noir - pearl - alicias keys - spotlight piano.
the only 4 pianos i need in my productions!!
Noire is my go to piano
Very good video. Great choices of musical pieces and piano libraries. I watched the video 3 times because it is so interesting to hear the differences. At the top of my list are Bechstein and Mercury. The runner up is the Black Grand.
Also, it's so cool the Freddies piano got sampled.
Hammersmith Pro is the best. After this, wavesfactory mercury is very close. All the others are not that good for classical music. This was a great comparison, thank you very much for sharing this great samples.
Noire is also great
Thanks for the comparison. I wish there were Production Voices Concert Grand and Simple Sam Samples Signature Grandes included as well.
Yeah, Production Voices libraries are the best. I wish 300 Grand was included, but the Kontakt version was not released when the video came out.
Fazioli... also available in UI Labs and UVI and Italian Grand and F Grand... did you try the Ravenscroft 275 from UI Labs? So far it is one of the best I have tried... other ones I found at top are Pianoteq K2 and Bechstein
are you not a fan of Pianoteq? by the way... having the Chopin gives a nice comparison because I guess many users are familiar with it... do you think you can do Moonlight Sonata and Chopin Waltz in A Minor in the future?
I also think that your piano VST comparisons should include Pianoteq (and VSL)
only Noir piano is quite real
I wonder why C7 sounds better than CFIIIS and close to as good as CFX... the 8DIO and Keyscape C7 both sound pretty good
buying a $2400 VPC1 and then $1500 VSTs probably is more fun than buy a CLP-745 huh?
CLP-745 sucks ass
8dio wins
