Many are calling this an SUV, but I'm not so sure. Whilst it does have increased right height and more practicality than any Ferrari before it... it is still well and truly a supercar.

Very true... I wonder why many car manufacturers still invite many of these clowns - arrogant, bad jokes, cannot drive, mediocre camera work and often with a smaller audience.
2/3 of the reviewers can easily be dropped and would make it actually better for the brand.

what an absolutely fantastic video. so nice seeing you and Tim just chatting away but more importantly THOSE SHOTS halfway through the video, honestly some of the most memorable i've ever seen on TH-cam- rewound it three times. how you manage to inject this much energy and creativity whilst balancing all your other priorities one can only imagine, but please do keep it up Sam 👏🏼
Your specific videos are SUPERB. I really appreciate the scenery (town views, aerial views, mountains, trees, etc.), it REALLY brings you to the area you’re driving around!! This really separates your videos from the others, and it’s MUCH appreciated.

The Purosangue is a really cool "not" SUV. It's the perfect car that you want in a daily practical but fun car. Too bad is too expensive.

No NAV is good until you loose reception on your phone and then you're upcreek without a paddle. And, yes, you can pre-download parts of the maps for offline use, it doesn't have live info

Fantastic video Sam. Actually the first one I watched of the dozens that just appeared from this event. Great to have Tim and Puppi with you. You delivered in style what I expected from you and it worked. You captured the sense of it and the feeling it would evoke. Tim will no doubt nerd out and give a most competent analysis of it with the benefit of having owned several comparable cars.
I got very excited about the car through this video. I love well engineered cars that drive well and have a great sound. But I have no interest in owning a hard core Lambo or even and R8 as they are too hard to get into and too compromised for daily driving. If I had the cash, this might be my supercar.
I really wish all young people in the UK were as civil and as eloquent as these two young men. Well done.

Nailed it Sam, watched most the reviews and that was by far the best and some spectacular scenery shots thrown in for good measure. So my question would be new Range Rover and 296 or that?
Nobody can question your enthusiasm for the car or the Italian mini-adventure. I like your summation of what the car is too, not an SUV but more of a grown up car that you can take the family with you. Even if I didn't know that Ferrari have already sold out two year's worth of production and aren't taking orders, I'd say they've got a hit on their hands.

The point of this car was that four adults could comfortably experience the sound of that glorious Ferrari V-12. We are coming to the end of normally-aspirated V-12's. Ferrari needed to do this now before everything goes electric. Ferrari nailed The styling, it looks absolutely stunning.

Can I politely disagree on what you and Tim say about car manufacturers having to leave the Stock satnav out because nobody uses them?
My cellphone contract only covers certain countries in the EU for the same financial charge, if I pass through Switserland or Croatia for instance I immediately turn off my mobile internet otherwise the costs go up pretty quickly.
So it’s a good thing for me to then still have the navigation from the manufacture (which I use regularly anyway to be honest as I don’t always connect my phone)
Not all people live through every function on their phones constantly
Sam is my favourite of the original 3 London car spotters, and the only one who's videos I still watch.

I think that's near Madonna di Campiglio (I'm only a few minutes in). And those roads were a blast in my diesel Fiesta, when I worked in that area, so I imagine they were great fun in that. The lack of nav would be a bit of an issue if you're in an area with no reception though. Probably won't be a problem in Chelsea though!

Sam No one in then auto motive industry has better cinematic than you do.. saying that only cause ... its not about transitions and banger music .. its about then cleanest shot possible .. bringing together the objective of the video and the experience of the surrounding and the car!! keep it up.... been following you for more than 8 years now since the alpha 4C days

Only bad thing about only having navigation on your phone is that you're very likely to loose it when driving through a tunnel or where there's really bad reception
Or if you're travelling around Europe and don't have data roaming. Then again if you're spending £400k on a car it's likely the extra costs won't be much of an issue.
It’s a terrible option, I’ve experienced it before when we went skiing. We had no signal so also had no sat nav.
There are back up alternatives, I have "Here We Go" installed on my phone it allows you download maps to your handset and they are broken down into countries and regions so you can just have the area's you need.
You know you can download a fairly big map to use while offline on Google Maps right?
