Hi Gaby, I'm 44 and I'm a Canadian living in Quebec. I love to see testing of brands that we find in Canada and I would love to see more of it. Like Annabelle, Watier, Marcelle and a lot more in makeup and skincare. Comparing these brands to others we find at the drugstore will be very helpful, I think. Thanks for your videos! ❤❤❤❤
Canadian here too!! I totally agree finding reviews and recommendations for Canadian brands are super hard unless smthn goes viral like the Quo lipglosses. Would love to see a full face from Canadian brands and your opinion on them!!
I can’t thank you enough for doing the unfiltered demos in both studio and natural lighting! It is incredibly helpful and it is not something I see often.
I love all your videos, Gabi! I’m 70 and learning how to do my makeup all over again. My skin has changed so much over the years and I learn so much from you. You are a special person, Gabi! Thank you! 🫶🏻
Hi! Just fyi, Laura Gellar makes a powder foundation for "mature skin"!!! It doesn't sit in any wrinkles at all! It goes on with a kabuki brush and can give you a light to medium coverage based on how far out you have the brush! This is the only foundation that I've found to not only blend with my skin color but not make my wrinkles the star of the show! It's about $26 in US but doesn't take very much to cover your face. All of her products are for mature skin!!!!!
@@tinaevers3020 Yes!!! I have this foundation! It's a baked cream. It's pretty good! I also like it. It's extremely light coverage in my. opinion though. I haven't been able to get it to sit at a medium coverage but maybe I just need to try again.
I’m Canadian 🇨🇦. I was surprised when you said a few small percentage of your audience are Canadian. I love you, your videos and watch you and Angie all the time❤
51 years old brown skin Canadian here. I enjoy watching your videos even though I am not particularly a makeup girl. Please do a video on minimal makeup using drugstore products for us brown women
I think each product should have been used as suggested on the container. For example the L'Oreal says to use fingertips or a sponge and only use a brush as a final step to buff out. That would be the fairest way to do it.
Yes, please make a skin tint, vs a thin light layer of foundation, BB cream, & CC cream video & comparison! I’ve been thinking about this for quite a while. Are skin tints just a light layer of foundation? I also want to know what the differences are between skin tint/foundation/BB cream/CC cream.
Yes! Full face of Rimmel! You should try the Rimmel London lasting finish foundation. It is gorgeous! Emily Noel raves about it and is why I tried it and it’s fabulous! Good coverage, not cakey, last a really long time. It reminds me so much of the YSL luminous matte foundation. They even smell the same to me. Please do full face of Rimmel ❤
YES!!! I have been using the last 2, Maybelline Superstay and the Loreal True match nude ones for over a year now. At 50 living in sunny Queensland Australia my whole life, i find these SO EASY and light for my out and about days. Honestly i prefer them over my Dior, Armani, Pat Mc and all my other foundations unless im out for a special occasion usually at night. So glad others are enjoying the wonders of these well priced products. 💜🇦🇺
The Loreal had such a beautiful finish. How do you think it holds us against sweating? Or is the Maybelline one much better? Thanks from the hot and humid southern US!
@@helenanderson2065 I live in a very hot and humid climate myself in Queensland Australia, i find that it holds up really well in our weather here. I will say i always use a very , very light setting powder especially around the areas i tend to get oily. Ive just been out today for about 5 hours and it was about 28 degrees C. outside and when i got home my daughter who is 23 commented on how amazing my makeup still looked. Shes very honest and a really incredible artist with makeup herself so i trust her opinion, and i just have to look at it myself to know it still looks great. I do actually use the Maybelline Super Stay 24 hr skin tint underneath the Loreal true match nude tinted serum most of the time. I find the Maybelline one is very luminous and has very light coverage which is fine some days, but when i like a little more of a light foundation coverage with the slight glowing finish the both together are incredible!! I also always use a beauty blender to apply it. Hope this gives you some insight into how it holds up in humid weather conditions. ☺️ Ohh i also do use setting spray before and after applying the tint.
Im using both the Maybelline and Loreal and They are just as good as the high end . I was gonna buy the cover Girl , but as a oily Girl Im not gonna try it after watching your test . Thanks so much and yes i love to hear the difference of the creams ! Such a jungle .
I love the fact that you chose to carefully follow the same application method and the exact same quantity of each product you tested 🥰 It's very professional and it allows a valid comparison between the different products 🤗 Love ya ❤ I own both Maybelline Superstay Skin Tint and L'Oreal True Match, the formulas are very close to each other (actually almost identical, they wear equally long and well) but the Maybelline is slightly more glowy, has more coverage and enhances pores more than the L'Oréal one 😉
For the last several years I’ve worn Marcelle Sheer Tint Moisturizer exclusively (which I love!!). Last week I picked up the L’Oréal True Match Nude because of your recent glowing recommendations. Girl, I feel so darn pretty at a time when I’ve been feeling my age and really needed a boost. Thank you for all you do for us!!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗
If you’re in the uk, boots do a tinted moisturiser called no 7hydra luminous .It’s a shearer version of the foundation (which isn’t too heavy either) it’s the nearest I could find to the old benefit foundation before they for some odd reason changed it to matte . Anyway it’s not too expensive either and doesn’t make me break out . Plus you get your boots points if you have a points card so it’s win win really
Gabby thank you so much! I literally was just ready to buy a new foundation for summer! I definitely will try the L’Oréal True Match. I am Canadian and love that you are Canadian too 🇨🇦.
Ooh, i can't wait to dive into this! I alternate between the Maybelline and L'Oréal skin tints you're showing today. Love them! I've been curious about the Covergirl one and whether it'd be worth it to try. I swear it's like you read my mind with every video you put out. Top notch content. Thank you, Gabi❤
Glad you like this video! It came out at the perfect time! Cover girl is getting a lot of attention online so it may be worth a try. I just have such oily skin that anything too wet looks awful on me but remember that EVERYONE is different so you may really love it! Between Maybelline and L’Oreal, which one is your favourite?
🇨🇦Canadian subscriber here! Been watching you for months! Thank you for the links to where we can buy the products mentioned! So happy and proud to discover you’re a fellow Canadian ❤

True Match nude is my favorite also! Thank you for your review. You have such a kind, friendly and honest presentation and you always make me smile. I appreciate you so much. I would like a review on the difference between skin tints, balms, etc as you asked. ❤
I have both the Maybelline and L’Oreal and I really like the Maybelline, but love the L’Oreal. I will have to try the Rimmel. Love this type of video, short, sweet, and to the point. Please make more of these try on videos. Thanks!
The cover girl one applies really well if you use your fingers! I’ve never had any issues with creasing or anything using it daily that way. The coverage is really nice :)
This is very helpful. I'm almost 60 and don't always want a full coverage foundation everyday! ❤ Sometimes, I want to look pretty without a ton of work! This gave me options. Thank you! ❤
I have been using Covergirl Skin Perfector Essence for a few months and I love it. I don't need a lot of foundation so I don't get creasing or anything people complain about because I use the minimum amount.
You should try wet and wild tinted hydrator. Omg! I have tried many high end to drug store foundation to bb cream. It is so so so good! It makes me feel excited to put on make up everyday. Before I discovered it, all other foundations will oxidize or separate or cakey! Thank you for your reviews! ❤
🎉Great video,ty❤. It is refreshing to see the natural lighting done in your tutorial. I hope you talk more about Tinted vs. BB vs. CC makeup. Honesty really counts,💄😇🌷💯
Some one needs to sell a pump that can be used for all these products that come with a dropper. Loved this review, I’m going to go get the L’Oreal today.

Excellent vid, you are a pleasure to watch. From one professional to another your presentation of product is hands down superior to many others. Training in the field of cosmetology makes all the difference. Thank you.
Hi Gabi, I like the Maybelline Skin Tint very much, although, it does seem more like regular long wear foundation. I apply it with my BK Beauty 101 brush. I dispense it in the palm of my had, swirl my brush in it and stipple it on. I get very even coverage this way. Thanks for this video!
I love your last one too👂loved this skin tint video, I’m more of tinted mineral sunscreen girl, little bronze look, I live in Florida, it’s Summer here all year. So glad I found you 💜
Thank you for thia video! I just bought the Loreal and I totally agree with the applicator being a mess!!! What do you normally apply this with? Love your videos!
I share the same thoughts abt what makes a skin tint diff frm the other light wt foundations! L’Oréal true match nude serum is an incredible drugstore offering. I absolutely love it and I didn’t think I’d ever love a complexion product the way I love it 😊
Loreal True Match Nude has been one of my all time favorites since it launched. I live near Houston, Tx and we were so hot and humid last year, this was a huge winner during the heat of summer. BTW, I found a pump that fits it perfectly on Amazon, it even has a click close twist!!!! I purchased that Covergirl Skin Perfector Essence in January of this year and when I first applied it I hated it!!! I thought it was trash. I gave it another try and really ended up loving it during our cooler months. I found that using my fingers to distribute the product over my face was best, then let the product rest---after about a minute of so, I went in with the BK 101 Foundation Brush (tap tap tap, not strokes) and it ended up being perfect! I haven't tried it since we have heated up but I wore it constantly thru April of this year! I did try the Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint too (returned it!). I know so many love it but for me, it just wasn't a good fit. 60, Balanced
I also LOVE the L'Oreal True Match Nude. And absolutely agree with you about the messy applicator. I clean the rim of both bottle and applicator because there's tint all over, no matter how hard I try to keep it perfect. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
Interesting video. I usually apply my skin tints with a sponge or my fingers. Viewers should experiment with different application methods to see how the skin tints perform. Some can be used with brushes. The amount you used I felt was way too much which may have compromised the finish of the skin tint. I would think applying that amount would make some of the skin tints cake and settle into lines and wrinkles much more. The only skin tint I don't like and doesn't sit well on the skin no matter what application tool you use is the Covergirl. Did this brand not test this product before they put it out?
I went really liking the garnier bb cream that’s for oily to combo skin I think. One was thick and then one was much kore viscous. The more viscous one was SO good! It was about 12.00 which was kinda pricey back then but worth it. It lasted a king time, had a perfect glowy feet finish, and was thin so it didn’t cake. Apparently you can still order it online but o think they reformulated it.
🇨🇦 I'm just entering my thirties along with my second makeup era. In my late teens and early twenties, I watched videos like this and they were almost exclusively how I learned about makeup. Now that I want to get back into it, this type of video seems to be harder to find on TH-cam, so I'm really glad you're making them!
You should try the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. It’s beautiful and it’s only like SIX DOLLARS!!! I powder it down with their photo focus powder which is equally fabulous--and it looks great all day.
This was so interesting. You are so fun to watch! I think that it would have been better to try different application methods & using only the amount that is needed. Thank you for being here for me !
Hi Gabbi, my favorites by far is the L’Oréal and I do agree the applicator sucks . I think most of the L’Oréal foundations are fabulous for drugstore. I really dislike the Cover Girl one. Have a wonderful week. 💜💜💜

Thanks for watching! I've got another one coming soon!
The L'oreal true match hyaluronic skin tint is my everyday foundation. I love it!
Hi Gabbi. Canadian girl here 🍁! Love you videos , especially your reviews!! ❤
Hey, Gabi, would you do a review on different mascaras sometime? You did great with this one.
Rimmel Lasting Radiance foundation is amazing as are their stay matte powders and bronzer. 🇨🇦 from Winnipeg!
🇨🇦 here! I found you a few months before the creator house was announced on Angie's channel. I absolutely adore you and your content. Looking forward to your video on skin tints and cc/bb creams. ❤
Welcome!! Thank you so much for leaving me such a sweet message! I am so happy to have you here as apart of my community!
I would love a video on CC cream, BB cream, tinted moisturizer, sheer foundation and skin tint differences.
Please do a Rimmel full face.😊
🇨🇦I’m a proud mature Canadian and have learned a lot from your videos! Keep doing you!
Thank you! Will do!
