Gliscor’s a Pokémon where you can pretty much do whatever you want, and it’ll be good. You can have it be a hazard lead, you can have it be a staller, or my personal favorite, you can have it be a Swords Dance sweeper with good STABs and a bonus coverage of something like Aqua Tail, U-Turn, Stone Edge, or even Facade. This mon is gonna do great things this Gen, just as always
Gliscor coming back was nice! This thing was a problem in earlier Gens, so I'm actually glad it lost Roost. I saw a stall set that ran Substitute, Fling, Roost, and Earthquake. Giving it Toxic Spikes will make it better at setting & keeping hazards, better than Fling or Toxic. Swords Dance is also a critical move on Gliscor sets so I'm glad that got mentioned. Nice coverage video on a total monster.

I wonder if mons like Scizor and Gliscor will regain Roost again at some point. I hope so because (at least for Gliscor) it would make perfect sense also 210BP Facade truly slaps
Yeah, it got really nice stuff. Both spikes and Scale Shot are a great addition. No roost though. That's very unfortunate. Relying on Toxic Heal to stay healthy may not be optimal.

please do a video about gallarian weezing. I believe that this pokemon may be more relevant this generation compared to the past generations thanks to the neutralizing gas ability. if this pokemon switches to gliscor, gliscor will get the toxic damage based on how many turns it has stayed on the field without switching (if it stays of 15 turns it will take 15/16 of its health as damage, which is the maximum damage a badly healed pokemon can take). it is also able of using defog without having to worry about gholdengo.(the only other pokemon that can do that is hawlucha which is pretty fragile and not that powerful). it may occasionally prevent pelliper torkoal and ninetails alola from setting up rain sun and snow with their abilities, but it needs to be on the field at the same time as they are. it can safely set hazards without being scared of hatterenne bouncing them back. it can cause gholdengo and garganacl to be burned(garganacl can even be poisoned with toxic) and cause clefable to receive damage from either toxic or burn, and hazards. it can taunt gholdengo(I am not sure if that's a good idea, but it is possible). it takes less damage from samurot and azumaril. it can prevent toxapex regenerator users from getting free healing if they switch out. I don't think that it is ever going to see enough play to make it to OU, but it is always going to have a niche there.
Toxic spikes are really mid with all the good poison types available and corviknight getting more popular and completely unthreatened by gliscor, the most common set is actually eq, regular toxic(it hits the target in front of you and guaranteed toxics it instead of potentially regular poisoning it), protect, and filler(depending on your team's needs either knock off or one of the other hazards, stealth rock if you don't already have a user otherwise regular spikes for their spammability), I've played with and against a lot of gliscor and only saw one tspikes that I just spun away with alolan sandslash. Basically if you really want toxic spikes run glimmora otherwise run more consistent hazards and status and you'll do great.
Try the following set then: Ability: Toxic Heal Item: Toxic Orb Nature: Jolly EVs: (HP 252) (Def 4) (Speed 252) Moves: Toxic, Substitute, Protect, Earthquake Thanks to Toxic Heal's 1/8 recovery each turn, if you alternate between using Substitute and Protect you can stall indefinitely with no HP loss while Toxic steadily takes out your opponent. So long as you move faster than your opponent and they do not have access to Taunt or sound based moves they won't be able to hurt you. And Earthquake is there to handle the Poison and Steel types immune to Toxic.
