarren7361acabe ambos en la época de árcade y este es más difícil

this is TAS 🤣🤣
Unbelievable! I never knew the game designers were so brutal to make you repeat the whole game over to reach the ending. It’s hard enough as it is!!!!
Thank God subsequent games in the franchise, even while keeping the difficulty, added new stuff to the mix like extra armor, the double jump and more.
Couldn't pass even first level in my childhood 😂
Very difficult game for kids tho.
I could make it to the 2nd level on rare occasions. I fell in the water a lot.
I enjoy watching this game more than playing 😂. It's cool to play but watching seems more fun
Same. This game was so hard. Then I played Mike Tyson's Punch Out.
I used to hate it when you finally get the dagger and then you kill an enemy and you accidentally get the fire.
it was good for me as a kid. Dark souls for the OG gamers
My parents probably could have sent me to college with all the quarters I spent playing this game. Absolutely magical though. Could almost smell the round table pizza where this arcade game was located while watching this game play. You know a game is good when you can instantly remember all the levels and game play after 30yrs!
The little game opening music that starts around 00:18 truly is a masterpiece. Play it with the sound at a comfortable level and really pay attention to its complexity.
This guy is my hero! It's simply not possible and yet here it is, totally ruling what is surely the most difficult commonly known platformer of all time. No way in hell would game designers get away with such a ballbreaker these days.
This game was a work of art for it's time. The graphics were beautiful, the way the coins etc change colours to show metalicity. The gameplay was challenging and complex and the musical score was simply wonderful.
One of the greatest games off all time, the scenario was amazing
And me, it is my favourite vidéo game of all times.
He’s I distinctly remember it in arcades in 86 or so......best graphics at that time.
This game, rastan, tiger helli , rushing attack , sky shark my favorite games at 80ss
Yes, it's kind of sad that the horrible NES port ruined its reputation.
@@javierperez-hi8ssrush n attack is kinda good on Nes, extremely popular Konami title in my country. Also for Jackal and Life Force, but Life Force is way too harx
Wow. Much talent and a little luck sprinkled throughout for one of the most difficult games of all time. Well done.
I haven't seen this game played better - and I've been around a long time. I remember this bitch of a game in the arcades. Complete mastery of enemy movement, collision boxes and the timing on that rapid fire in tight spaces is astounding. Bravo.
Can't imagine how many hours he spent to do such perfection

Reminds me of my childhood, what a game and sounds this was.👌
My god this was the hardest game ever made. The end boss is so easy though! It's almost like the devs said, Hey, you made it through everything we threw at ya, so we'll make the last boss easy for ya so you can see the ending......as long as you can do it all again one more time :)
The best I've ever seen and I've been playing this game for 35 years.
I never got out of the graveyard but I’ve always loved anything scary, so I hassled my friend down the street to play it.
I love this game. I love Tokuro Fujiwara games.
The dude is a legend.
I've played other games such as Tombi, Commando, Bionic Commando, Pirate Ship Higemaru and Ghosts 'N Goblins Resurrection.
I distinctly remember making it to Level 5, the first floor of Satan’s castle on one quarter in the arcade. I must’ve been 10 years old. A group of older kids who frequented that 7-11 came in while I was playing and asked how I managed to get “that far”. It was all me, but they refused to believe me, thinking I had continued from a previous player. Damnit…lol.
Caramba!!
Other than the one hit at the end right before the final boss, this was a perfect game
back in the late 80s my near on whole school in australia would be waiting out side the local fish and chip shop waiting to play ghost and goblins, loved it.... still have it on my ps4 and play it evey now and then.
Astoundingly good gameplay in one of the most difficult arcade games of them all. Well done my friend, very well played.
The laundromat we used to go to had this and Arkanoid back around 1989-90. I used to play it alot. I miss the days when these machines were everywhere.
bro you a god dam legend. Salute brother. Show me the ways of the jedi
Way to go! My brother and me never made it to the final boss, probably cuz, of course accidentally getting fireballs. We both loved the knives since so fast. Also we sneaked up. My brother has gone and passed. Was still awesome to see. Thank you❤
My condolences on your loss, cherrish those wonderful memories.
Best intro theme EVER!!!! I pumps you up. @0:16
Happy to finally see the ending. Hated that second tower and the bloody shield
The way this video makes it seem so easy, it's both infuriating and astonishing at the same time. It's truly incredible to see that Ghost 'n Goblins can be played like this. You can believe the words of a fifty-year-old: many many years ago I put many many coins in and never finished the game completely. By the way, thanks for finally showing me what happens in the end, I've been waiting to know for 36 years 👍
This game kept me up many nights, still never conquered it, This is a challenge ,👻💀☠🖤🖤🖤
I seem to recall always going with the throwing knife over the javelin because of speed, but, javelin appears to have more damage. Good run
Astonishingly brilliant gameplay, I played this game all the time in the arcade and got nowhere, bravo!
My public school had a Commodore 64 in the late 80s. I would stay after class and play this for hours using the keyboard as a controller. Once my mom came to the school looking for me as she was worried I never made it home and it was getting late.
Those red bastard gargolye are unpredictable little buggers at times
I remember in the 90s there were some arcade machines in front of my school with this wonderful game I was watching others as they passed the game simply wonderful
Perfect play! Good job!
I had a Ghosts n Goblins arcade machine in the early 90s.
I sold it for a hundred bucks. :'(
That buyer definitely got his money’s worth.
Love his game I always played the arcade and Nes version is too. It's Better that the commodore versions. Bring back childhood memories love it.
It’s a shame Capcom let Micronics do the NES port. If Capcom would have done it themselves, the nes port would have been a lot better
@@Mansini77hear you my friend.
Hell of a game! If i think of all platinums I got in the souls serie and in ghost and goblins I couldn't pass even the third stage.. Lol
Those opening notes from the start of each round engrained in memory from having to start over so many times in the arcade lol so many quarters spent 😂
Congratulazioni, senza vite perse💪
Fantastic
Very nice, Master👍
wow que lindo recuerdo nice memory!!!
Brutal game, good job.
This is awesome
AMAZING sound design.
A+ level player. You have skills!
Could be the greatest thing I've ever seen
Bro. You are a god. I couldn't pass the 1st level when i was a kid and there's no way im giving it a go now at 45yo lol
I remember the kids from around my old way in The Bronx playing this game. Although this was my favorite to watch, I never got to play it. The other games: Hang On, Pole Position and Ms. Pac-Man and Pacmania, I got to experience them. Out run and the pedes became my favorites
To this day I have only witnessed this game being beat on an emulator. Never did I see anybody get passed two levels on the arcade cabinet with joystick. Greatest quarter hog of all time.
So many quarters spent trying to make it past the first level.
I still remember the Xmas me and my brothers got this game, I was in the 5th grade!!
I loved this game, but it was just too damn difficult. Only rare super experts were able to get to the end.
Epic!
Muito top
It made you go all the way back to the beginning...holy hell. I would've raged
17:20 You have to beat the game twice? .... 😤 You have to beat the game twice? ...
Hehe. Classic episode by the Nerd.
this used to be the loudest game in every arcade.
Never made it to the last round. You definitely have the skills 👍👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤forever 80's
One of the toughest games ever made.
after many years i finally found it my childhood now i know the title
Insane. How long have you been playing this game?? Wow!
Memories of an easy going childhood....
I miss this game.
Gran juego
"This game isn't hard enough, what can we do?"
"Make them play all the levels again."
"Ok, Satan."
"Exactly."
😮 at the 9:49 mark, I was like " whoa, look at all you had been through" knowing you have like 20 more minutes of this madness to conquer..... unbelievable gameplay.
I barely got to lvl 3 as a kid in the 80s on NES
I got to the “end” one night in college while drunk.
I was SO MAD when I had to replay it.
WoW👏👏
"Congratulation! This story is happy end."
That got past QA-control, because none of the testers reached the end.
Wow! 👏
Even with the rewind feature on steam, i could only make it to the two flying bats just before the last boss (on the first run)... you must be a wizard or youve been playing this every day since 1988? I mean this game is beyond hard w/time limits
Hahahaha i also can reached at that point with using same feature my story is same to use
🎼🎵🎶"He's a pinball wizard/There has to be a twist..."🎵🎶
Yeah, thanks to save states on emulators I could make it to the third stage, but got stuck at the last red devil. One of the damnedest enemies ever programmed!
Of all the 1980s video games that put you through scream-inducing bullshit and "screw yous", this one really takes the taco.
I’ve just 1CC’d this game for the first time ever after years of gameplay. I scored 889,900 (using various point building areas not used here), but I still don’t play the game half as well as this was. And I still require a little bit of luck to get past the Satans! I’m getting there but can’t quite figure out their patterns

😊
Bring so much memories back to my kid days.. i would never pass the first round. Lol
This game was super fun but super hard. I miss these days
Jeu très difficile c était mon enfance
Very very difficult game i ever play
It reminds me how were alone that whole time....from years awaited through on out orders♥️
That was my childhood life after classes.
THAT WAS ALMOST A PERFECT RUN
Самая сложнейшая игра на денди)которую я когда либо видел😨прохождение)высший пилотаж💪👍👍🙏
I remember this game been removed so quickly from the small arcades back then cause it was so hard and noone would spend much on it lol.
The memories.
I did defeat the final bosses first time round but when they said do it with shields i thought that was me having completed it and the reward is to keep playing. Never even know that the ending was different when you do it with the shields.
Capolavoro
Insane. This game is sooo frickin difficult
congrats player
the best play of my childhood!!! yeeeaaaa how many afternoon in the caffe playing this arcade with just little of money
I finally beat this damn game on both loops - I eventually got a pretty good feel for how to deal with the Satan bosses, and it pretty much involved jumping a lot, so that they did their stupid swoop attack a bit above Arthur, and then juggling them back and forth like that, and maybe climbing down the ladder at some point if they got down too low.
taito and capcom, thank you for importing this brutal game and murdrring ppl's innocent souls into Darker Souls
Bons tempos 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Resolve your battle!
Congratulation. This story is happy end.
This game scared me so badly😂😂
Just bought the replicade of this. Played it in the arcades when it was first released. I still can't get past the first boss. 🤣
I remembered this joint I’ve played in game salon!
Ese verg3s es mi ídolo 👹♥️👍🏻☑️🕹️
