You’re wasting NO time! I love it. Lol Yeah man, that Analog endeavors switch is a life saver! It just makes everything so much smoother. I’d highly recommend checking out one of @WorshipTutorials presets! It’s a great introduction to beautiful amp tones and IRs! Keep it up brotha ✊🏼

It quickly replaced both my Strymon Bigsky AND my Boss DD500. It’s amazing what this thing can do, Dave. Do you have any questions about it that I can answer before buying it?
Thanks for the reply... I have done some extensive research between this and of coarse the new Strymon and it really comes down to the users needs. So your situation is very similar to mine where I also needed to replace my Dd20’and I had two reverbs including a HOF2 and a Blue Sky. So it only did your review help answer questions about the reverb tones but also the use of an additional drive if needed. keep up the good work and thanks again for the communication. Dave

Yeah, the “Baby Midi” by Disaster Area is the one I was thinking of!! Super simple and you can actually do a lot with it. Im thinking about getting it for myself too! Lol
Hello Drew, Have you considered Iridium + HX Effects? I’m planning on a direct ready board with a Bloom -> Benson Preamp -> HX Effects (Iridium in a loop) -> FOH I think it will solve the limitations you’re facing with the HX Stomp.
I have!! Honestly the iridium seems like an almost perfect setup for that. That’s genius to run it in the loop. I love the clarity that I’m getting running all my wet effects post amp. I’ve seen the HX Effects in person but I can’t remember the size, isn’t it a little on the big side?
Drew’s Tone Talk it definitely is a little big. It’s as tall as a pedal train metro board and about a big sky and a half wide so it’s quite hefty. However pairing it with an iridium would still be considered a compact rig, not to mention you would still have 8 blocks available inside the HX effects and access to 4 snapshots.
By the way, I know you mentioned you were going to make a video talking about why use the compressor and the benson preamp, I was curious as to how you use both pedals as always on and what for By the way, I really dig the channel and hope to see more content and your channel growing - I can see the heart and passion you put into what you do.

Great Idea! I’ve considered adding a Cab IR loader so I could run an Amp on my HX stomp then to stereo delay/reverb then run cab Ir’s external. Check out a couple of my comparison videos on the HX with real amps. The HX stacks up really well!
How do you run the chain? Ive been using one block to add the volume pedal and a reverb into the mix but I'm looking for other ways since I'm using a dual switch to change snapshots
I found a way to adjust Bpm without tap tempo assigned switch..it is under Global settings. We should send a vid to Line 6 this is really helpful will pop you a couple of pics where to find it if helps. Maybe you can post something in one of your vids.

I’ve been trying to learn the bias amp 2 and bias fx 2 but man I’m technologically illiterate and I’m 50 years old and kinda lazy now and I’m trying to do it from my I-phone and headphones.
You’re right, it is limited to three snapshots. Back when I first got it, I wasn’t aware of that! I’m interested to see if using a midi controller would unlock access to more snapshots though?! 🤔
No problem! If youre not going to get an aid switcher than there are some midi controllers that are even more powerful that you can connect to the HX stomp!
Got you. ✊🏼 The two switches operate off a single TRS or TRS to Ts/Ts cable depending on how you plan on using it. Let me know if you have any other questions, I’m happy to help out!
Also do you have any idea on how to set bpm when all foot switches assigned to something else so basically I don’t used tuner or tap tempo. I did email Line 6 but their answer was not clear. They basically told me to buy the LT 😂😂😂😂

The tap tempo though... you’d have to pre-program the tempos via the editor for your presets before hand OR Get an external AUX Switch and map the tap tempo/Tuner to it. Do you have an six switch yet?
Yeah this is the challenge I have with the tap Tempo bpm is that I do Pre program but we at times especially in our church environment might sometimes decide to change the BPM and basically without an external pedal which is already assigned to another function I cannot change this without plugging my computer in am I correct? Looking forward to you next video
So, I’ve ran into this problem before at my own church. Lol Thinking on the spot right now, the easiest solution I can think of would be getting a single button midi controller and having it send tap tempo regardless of what mode your in.
Dave Imrie the Jet micro is also one that you can check out! It’s a three button midi controller about the size of the poly tune mini. Because it’s midi you can still have the six switch do what it’s already doing. Just a thought!

I completely understand what you mean. Lol There’s so many avenues of approach. The hard part is finding which one to take! Just keep grinding, you’ll find your way, no problem. So glad you’re loving it!
Drew’s Tone Talk I think what I am working out is how to use this in different environments without having to spend hours setting it up for example this week at my home church we have a sound room for the Fender Deville so I don’t need to use the built in amps and effectively I use it as a Pre set per song mainly for delays and verb as the balance of my board covers the drive and other ambient tones. I did hook it up this morning in the 4 cable method but after that I realized for my setting this too is not needed. So yes we carry on tweaking and finding new tones. I am enjoying the journey. I built a small TRS cable too and tomorrow I might just try direct out to the desk with the Matchless amp and IR I have set up...
Hey Esteban! Yes you do. In fact, there’s a couple different options as far as what you can see on the screen. You can see all of your blocks displayed with the title of your preset being shown in a smaller text, you can have the title of your preset be larger and the blocks be smaller (there’s a couple slight variations available for this viewing option too), or you can have the list of presets take up the screen. I prefer to have the blocks take up most of the screen that way I can tell which blocks are or aren’t engaged! Hope that helps!
That’s exactly how I was using it, and I just recently removed my poly tune off the board so I had to figure that out too! Lol You press the “Page ->” and “Action” button at the same time. That’ll instantly access your tuner! Tap any foot switch on the Stomp and it’ll exit out. Not as easy as just pressing a footswitch but after doing it this way for a couple weeks now, it’s not that bad!
I totally agree! I think the reason they didn’t make it more powerful is because it would nearly completely eliminate the need for the Helix LT and for so much less. Are you using the stomp??

Hahaha You’re right about that. 😂 I try to make it look like I’m “on-the-fly tweaking” my gear, but there’s no real cool way to activate a Tuner. 😅😂😂😂
