I'm a diy er, and this scanner is perfect for me. I've had my 97 ford f150 4.2 liter for 16 years, and without this, I'd be chasing my tail trying to diagnose stuff with an old actron cp9125. Well worth $160

D8 Bluetooth has some definite problems.2006 tundra Would not read systems except engine. Live data tried to graph o2 or air fuel sensers would lock up and return to home screen. Had xtool remote into scanner while hooked up and haven't heard anything from them after a week. If I graphed o2 by itself it only has 12 volt and 20 volt graph. Not impressed retired Toyota tech
You're not telling everyone about the things that are not working with this tool?????? You know there are problems. I hope you don't sellout your viewers over some free scan tools. The channel won't make it if you do that buddy.
I am in constant contact with Xtool, and have had great results with their D8 scanner. This is a budget entry level scanner. Xtool is constantly updating and improving their scan tool, hence the lifetime updates. I hope this helps! We did have the one minor hiccup but other than that it’s been working great for us
@@SEsGarage I've just got the A30M. I have a 2010 civic 5 door hatch r18a2 engine. The scanner doesn't do most of the special functions that supposed to work on this car and it can't do anything with the abs system complete errors show up on my dash and the scanner says there is a problem but i know there isn't. It also shows wrong live data. Car is not moving but wheel speed sensor is showing 14000kms on one wheel 30 on another and 0 on the rest. I wm gonna email support and see what they can do about it. I'm also wondering if this will be a continuous problem for other vehical brands if so the to much work to get it right. I have covid now but will do extensive testing in a few days. Since you have a good relationship with xtool then maybe ask them whats up with all these faults. I haf a lot of hope for there products but now I'm very disapointed. I'm an advanced diy mechanic and an I.T professional so i know my way around these gadgets. Keep up the work buddy, i watch your videos all the time. You have my support and i hope the channel grows fast. 😉
Can you be more specific about what does not work with this scanner? I got this scan tool as a Christmas gift and I have had no issues with it. The main thing I use is live data to monitor LTFT and STFT and O2 sensor data. So far so good. Thanks!
