I would love more videos like these. They are still comprehensive reviews about new-ish and popular products and I'm in the market right now. They're just practical and helpful for some of us when our foundations randomly stop existing or working haha Great work as always!

I live in East Texas- last summer was one of our hottest ever recorded and I was full term pregnant. I work in marketing where I’m in and out of my car all day- the Maybelline SuperStay never dripped, came off with sweat… it stayed so well!
Good to know! Thank you for sharing your experience. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, so I have a hard time planning what to wear when I travel during the summer to places with high humidity. I might be going to New Orleans in August, so I definitely need a high heat, high humidity foundation. At the age of 62, I still have some hot flashes, as well, so that doesn't help. It's not as bad as being pregnant, because the hot flashes come and go, but it can still be very unpleasant.
I agree with the Super Stay. I love it.

@@PWatts-ff2fdI live in the high humidity of the mid Atlantic and im just starting peri/pre whatever menopause at 35 due to a hormonal coniditon. The freaking hot flashes are just no joke an I've got hormonal acne on my jawline/under my chin worse than my teens. So, I've been looking into makeup that's good for sweat resistance, high humidity and mature skin(even tho I'm not having that particular issue just yet). Any recommendations for hot flashes? I don't have a mother to ask unfortunately.
With Walgreens now carrying Makeup Revolution, I'd love to see reviews of the "second tier" drugstore brands, like Makeup Revolution, Joah, Flower, Almay, etc., especially for their foundations and concealers.
Im almost 40 and havenever bought almay products... dont know anyone who wears them
I’m old enough to remember when Almay was top tier 😊 would love a one brand review too see what’s new.
Almay is a good brand. You won’t get mile high lashes or holographic cheeks but the brand is a steady brand. And besides, who really wants holographic cheeks anyway?! 😊

I freaking love that Maybelline Skin Tint! I went from being a full coverage matte foundation girl (revlon colorstay and estee lauder double wear), to the skin tint and my make up and skin looks soooo much better having a lighter coverage. I jsut wish more brands had more neutral/yellow tones. However as much as I love Ulta, buying drugstore items there is a no go for me, the prices are $3-5 more than at other stores.
I feel like the maybelline has just as much coverage as double wear and I want a lighter coverage. The wear time in it is amazing and wish my other skin tints lasted the way it does
@@c8creates I definitely think you can get full coverage out of it, but I don’t even use a full dropper for my whole face and it looks great, my skin but better. And the slight glow helps it too! Maybe try to mix some with your SPF and see if you can get it lighter
My local grocery store😅 carries a great variety of these at good price! ULTA. Is ano go for me as well.
Ulta offers coupons and has great sales, plus you earn bonus rewards. I buy from them because you can try the makeup and return it if you don't like it. Makeup is too expensive to be stuck with something that doesn't work.
For years I have been using wet n wild photo focus dewy foundation and their tinted hydrator….I love the finish and wear time, and for the price everything else can kiss my butt
How does it look on oily skin?

I love all my No7 foundations they are all amazing. The lift and luminate is my holy grail.
I LOVE this format! I’d like to see half face/side by side comparison + wear test! I do this sometimes at home. Especially if they’re super similar. Not for a dupes purpose but help battle out the rankings!
Wet N Wild tinted hydrator and Photo Focus dewy are 2 of my faves. So good and less expensive than all of these.
The way you described the true match is exactly how I feel about the super stay skin tint. So funny how different we experience foundations
Thank you for mentioning your other favorites! I always want to know how products TH-camrs try compare to their favorites. If you like it but wouldn’t rank it above a favorite product, that’s super useful to inform my purchasing decisions.
I love the True Match and I have every high end foundation there is. Just tried the true match 3 weeks ago and can not stop using it. My skin has never looked better.

Yeah, it works for me too. I tried the reformulated version after a makeup artist said it was the best overall foundation at the drug store.

I’m not usually a maybelline girl, but this skin tint is my go to. It’s so light weight, great coverage, doesn’t look heavy, & great for humid Florida weather! Even covers up my acne scars really well. Don’t even need to set the makeup.
Oooh, i'm in Florida so I may need to try it. It's been BAD heat and humidity wise; I wasn't ready for it so soon haha
Superstay and True Match are my go-tos. They’re both so beautiful!

I remember when you first started using that L'Oreal Age Perfecting Serum one and you sold me on it too! 🤩 Honestly think it's been one of my top two favorite foundations as well. Thank you for putting this together- i definitely need to get something new as my current make up is aging out.
Dollar Tree has a knock off of the L'oreal Simply Ageless foundation and primer. I love the foundation. It is so pretty. It is B-Pure Effortlessly Ageless. For $1.25, it can't be beat.

Good ranking video, Jessica! I totally agree with your #1 pick, The Loreal Age Perfect foundation is my fav of the drugstore and I am 73 with dry skin. Jen Phelps recommended Wet n Wild Photofocus stick foundation for a solid, easy for travel. It applies easily and blends easily and gives good coverage. You and I have similar skin tones and I use Soft Beige but could probably go one step darker. You might want to check that out. I would be interested in your opinion of it compared to the Age Perfect.

I’ve been using L’Oréal infallible 24 hour fresh wear foundation in a powder and love it, I started using it for travel so it would be less liquid since we only go with carryon.

I love this style of video - comprehensive break down and comparison of a few popular offerings in one product category.
I have combination oily skin with textured patches and some signs of aging (35 years old), and my top two foundations are the Physicians Formula Butter Believe It foundation and the Essence Pretty Natural foundation. PF is amazing buildable medium-full coverage, and the Essence is my go to for light-medium coverage. My biggest priorities are that my foundation looks skin-like and is transfer/crease/humidity resistant. I loved the No 7 Stay Perfect foundation once upon a time, but I am a pale princess year round and Calico (lightest shade) was too dark on me even in the summer. Taylor Wynn has great videos on the PF and Essence foundations, and I know Jessie loves her channel too. ❤

I just tried the reformulated CoverGirl Clean foundation and it was soooo good! It's an exact color match for me, and disappears on my skin in the best way. It really does just look like my skin, but much more even and gives some decent coverage.
Does the reformulation still have that strong Noxema scent?
@@juliewells4282No ..they have reformulated that while line to take that scent out, which I was happy about because it used to aggravate my eczema
I used to wear the Covergirl Clean as a teenager in the early 1970's. I have thoughr about trying ir again, I may pick up a bottle soon.

I love videos like this! Makeup has gotten so expensive, even at the drugstore, so it helps to know what’s good and what isn’t. (Especially since it sounds like we have the same skin type or close.)
Your lips always look so nice! This is an area of makeup I feel like I’ve never gotten down. Because of this I usually stick to a quick gloss or even just a lipliner and balm situation. I’d love to see you do a lip version of this. You could even parlay it into a series based on types (actual lipstick vs something more sheer for those of us into something that feels a bit lighter).

This was very helpful, thanks Jessica. I have used and love 2 of these 5, actually thanks to you - Restore & Renew, and the Loreal Serum foundation. I like the True Match Nude, but haven't liked the True Match. Tried it a couple of times, then gave it away to one of my friends. I love foundation content!!!! (I have a foundation addiction problem....on the hunt for the perfect foundation.)
The Loreal Trumatch nude serum foundation with hyaluronic acid is my favorite that I have tried so far. Feel like it just sinks into the skin and looks so skin like.

Hi Jessica, I agree. I already use #1 and #2, I’m 79 years old and they work well for me. I purchased the new rave reviewed Korean TIRTIR and have used it nonstop for about two weeks. Good color match, good coverage, but today I went back to my #2. Just feel on my skin was so much more comfortable. I used to watch you some years back, but life got on the way. So much to do.

I love the Maybelline one. It’s in my top 3 foundations along with Estée Lauder Double Wear and Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue. I bought a pump for it on Amazon.
I use the Age Perfect one because of a review of yours ages ago and this is my favorite foundation I ever had, plus I love not having to use SPF and another product, it’s all in one. I have been through three of them now and just purchased my fourth!

Would love more videos like this!! Maybelline skin tint is my go to foundation and I keep going back to it despite trying many high end ones. Just like you said it has amazing staying power. I live near Disney and have oily skin. I go to the parks a lot and this lasts through a long day at the park. Even wore it for an early flight out from Florida to Vegas and had my makeup on for over 24 hours. My skin still looked amazing! Now though I feel I need to try the L’Oréal one that is your favorite to compare!

I would love to hear your favorite foundation that gives you what you like with only one pump. No going back and adding more or using multiple pumps from the start.
I still want physicians formula healthy foundation back 😟. I can't get over it- feel like nothing drugstore has compared since. I do have the No 7 one.
I use for my day/everyday foundation not special occasion one, the L’Oréal age perfect, we have similar taste and I’m sooooo obsessed with it! All of your top I get and I love just like you! 😊
