I just bought a Legion GO because they're currently $500 on sale on Amazon, and one of the first things that I was thinking was that Lenovo should have made a keyboard attachment for it. The small size probably wouldn't accommodate my big hands that well anyway.
These are super cool. I went with the GPD Win Max 2 myself...mainly because I found a solid used example. But if I were buying one of these types of things, new...It'd probably be one of these. Very cool.
I had a decision to make between the onexplayer x1 mini and the GPD win mini and went with the GPD device because of a good deal on a used one. I would really like to see a Video from you about that one. I find it incredibly good (with bazzite). But the x1 mini looks really good too! Both of them have a very cool form factor. Nice Videos btw.! Watching Content about PC Handhelds became kind of a Hobby of mine 😊
Not at that price, dam 😭 still cool though. Always thought about having a decent gaming tablet with my custom 65% keyboard and mouse instead of a laptop. But then the steam deck come out and i was hooked.
Another great video brother 👍🏾 How about a video talking about the fan noise of each of the handhelds? Does Mrs Dopamine have any comments or not like certain devices because of the noise they make?
Fan noise is a big reason why I have avoided most of these. I ended up buying a rog flow z13 and it can basically play everything pretty well with minimal noise. It's just not very portable at all. I never hear any reviewers say anything about fan noise either. When xbox makes it's handheld I'm sure it will be whisper quite since they're the only ones in the industry who seem to care about fan noise.
I've had my own for a few months now, I've actually got two devices from them, and honestly they are handheld powerhouses, super comfortable (x1 mini) my other (pro 2) is a bit bulky but manageable, they're super amazing for what they are but rog ally x is my go to price wise
sorry but the legion go just is just way better priced 1300 bucks for that is crazy , at the end of the day it is a sponsored vid and you gotta glaze it but frame Gen and a legion go completes it
I have a OneXplayer mini (amd version), I hated the Windows UI and onexplayer software on it So i installed Chimera Os (like steam deck os) (i recently tried bazzite but too many driver issues) It is like a steam deck with comparable power, great experience
Flexy keyboard, and separate controls means "this is terrible" to me, regardless of anything else. Either have a real hard keyboard, or a real controller. Missing both? eeeh. It means you need a table for the keyboard, and you have something annoying to plug/transport for the controller. No bueno. I suspect that you let the fact that this was provided to you influence you a little bit :)
The GPD mini is a 7 inch clamshell laptop & I think that’s the small laptop that actually does anything. That has legit specs. Aya Neo ripped off the design & called it an Aya Neo Flip (Keyboard). Either one are much more likely candidates for the world’s smallest laptop b/c the keyboard isn’t detachable.
too small for the “keyboard method” but have you ever heard of a sidekick? In the realm of pre smart phone mobile phones ppl were tying on keyboards way smaller than that. I have an Aya Neo slide which is the same as the keyboard slide variant for the GPD. It’s useable. Ppl buy these things for gaming & media first & foremost. No different than the One x Player in this video. If you are writing a novel, you don’t search out the “world’s smallest laptop” to get that job done.
i bought Razer Blade 14 laptop with 3070 (open box condition) and brand new Legion Go a little cheaper than the original price of ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini 32gb 1tb which is 1,399.00$. I meeeeeeean...........................
These companies are always trying to upsell consumers and that is done by removing options for the buyer. You the consumer may be fine with 512gb SSD and 16gb ram, but the company will instead offer a minimum of 1tb SSD and 32gb ram ..etc..etc
Man i had onexplayer 1 and 2 i just couldn't do it anymore....horrible support ...one bricked after a year had to send it to china to be repaired...onexplay center never work for me drivers or software like bios updates is in chinese ...controllers where cheap...next is price spent 1100 for one and a new one came out a year later and it was being sold for 500 on ebay ....legion go is the way to go onex looks great but only makes sense if your in china..probably avoids shipping cost that way
Rog ally z1 extreme or legion go?, I want something with most performance and fps, and I always have an outlet with me so Im also planning to use it always in turbo mode, which has the most longevity and good heating system for heavy use?
@@horticultural261I compared the performance by watching videos, but the comparison always comes with with the ally x, there isn’t many comparison with ally z1 extreme, and legion go does win sometimes, but Im also wondering what does vrr display do in ally z1 extreme?
@@maklsiso the Z1 Extreme is very similar to the Rog ally X. Like the Z1 will run it at 45 fps the X will run it at 48-52 more or less. It’s about 5% faster in 99% of games, although the extra ram could come in handy with newer titles. Overall I’d go with the Z1 Extreme unless you can afford to splurge and then I’d recommend the X simply because of the increased battery and the fact that they ditched their proprietary nonsense adapter and went with a straight usb C cable for an External GPU so this is something to keep in mind. I got the Rog Ally X and I LOVE it but I kinda wish I just got the Z1 model and saved myself like 400 bucks

It’s the RAM if that device imported from China has 32 gigs of RAM then that’s why it’s running it at that high a frame rate. Stalker 2 can use 20+ gigs of RAM. 16 gigs of RAM devices are not happy with/ this memory sucking hog of a game. lool.
What's this? A laptop for ANTS???(zoolander's voice)
Hahahaha
It needs to be at least..... THREE times bigger....

anoher great upload from the tech wood elf himself
i was excited until i saw the price
Oh my. I just checked. $1399.99 for starters 😮😮
You are letting flies in the house close the door
good quality content brother
Thats sick this looks really clean
Maybe someday VRR will work well in a oled panel, good video btw cyberdopamine!
FURST!
And that is impressive, how much power they can put into smaller and smaller devices.
with stylus support for drawing and sculpting on the go.. this is indeed the best one of it's kind.

really just a legion go with a detachable keyboard
If using a igpu can be considered as a gaming laptop, GPD makes the smallest one, not Onexplayer.
Might as well get the GPD pocket 4
Or a gaming laptop or just build your own rig

The Win Mini’s keyboard is too small to be practical for long-term use. GPD Pocket 4 looks promising, but obviously no controllers

This, is the device for BazziteOS (F*ck Windows, even if I can't play "everything" on Linux, it's still a better OS).
playing stalker 2, im just tryna have a smooth gameplay on my rtx 3060 pc, maybe if i try on my legion go it'd be smoother.
Now compare this to the allyx

The X1 mini ?

Stalker 2 yes
