I 100% used the cover girl skin tint as a primer. It's wonderful when used this way - didn't see anyone online suggesting this. Glad you brought it up.
I use the cover girl essence foundation with elf halo glow powder and it lasts 8+ hours. It’s such a beautiful skin like tint. It’s my favorite right now.

I ended up purchasing shade 30 as well and I mix them for a perfect match. I didn’t try shade 20, as it looks quite yellow, and I have extremely cool toned skin. Even buying two bottles of the CG is way cheaper than a high end similar product. (I’m in Canada).

I’m glad I read your wear notes. I’ve been trying the covergirl essence the last few days and while it had looked great before. It looked kind of obvious and like it was just sitting on top of my nose today. I think it must’ve been the moisturizer I had on today because I put it on immediately before the covergirl versus the last few days where I had done my skincare a few hours before my makeup.
Regarding the redness- have you been out in the cold wind lately without makeup on? I get windburn easily on my cheeks that looks and feels like you describe so easily! I put a little aquafor on it at bedtime and it clears right up
Have you tried the erborian cc cream? Please try, it is wonderful and very similar to the Covergirl essence you showed. It gives a very natural but even look to the skin. Love all your Videos and disney vlogs!

Teachers need time in their classrooms to actually accomplish things they have no time to do on normal days. After missing out on so much time with my daughters as they grew up, because I was spending 24/7 on schoolwork, I no longer take my bag out of the car when I get home. Setting boundaries and priorities.
I usually use a medium to full coverage foundation-and I really like the CG essence foundation, more coverage than I expected and a truly pretty effect
If you want to dupe the Chanel tint you can just mix your favorite foundation with the COSRX Snail 96 Power Essence. You will get the same sheer dewy look plus skin care benefits.
I know elf's new business model of "dupes" is controversial, but I actually appreciate the way they are unabashedly (great word btw!) duping products instead of trying to hide it AND giving us high-quality products at a much more affordable price point. I'm a SAHM with two neurodivergent boys and a budget! I know people are also mad that their prices have gone up too, but EVERYONE's prices of gone up! That Covergirl Essence is >$20 for goodness sake. I'm so happy that elf finally figured out mascara too! I've hated pretty much every mascara they've come out with until Lash n Roll and I'm so excited to try this new one!

No payoff, no visible difference. The color you used is beautiful, has A bit of A bronze/gold sheen and looks wonderful on your skin. I just picked up those ELF blushes in the same colors this weekend! The mauve is very punchy for sure! I like them much better than the Revolution Suoerdewy liquid blushes in the squeeze tubes.
Ah! Now I understand the Clinique extension visible mascara I picked up this weekend at the Cosmetic Company store. It has a thinner wand and when I washed my face I saw the flakes and worried it was a bad formula. Now it makes sense. Hope you enjoy your date night. Love your cute cardigan.

*runs dark for fair people, I don't imagine dark and deep skin tones get much range at all from any of the brands I just mentioned.

I love this foundation/tint essence. It is absolutely amazing and I just love the way my skin looks with it.
