    Ich habe zwischen 1976 und 1995 diesen Kampfanzug regelmässig, tagtäglich getragen. Was er da zeigt ist nur ein Bruchteil dessen was es da eigentlich so alles gibt. Hose, Jacke, zusätzlicher Rucksack, Regen-Pelerine, das alles gehört dazu. In der Jacke konnte man die Gamelle, Feldflasche, Pelerine, 4 Magazine à jeweils 24 Schuss verstauen und vieles was man sonst so noch gebraucht hat. Vorrichtungen für einen Klapp-Spaten, sowie zwei Gewehrgranaten gehörten auch dazu. Dieser Kampfanzug war wirklich sehr vielseitig, bequem und vor allem im Herbst sehr gut was die Tarnung anbelangt.

      Thanks for your comment. Indeed, the jacked is a great piece of gear. Let alone the fact that material damage won't hurt anyone given the cheap price. Chapeau to the Swiss mountaineers.

      Thanks for the comment, Todd. I do prefer modern materials to be honest - old gear might be sturdy, but usually breathability and such suffer from that.

    Mit diesem Kampfanzug habe ich den grössten Teil meiner Militärzeit von 1976 bis 1995 verbracht. Das Ding ist bequem und vielseitig nutzbar. PS: Man kann sogar damit Schlafen im Schlafsack. Die Leute die das für uns entworfen haben, haben sich dabei was gedacht und gut umgesetzt.

      Danke für den Kommentar und zunächst sorry für die etwas späte Antwort - genau zu dem Zeitpunkt hatte ich den Motorradunfall (siehe Community-Postings auf dem Kanal) und komme erst jetzt zum antworten.
      Ich nutze den Parka mittlerweile hauptsächlich für Arbeiten draußen und das Teil geht einfach nicht kaputt. Für die rauhen Arbeiten auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

    Swiss made stuff is designed to last a lifetime and then some! Whether it be watches,clocks,victorinox pocket knives,etc. Everything is made with expert craftsmanship and meticulously designed with the user's need in mind.quite oppisite to the cheap mass produced sub standard stuff we get these days. I used to own one of these jackets and its perfect for bushcrafting and other outdoor activities.just bear in mind that its a bit heavy but other than that its a a winner.so get one while you can.

    I have one of these jacket as well, and I must say it is awesome!!! I get tons of comments and enquires about it. Most of them are from women. Just recently I picked up three more jackets. One of them was in good shape and the other two were not so good shape. I had a tailor removed the pockets from the two jackets, and had them put on the good jacket. Now I have a awesome survival jacket that isn't too heavy to wear, and wasn't too heavy on my wallet as well.

    My father bought this for me at the thrift store because he knew I would love the camouflage pattern. Sadly I felt bad when I realized he payed $50 for it. I love the jacket and I can't wait to try and figure out what gear I should get for it. because of all the pockets I can't find a nice tactical rig to match it. I always thought the big ass pocket in the back was for some sort of armor plate to go inside for your back lol.

    • @RathwulvenBushcraft
      @RathwulvenBushcraft  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      50 USD is quite a high price indeed. But still the jacket will last a lifetime, it's incredible what they can take.
      Maybe you can combine that with the Bundeswehr Koppel-Tragegestell (the German rig)?

    • @xXfestusXx04
      @xXfestusXx04 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know it’s late and you might already know this, but the pockets are actually what makes the combat rig. The chest pockets are for rifle magazines, three back pockets are for cooking/mess kit, front pockets are for grenades and canteen, and the arm pockets for first aid. Also the clip on the chest is meant for helmets

      EVENTHOR if you watch vids on camouflage tests it surprisingly blends in very well, apparently the red being in the mixture with the green and tan makes it even more of an autumn camo when you're far away, green and red mixed makes more brown, it's an illusion in the human eye that makes the red look like more brown clustered with the other foresty colors, it's very weird, but it surprisingly works pretty good, the Swiss definitely did their homework when they made it.

    I completely understand it's a well made jacket, but I'm getting sick of the fanboys on this one saying the red is good camouflage.
    Even the Swiss themselves replaced it.
    Took the red right out of there.

      I would say that’s what makes it such an effective fall camouflage, but for the other 3 seasons I would agree that it isn’t the best

      For f*** sakes.
      It sucks okay.
      that's why they took the red out of it.
      sucks it sucks it sucks.
      Stop defending this pile of s***.
      but thank you for responding to me anyway.
      It really does suck this camouflage was available to us when I was a 13-year-old in droves for next to nothing.... we would play around and test the camouflage of various different patterns that were available and this one was a pile of s***.
      Sorry stop saying it's good it sucks.
      But one thing I will give it it's built very very well stands up to anything.

    Is it to thick for hot climate?

      Thanks for your comment - I assume you mean summer temperatures at some 25 Celsius or plus, right? Then the jacket is indeed too thick in my opinion. Some don't have issues as the cut is very loose, but if you're like me and you tend to overheat relatively quickly, you might want to leave it at home and just use it from autumn until the end of spring.

    А курточка не по размеру...рукава коротковаты!!!! В России куртки М - 70 продают редко,а штаны только старые и очень рваные!

      Privjet Andrej - my Russian is a bit dusty so I had to translate that. But you are right, the sleeves are indeed pretty short.

    Lmao this is a child's toy compared to the German KSK smocks
    The pocket on the back of the smock alone is large enough to fit 5l of water, then on the front (excluding the arm pockets) you have 4 huge pockets that each fit 1-2l. Also behind those pockets are spots for like big maps etc. that reach all the way to your shoulders.

      Well both items are anything but comparable. The BW KSK Smock is a rather modern product - the M70 is from the 60s. Hence the attractive prices at the dump.
