The 2024 Ferrari Purosangue (US$400,000, ~CAD$500,000) is the first four-door, four-seater to ever come out of the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy. A ferocious naturally-aspirated V12 sits up front-mid, creating 715 horsepower with a stunning 8250 rpm redline. It also has a unique active suspension system that Ferrari claims is a world first, and a trans-axle transmission layout to help achieve its target 49:51% weight distribution. But all that tech, power, and cabin room seems to weigh a lot.
Can the engineering and chassis overcome the Purosangue’s size and weight to still provide a signature Ferrari experience? My hopes of seeing Margot in this video were sky high for about 10 seconds before my expectations were blown away completely by James.
You just have to do what the rest of the crew did that evening: drink enough wine and he'll be a good enough Margot Robbie to be happily "blown away"

I can't imagine hitting the backroads running against the competition cars and having to stop so your $400,000 car can cool down as they leave you behind.
There are some pretty backroads in Northern Norway or Alaska, right? 😉
Even with that aside..... 400k (before options) for an SUV that WILL NOT outrun a Urus Perf or a Cayenne GT in the twistys or on a Swiss ski slope, that also have the same practicality as the rari, and are way less money is silly to me. This whole "youre paying to join the Ferrari family, and that is priceless" BS needs to stop. Cool car but i hate that the GTC4/FF lineage had to die for this.... and 400k for a crossover is insane.
@Fastvoice it will absolutely demolish both a Urus P and a Cayenne GT. Everybody that tested it said it's a lot faster and better handling than both

I used to work at the Lamborghini factory in 1992-1993, if I had the money to buy this Ferrari I'd strip away the Ferrari logos and put Mazda logos on it and drive it around, however, I'd only drive it during winter time so it doesn't overheat.
When I worked at Lamborghini I noticed that employees from Ferrari would quit Ferrari and come work for Lamborghini, there were also Lamborghini employees that would quit and go work for Ferrari, and some of the mechanics would quit Lamborghini and Ferrari and go to work for Ducati.

You’re production value on these videos are so good.
Great video. One correction - the valve covers aren't anodized. They're just painted with a wrinkle finish. Anodizing is smooth and looks completely different...

Actually I’m glad Lamborghinu didn’t put a V12 on the Urus that would’ve make it more expensive and exclusive, and that what’s not Lamborghini’s intention, it became the best seller and the V8 twin turbo is a big reason for that.

I think I have figured out why I enjoy these videos so much and why I find thm special compared to other car review channels. Not only are they informative and quite comical, but they are endearing and heart-warming as well. U watch as these 2 seamlessly joke around the entire review, but realize u are also getting information. These 2 have great chemistry together and are lucky to have found each other. Outside temperature +33 to +36 C, twisty mountain road, dynamic driving. Not something to be experienced for the first time, I mean in other cars. What shocked me is the warning light for high oil temperature (5:48), which, obviously, preceded the high coolant temperature warning, twice. So, if you have one of these, stay away from the twisty mountain roads in the summer, be gentle to the throttle pedal, or at least, turn off AC and open windows. Any other surprises & warning & limitations for $400,000?

Feel the need to clarify, I'm being genuine. In-video ads are far superior to midrolls not only for viewer experience but creator revenue. Yt isn't taking a cut and the advertisers pay more and the creator can choose what to endorse. I want the guys to make money for themselves and to reinvest in the show.

This car seems really impractical with the V-12 it weighs 4800 pounds and it does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and it overheated plus he said you really feel the weight of the car when you brake.
The Cadillac CT5 Black wing is just as fast with a V-8 engine and I bet it wouldn't overheat .
It handles really well also.
I am not comparing the expensiveness of the Ferrari build with Cadillac of course Ferrari uses the finest leather and the stereo is probably incredible,but if you were to compare the Cadillac CT5 Black wing with this car putting both through the same paces you probably wouldn't think the Ferrari is worth $300,000 more than the Black wing and the Black wings gas mileage is alot better too and it won't overheat either.
The 787 has electrochromic windows, not the 777 (although the updated version, the 777X, yet to enter service, will also have these).

They definitely had to put a V12 in it so people will complain less. I bet the next one will be a turbo hybrid V6 or V8

wonderful report as always, guys!! The sound of this Mazda, well: too loud to be cruisy-good for me. the PILOTIs are cool! Margot, come again? Dam'n, kept watching this report, and now I want one, in this blue with a whitish spec on the interior.
Exhaust note was not close but up there with the LFA… she sounded sweet . Those down shifts were sic.
