Hey Abbey, about 3 years ago I left a pretty critical comment on one of your videos. While I still think my opinion was valid, my delivery was hateful and mean. I’m here to say that I did that during a time I was suffering severely with self-hatred and depression and terrible insecurities regarding other women leftover from my mother’s terrible treatment, and I just wanted to be as mean as possible about everything, especially behind a keyboard. That’s not an excuse for my behavior, but I tell you those things to say that like most nasty things people say, it was 100% about me and not you. I wanted to say I’m really sorry about that and it can’t be easy because I’m sure you get nasty comments all the time. Thank you for the valuable information you provide. As a woman myself trying to succeed in her career too, I’m very sorry. I don’t know what compelled me to write this today, maybe because I have not watched one of your videos in a while and you popped up, but I do hope you see it.
Great insight! Thank you for writing this. It helps to understand where others that make a hateful statement are coming from. We don’t need to hate the haters but learn not to hate back. 😊❤
I just want to say. I truly appreciate this video. “Top in each category”… Sephora, drug store, body care, hair, LOVE IT! I save them and revisit regularly right before a restock. Thank you!

This video made me purchase the Dove Bond Strength Shampoo & Conditioner. I used it for the first time last night and holy hell - this stuff is the real deal. The difference in my was quite noticeable. When I woke up this morning, I noticed the difference even more. Zero frizz and there is a sleekness/shine to it. Also, it smells AMAZING. I have fine hair and I was afraid it would be weighed down but that did not happen. I'm in love. Thank you for this reco!

Though i was on tret before I stumbled upon your channel, almost all of your skincare reccos have taken my skin to the next level. Also i’m OBSESSED w/ Dove intensive repair shampoo/conditioner. The smell, the feel - perfection at an amazing price point. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us ❤
Just used my Pantene Volume and Body shampoo and I’m obsessed. If Abby recommends it, I use it. The QUALITY of my hair has improved drastically over the last two years taking your recommendations. All time favorite hair care gal!!
I bought it 2 days ago and it is like a clarifying shampoo. It took off all the build up and oxidized sebum. I love it!!!!! I shampoo twice a week so I will use it only once a week to do a deep scalp cleansing. It's amazing and freaking affordable, it was literally 5 bucks. Thanks Abbey 😊

By far my favorite hair mask is Eva NYC. It comes in such a giant tub that it's a great deal and I love the texture and the way my hair feels afterward.
The only tinted sunscreen I use is Australian Gold. It works fantastic! My nose is always the first thing to get sunburned and this sunscreen prevents that from happening.
I looooove the Dove Bond Strength line. The OGX oil is too thick for me even though I have sturdy South Asian hair, but the Dove serum? Perfection for me! The line is spectacular and I think it will be perfect year round but especially in winter! Dove is great overall, there isn’t much I don’t like from them. Their Blueberry and Moon Milk body was is incredible!
Wow Abby you’re right about Dove! I used the bond shampoo, conditioner and mask today. My dry and frizzy hair hasn’t feel this soft. Regretting buying high end now! Thank you!
The Versed Eye balm with retinol is super special. I love the formula! It’s one of those products you just enjoy using. I highly recommend trying it out!
I bought and used the new Dove bond repair shampoo and mask. Loved loved loved them! I am floored. The shampoo was $4 and the mask was $10!! Unbelievable.
I’ve only tried the Dove Bond repair conditioner because I have very fine hair that is weighed down easily, and I absolutely ADORE the conditioner in this line (especially @ $4/bottle!).

Thank you for putting me on to the Vanicream facial moisturizer. It’s amazing for my sensitive- eczema prone skin. I wear it day and night and it’s super hydrating yet feels light at the same time, and it’s affordable! Amazing product ❤ I’ve repurchased is over 6 times now. going to try the La Roche Posay cicaplast gel next!
My fave drugstore sunscreen is the Good Molecules mineral sunscreen! It’s hydrating and light and wears beautifully under my makeup. But I’ve found it is best to make sure my moisturizer underneath is fully set and that I press this in to absorb fully before applying makeup. It is not tinted and does not have a strong scent. 🙌❤️
I would love to see all your favorites that are budget conscious. Since I know there are K beauty brands and maybe others that are budget friendly but not in a drugstore, just like you mentioned.
Hi Abbey, I love your channel! As someone who exercises frequently and has to wear hair up for work I would really appreciate a dedicated video on secure but non-damaging hairstyles. Thanks for all you do!
I love the elf halo glow. I use it on my cheeks as a highlighter and under my eyes as a brightener under my foundation and concealer. I love that L’Oréal serum foundation you mentioned. My daughter loves it also.
Yesssss the Wet Brush Pro Shine Enhancer!!! All time favorite brush. I don’t have damaged hair anymore, but I’ve been buying it for 4-5 years now and it honestly beats out annnnny of my expensive brushes ☺️
@@paulam6182 yes!! I use it on both wet and dry hair. Just always start at the ends of your hair of course. I also use detangler/leave in when wet. It detangles SO well. Best brush I’ve ever had. Better than my Mason Pearson tbh. That specific one (Wet Brush Pro Shine Enhancer) has been hard to find in stores the past few years for some reason, but Wet Brush has their own official store on Amazon and I buy mine from there! ☺️
Happy Sunday from Duluth, Abbey! :) I loved PTR Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream Moisturizer for so long, but didn't like the $52 price. The Vanicream Daily Moisturizer you showed at 5:32 is what I use now instead and it works just as well for me. I loooooove that stuff so much!
Truly appreciate your honesty & not just adding a product to a category just to add one. I’ve tried so many of your recommendations already that I’ll be add more to my list to try ☺️ Love Drugstore 😉
La roche posay toleriane milky cleanser is my favorite cleanser ever for my dry eczema-prone skin!! It’s the best!! I am lucky because i am french so the 400ml bottle is like 12€
ilysm for this. you don't know how much this helps people. EVERYONE deserves to take care of themselves, but not everyone has the means to pay the price that big companies make you spend in order to do so. thanks for all your time, i'm sure this wasn't easy to put together nor easy on your bank acc! but we appeicate you sis
Your videos can never be too long, I could listen and watch you all day!!! I am drugstore to the core. There are very few high end products I can afford or I'm willing to spend money on. Thank you for all your recommendations and all the hard work putting out videos like this. Have you tried the Klavuu Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Pack??? Still my favorite lip product for night time. Many blessings!!!
This is the first video of your that It seen, and I really enjoyed it! You introduced me to products that are new to me like the Naturium Lip Balm. And, you've got me interested in checking out the Dove hair care, and Maybelline Lash Sensational (which says a lot, as I usually don't care for Maybelline mascaras). I'd also love to try Flower's Moonstone Eye Light. Thank you for all of your work to give a fun, through review on some great products, that won't break the bank. ❤
Thank you SO much! My hair is looking so much better than just a year ago. I appreciate your thoughtful reviews of these products. I am on a drugstore budget and this helps so much!
You saved my hair after I warch your hair oiling vide. I was having dermatitis on my scalp and I use oil on my scalp and it flares but when I don't apply my ends being so dead so by watching you can oil only ends change everything for me. hairfall decreased hair feels fresh ends nourished and also less itchy scalp God bless you. You saved my hair and my 3 to 4years long problem that keep on happening and I want able to find the solution as hair oiling by this way I see first time. I feel bless by watching hair oiling video. Luv you!!
Yes, I would love to see other videos on multiple products you like in the same category...especially hair care items. I don't have damaged hair but want to know if I can still use the products you do or if you have other recommendations on products you like.
I really appreciate your genuineness. Not putting a product in your reviews just for the sake of filling a category. I may have to try that concealer, maybe my problem is not using a thinner one 🤷♀️
Have you tried the aveeno calm and restore line, eye cream or eye gel I should say? Or the roc eye gel in the greenish bottle with the gold cap? It’s like a caffeine type eye gel. I just love the way it feels and it definitely plumps up the under eye and brightens a Little. You’ve probably already tried but just in case!
You have helped my hair so much. Amika the kure bonding is my perfect shampoo. GettinG rid of breakage and splits I love the way you give kudos to drugstore as well as high end. The Elizavecca too! Thanks for all the hard work you put into your reviews.
L’Oréal Ever Pure products are seriously the besttttt. Every single product I have tried from that line has made my hair feel better than it normally does.
Have you ever tried the Milani pressed powder bronzer? I used to use it and I liked it but then my 2 YO daughter put a bunch of my makeup in the tub so I’ve been wanting to try out some new products! But I did enjoy it
My favorite cleanser is the LRP Lipikar AP+ Gentle Foaming Cleansing Oil. I have tried so many cleansers in the last five years, and it’s the only one I’ve found that doesn’t dry out my skin. The LRP Toleriane Dermo Face Cleanser has been replaced in my routine by the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. It works as well as the LRP for me, and costs a lot less. I only use it when my skin barrier is compromised, I need a cleanser in the morning, or I need a cleanser that I can use without water. I keep trying ceramide containing moisturizers, but I always come back to the Vanicream Daily Moisturizer. For my super sensitive skin, there isn’t anything else on the market that compares to it, and the price point can’t be beat.
abbey what are you doing differently? is it the hair color? the makeup? idk you look so angelic and gorgeous!!!! maybe its the love glow?!? you look so radiant :)
Pleaaaase dig more into those separate categories! Also, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the drugstore Tresemme lines if you’ve tried any of those
I’m so glad you made this video, I was looking forward to it. Most of the drugstore products that you have recommended, specially the hair care products and makeup, have worked so so well for me thankfully with God’s grace. I’m a very sensitive girly from head to toe, so I’m always sceptical about any new product. But your recommendations have never failed me. Thankyou very much Abbey. Also the slip of tongue in between videos and the little self-mockery that you do after is adorable. Love it. Lots of love♥️ And ya, the drugstore option you asked for eyecream, I would say Good molecules Yerba mate wakeup eyegel seem to be a good option. I’m not sure if I have written the exact name or not, because its a mouthful, but I’m sure you will get it. I would love to know what you think of it.
I tried the dove intensive repair duo - and found it caused a lot of frizz. I don't know if it's the type of cleansing agent they use since it's a newer detergent. Redken all soft is my usual that leaves my hair feeling like silk even during the cleansing step BUT it is prone to building up, so i wanted to switch it up with the Dove rather than getting another pricy shampoo. The upside is that more frizz at least means more volume, and I managed to save it a bit with some oribe stylers ☠. I don't oil my hair beforehand or anything so maybe that's where we differ.
I love this! I haven’t tried the dove yet, but plan to. I saw a hairdresser here on TH-cam hating on all drugstore products, specifically the dove dry shampoo and OGX coconut oil….I was a little confused by this, but honestly I have often not agreed with hairdressers recs for my hair specifically.
I love the Cerave skin renewing eye cream! Been using it for awhile now and I feel no need to go back to my high end eye creams. I also love to use plain old vanicream as my eye cream, especially when my eyelid eczema is acting up. For concealer, my absolute favorite from the drug store is the Flower beauty one (the get real serum concealer, not the older version) but I also am really liking the new NYX fix it sticks.
Oh and the pantene volume have been a favorite of mine for many many years. When I saw you start talking about it and its clarifying properties I was enlightened why I loved it so much. 💗
I really love the Nyx Bare with Me Serum concealer. I don't know how it works for oily skin but for my combo/dry skin, it it amazing. I set it with the Elf Halo Glow powder and it looks super natural, gives medium coverage, and doesn't crease. And for the bottom waterline, I absolutely adore the Nyx eyeliner pencil in Velvet. It's a light gold that just just reflects light beautifully without looking disco-y.
@@AbbeyYung I find they run a bit yellow but I just mix in a touch of the Elf blue color corrector and it's perfect. It's a small extra step but to me it's worth it for a great, affordable formula!
That milani lip stain is next level. I use the shade "rose rising" and blend it out with my finger then go over it with the "rose envy" lip oil from elf. Literally the perfect everyday nude pink rosy lip combo. The colors compliment each other nicely and they also wear off really well so you're not left with a ring in the center of no product
Oooh I saw the new Dove Bond Repair Shampoo and Conditioner the last time I was at the store but did not see the mask or serum!? The shampoo and conditioner smelled heavenly though! I'm so excited because they are so, so affordable! Very excited to hear your more long-term thoughts.
Ty so much for being so incredibly honest and thorough. Also you didn’t do a favorite eye brow pencil and eye brow products. Along with setting spray?? Just curious 🧐 lol ty again!
Love the video, I really appreciate the affordable options. Your skin and hair is just gorgeous! Thank you for doing all the hard work of trying and researching the products you share.
Tried the LaRoche dermo cleanser, it leaves an uncomfortable film on your face you feel all day so exchanged it for Toleriane purifying foaming cream and got the Serozinc spray which I like (was gonna try the Byoma spray but forgot, have their melting cleansing balm which is decent). Don’t know why it’s $10 more and a smaller bottle than my usual Toleriane purifying foaming cleanser. I also tried the cicaplast gel, makes me shinier than I’d like but not greasy and soothing. Do you use it everyday, moisturize after?
Pantene volume and body is now my daily shampoo. My hair gets super oily so I can use it everyday but it’s not too much for me. I love it! I had been trying a bunch of different brands for quite a while but I’m coming home to Pantene which I had been using for a long time before. Can’t be beat!
I recently started using the Dove Bond 10-in-1 Serum on my daughter's and my own hair and honestly I am SO impressed with it! Our hair has never felt more healthy/silky! And it lasts for DAYS! As a Mom to young twins, with no time to get ready every day, this is my new HG! Will DEF be trying out the rest of the line!
Dove Bond Strength Conditioner !!! I bought it because it was on sale and wow! Never has a conditioner made such a big difference and there was a time when I spent a fortune on my shampoo and conditioner ! I'm going to go buy all this collection!
I’ve used the dove hair mask a few times because I got it a few months back to test but it seriously made my hair feel insanely soft. Like it feels silky in a way that when you look at the ingredients it makes sense like it feels peptide-y? lipid-esque? It’s like there’s silicone smoothing (which is also nice and the mask definitely contains those I’m not anti silicone) and then there’s this kind of silky effect. It feels sort of plumping almost? I find that super silicone heavy (once again not anti silicone but many reparative products can almost lean toward the sort of smoothing heat protective prep kind of feel?) products can weigh my hair down even though you get the nice slip and stuff in the shower but the dove mask doesn’t have that effect. It feels smooth but unless you were to put it like on your roots it really doesn’t weigh the hair down. Especially for how much slip and silkiness you get. HOWEVER, I’m not smell sensitive but the scent was very strong and gave me a headache the next day so I had to wash it out. If I use it these days I use it on the ends like an oil before I wash. Which is a shame. I’ll have to see if using a smaller amount would help or not.
I’m surprised La Roche Posay is still a drugstore product considering their prices.
In europe it’s only available in the pharmacy😬
Yeah. So pricey and I've given up on them for better value and more effective korea brands. Soon jung and aestura are so much better than cicaplast. No contest. And half the price.

Many drugstore brands are pricey. Olay is too. I like to use coupons at CVS. Also cvs is duping their products with their store brand! :)

The Herbal Essences bio renew mask with argan oil and aloe is soo good. Gives me glossy, shiny hair. I’m using up some others so I can go back to it!
I need to try!
I would love to see all your favorites that are budget conscious. Since I know there are K beauty brands and maybe others that are budget friendly but not in a drugstore, just like you mentioned.
Hi Abbey, I love your channel! As someone who exercises frequently and has to wear hair up for work
I would really appreciate a dedicated video on secure but non-damaging hairstyles.
Can you use this on wet and dry hair xx
@@paulam6182 yes!! I use it on both wet and dry hair. Just always start at the ends of your hair of course. I also use detangler/leave in when wet. It detangles SO well. Best brush I’ve ever had. Better than my Mason Pearson tbh.
That specific one (Wet Brush Pro Shine Enhancer) has been hard to find in stores the past few years for some reason, but Wet Brush has their own official store on Amazon and I buy mine from there! ☺️
YES! Definitely need a video review of Dove Bond Strength line 😁
I loooooove that stuff so much!
yay I am so glad you love it too!
The dove bonding repair mask is by far one of my favorite products you have ever recommended and I will forever be keeping it!
Can't wait to hear this Dove bond repair update!!!😉
Truly appreciate your honesty & not just adding a product to a category just to add one. I’ve tried so many of your recommendations already that I’ll be add more to my list to try ☺️ Love Drugstore 😉
Yes to a video with even more options besides your favorites!!
I have been enjoying the Andalou Naturals Brightening Luminous Eye Serum and I enjoy the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Serum SPF 60+ for sunscreen
Many blessings!!!
thank you so much for watching! and no but I just added to my amazon cart haha thank you for the rec!
Yes! Please do the review on the Dove products!
I love your drugstore videos. Thanks for sharing your picks with us. 👍🏼
yay so glad! thanks for watching!
I just bought the dove shampoo and conditioner and my daughter is obsessed with after one time!!! Lol. Cant wait to use it!
I just bought the dove and I can’t believe how amazing they are!
I love the Flower Beauty blushes! I bought 4 of the same one so i wont run out for a long time!
The Elf Makeup Remover Balm is the best! Been using it for a few years. I don’t notice a scent.
I really appreciate your genuineness. Not putting a product in your reviews just for the sake of filling a category. I may have to try that concealer, maybe my problem is not using a thinner one 🤷♀️
I’m curious how you store so these products. Can you do a video on tips and tricks re: storage. Thanks!
Yeeeessss!! Great video idea!!! EVERY CATEGORY🙌🏼🙌🏼
Asian sunscreens are definitely a must have ! Very nice list 💯
I cannot WAIT for the lip stain video! That Milano lipstain is gorgeous though and now I want to go out and buy some.
I have fine hair and a lot of products weigh my hair down. I will try the dove shampoo also the conditioner. It’s also tends to be dry.
I need a whole 30 minute video on body care products!!!!! High end and drug store as well! I would love to hear your recommendations.
CeraVe body moisturizer recommended by 2 dermatologists. Even for older, crepey skin!
Hi, I didn't see any heat protector for hair. Do you have any recommendations?
😍
Have you tried the aveeno calm and restore line, eye cream or eye gel I should say? Or the roc eye gel in the greenish bottle with the gold cap? It’s like a caffeine type eye gel. I just love the way it feels and it definitely plumps up the under eye and brightens a Little. You’ve probably already tried but just in case!
Would love to see a dedicated self tan video - all favorites in every category, showdown, etc! Love your videos
Fake tan is so over !
(& trashy!)
Everybody who's Anybody
has stopped using it🙏🏼🇬🇧
Yes
Love this! Please do an updated body care favourites 😍
The new cereve 50 spf daily moisturizer is amazing. No cast and it blends in immediately and just feels like moisturizer on the skin.
I love lemon scented products! So I will put this Elf balm on my list. 😊
You have helped my hair so much. Amika the kure bonding is my perfect shampoo. GettinG rid of breakage and splits I love the way you give kudos to drugstore as well as high end. The Elizavecca too! Thanks for all the hard work you put into your reviews.
Love the Amika the Kure and Pureology due to Abby.
I would LOVE a series of your favorite products for bleached hair!
But I did enjoy it
I have never seen such an amazing skin of any1 before,ur skin is awesome, without makeup it’s perfect,God gifted!
Yes, please give us a full review of the new Dove products you spoke about. I'm really interested in your thoughts. Thanks.
I really like the Cetaphil Mineral Liquid Sunscreen! It doesn’t leave a white cast for me and it dries down well.
Try The Ordinary cleanser. Inexpensive, does the job and not at all drying.
@@q5130 Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it’s not as good for my skin as the LRP.
abbey what are you doing differently? is it the hair color? the makeup? idk you look so angelic and gorgeous!!!! maybe its the love glow?!? you look so radiant :)
Love it. Lots of love♥️
And ya, the drugstore option you asked for eyecream, I would say Good molecules Yerba mate wakeup eyegel seem to be a good option.
I really liked the Redkin- all soft & felt the build up too. Someone mentioned it has actual oil in it.
I love the drugstore videos lately!! I love my Pureology but I want to try Dove intensive repair. The price is great 👌
Love everything La Roche Posay. The new Ciceplast gel is amazing- the hand cream too!!! I use the repair gel on my eyes over my retinol. Love!!
I stopped reaching for this one awhile ago and forgot to rebuy it... need to try it again!
@@AbbeyYung I find they run a bit yellow but I just mix in a touch of the Elf blue color corrector and it's perfect. It's a small extra step but to me it's worth it for a great, affordable formula!
Definitely want the update on the new dove hair products!!
Thank you, Abbey! I so enjoyed the video and would love to hear more about the new Dove hair care line. 💕
I just use Olay Regeneriist trial size under my eyes. (Small red jar) Works great!
Would love if you have a favorite cruelty free and vegan haircare video! Please!!!
Garnier honeytreasures mask is fantastic! I've used sauve it was nice. I want to try the dove one.
It's so so nice!!
@AbbeyYung OMG you actually replied to me! Lol fangirling rn 😂 Love your content!! ❤
I bought the Maybelline tinted serum because of your recommendation and I loooove it! Thank you!
Thank you girl. For sharing drugstore options.
