Can I connect my Active speaker to JBL 110 with these cable , because my active speaker only got this RCA port..
I am trying to provide sound from a music channel by way of my cable tv provider on my tv. I have two speakers permanently installed on my patio around my pool. If I purchase a digital to analog audio converter will it work or must I purchase a stereo receiver also
If those speakers are power speakers, as in they are self powered, then the converter alone should do the trick. If those speakers don’t connect to power, then they are passive speakers and do need the assistance of a stereo receiver to work.
Is there a difference in sound quality between rca and 20-pin headunit connector in a car stereo?
I just want to connect my woofer to laptop. Tell me which cable I should purchase cuz I know nothing about rca or 3.5mm etc
This should do the trick: amzn.to/3dDXYSM - so long as you woofer has RCA ports.
I through each speaker needed both a red and white rca Cable
Old passive (unpowered/no built in amplifier) speakers use single RCA cables each, but modern sound systems use rca to deliver the audio signal from one component to another, usually from a mixer to an amplifier, which are stereo requiring 2 rca cables bundled in one.
On another note, for karaoke sound systems usually, the third RCA cable is separate and is used to transfer visual signal from a karaoke DVD player to a TV or projector. The red and white is usually for audio and the yellow one is for the visuals, so you will see mostly red and white RCA cables because they are a small and compact cable to transfer audio from one component to another in a sound system.
I used to have a 2.1 speaker, 2.1 meaning 2 mid frequency or high frequency speakers and 1 low freuqency speaker. It used RCA connectors to connect the little passive speakers to the powered subwoofer. I miss those little guys lol, they were small but could fill a large room with music.
