Thank you so much for making this video I really needed someone to explain what all these different cables are! I can't believe this video only has a couple thousand views - this is very well made and deserves a lot more attention!
Alsp twin lead hehe.. an dvi for spme hd tv sets prior to hdmi but after 2001ish so up to about 2004 when hdmi came out, "control s"/"S-link" for controlling more than one device with a single infrared remote commander
This is good knowledge🙂👍simple video and easy to understand for everyone.. i mean i was millenial and i know i was grew up with almost all that tv inputs.. but to next alpha gen they might not easily to understand old things that we take for granted since we grew up with it.. and this is just the good way to explain how old tech works.. you need to do more man.. this is such good educational content🙂👍
But the thing is that some countries like the UK don’t use the screw on coaxial cable but use the plug in IEC antenna cable instead for the RF In and RF Out ports
I know there is HDMI but some computers are better off using VGA to connect to the tv because it is meant for computers and also you won’t encounter the screen that had shrunk or zoomed in on older tvs that do support hdmi that don’t have a setting for just scan
I cannot find a HDMI OUT on my RCA Smart TV..they are all IN HDMI. I want to use a 2nd TV or do my HDMI have both in and out in the cable and smart TV? So far no 2nd TV not working.
Most newer TVs do not have video outputs. You can use an HDMI splitter to connect one device to two TVs. Connect the input of the splitter to your video source, and then connect each TV to one of the outputs on the splitter.

Glad I could help!

Thanks for the kind words!
I use RF, HDMI, and AV
Im thinking about using component for my VCR instead of AV

Great video. What TV are you using and would you recommend it for gaming with Original Xbox/Wii (component) and Xbox 360/PS3 (HDMI)?
The tv in the video is my old Sony kdl40ex600. Takes inputs from all 3 systems you mentioned.

Wait why do some rptv sets actuallyhave 7 component input holes one saying h and the other v but have it called colorstream/bitstream etc?
