purple pants 🙌 pink and green 🙌 great fun is a bit of street, innit! Really enjoyed this video James, although it did go downhill a bit when you started drinking Coke. Mikey may of saved it. Good to hear your thinking, people will find that interesting and useful. Super gallery, with some dope music, as the kids would say. 👍
Great shots you have brought back a few lost memories with a couple of the images . I once ran a Photographic portrait studio just off Deansgate and have not been back to Mcr since 2012 . Thanks for creating and sharing 💎 🙏✌️
Thank you for showcasing my city....Manchester in all of its gritty, colourful and vibrant glory! I must go into Manchester centre next sunny day soon😎
What a day! Loved it spud! It was a tough old walk about and nerves are always high but a banging selection of shots to match the punk manc style music, always great to be out with you!
James, this is awesome, never expected you to do street photography, but I agree it is a lot o fun, I have tried street a couple of time now, the first was not so good but my second attempt was much better and one of my most popular videos. You have captured some amazing images, loved the music in the gallery too, very well done.
Thank you John. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the day to be honest, a big change to my usual stuff. I’ve also learnt a lot from this trip in terms of settings etc in readiness for my next street session. 👍👍
Hi James I'm heading to Manchester tomorrow to shoot some street I love it. I find it both challenging and rewarding and it's definitely addictive. I like the fact that you can't really plan many shots it's just a case of wandering around and observing then grabbing the shot 😊
Exactly that. Very hard to plan which to be honest is not my favoured approach anyway. It’s funny as it’s a theme from my recent video from Manchester, hoping to post very soon. Thanks for watching
Thanks for this video James. I got quite excited when I saw it was Manchester as I have a close association with the city from childhood to being at Uni in Salford. There was only one image that I thought I recognised 9:36 as being the Piccadilly I knew. However I did really enjoy your exploration of the city and I thought you got some great images. Well done.
Thanks Keith. It’s certainly grown in size since I last visited around 20 years ago. A great city for photography but we were also blessed with the weather. Liverpool is next 👍👍
Some really lovely photographs there. Persoanlly, when I do make it to Manchester ( I only live about 9 miles from the City Center ), I usually go for the buildings. Northern Quarter, around the old G-Mex building and the Victoria station and Castlefield. I am not too keen on waiting for a person to walk into the ' photograph ', in fact I avoid people, but for including a lot of them. Here, if the juxtaposition of prople was right, they just don't look like an ornament or an extra in the photograph. The viewer then has the chance to walk his/her eyes around the photograph and see what was going on. I also shoot 90% in B&W, mostly film, but digital too.
Thank you. Often with the inclusion of people, it brings it to life and builds a story for me. Like a foreground element in a landscape photograph, the choice has to be right and not just put in there as the guide book says so.
Thanks Walter. Certainly give it a go. Not everyone’s liking, especially if you’re more used to the natural landscape scene but this really was a lot of fun👍👍
Manchester is the only place I felt comfortable with a camera in an urban environment. As a man from Yorkshire i tried it in sheffield and leeds, Yorkshire folks don't like things they don't understand and so you get suspicious folk giving you a hard time.
Really enjoyed that James. Love the pink tracksuit girl shot. Great gallery at the end 😀👍🏻
Cheers Jon, glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching. A thoroughly enjoyable day and looking forward to the next City to explore 👍👍

Fond memories. It’s a great city. Cheers 👍👍

It’s an excellent place Brian and only a short ride from me👍👍

Likewise. Cheers Mali. Bring on Liverpool 👍👍
I really enjoyed that James, great use of color. I don't think it's something I would ever be comfortable doing, but I certainly appreciate it.
It takes a certain mindset for sure does a bit o street but I could quite easily get used to it. Cheers Matt 👍👍

Good luck in Liverpool mate.
Great photos, cool city!
Thanks very much 👍👍
You didn't expect stalkers. Not a bad day out at all Mr Burns, enjoying the colour as well as the B+W. Better than the Lakes on a sunny day LOL.
Absolutely splendid conditions for the day. Those buskers followed me all day, I only tipped them a pound. Cheers Iain👍👍
@@JamesRBurnsVLOG How Much, phew just because you're in Lancs doesn't mean you have to overspend on a dodgy double act lol.
Great one 😎📷👍
Love Street Photography .
Gave you a sub 🙂👏
Cheers Steve, appreciate it👍👍

I'm a pure landscape photographer the last 3 years, but after your vlog you convinced me to do again street photography. Great photo's James!
Thanks Walter. Certainly give it a go. Not everyone’s liking, especially if you’re more used to the natural landscape scene but this really was a lot of fun👍👍

Leeds is on the cards but heading to Liverpool next so let’s see what happens there
Fantastic mate! what a day and some fine images to go with it. Great music choice too.
Bring on Liverpool :D
Cheers Mikey. Never to be forgotten that day. Bring on the Scousers 😬👍👍
