I've said this before in other Ha Long Bay video but I'll repeat myself.
I took my wife and 2 teenagers to VN summer of 2022. I caught my technology and screen addicted teenagers sitting in the cabin's balcony such as yours, staring out into Ha Long Bay for a solid 10-15 minutes straight, not saying a word, just taking in the site and the unique atmosphere. Add in the beautiful cabin, the gorgeous dining hall, the lovely crew, and we told ourselves we'll do 3 days 2 night the next time we go to Ha Long Bay.
Thank you for bringing back such good memories to us.

Beautiful shots! Which experience did you liked the most, Lan Ha Bay or the previous one at Bai Tu Long? I watched your other video and loved the privacy and tranquility of Bai Tu Long, so I'm still deciding which bay I should visit 😁.
As Vietnamese I prefer to Bái Tử Long than Hạ Long because Hạ long has no village but some seafood or pearl plants

Such a good question! having both experiences i'd say its totally down to what you prefer and cost, if you want to have that experience of being the only ones on the island or only boat around then definitely try Bai Tu Long, but to be honest, this time we really enjoyed socialising with other travellers, and on excursions, we actually met 12 veterans from the US, travelling and sharing their experience of being in Vietnam since the war, those are such fond memories for us, had we chosen to be more secluded, we would have missed meeting these amazing people and sharing stories with them, the scenery is somewhat similar, and boat was a little bigger time with more amenities, we really loved this boat's bath tub and balcony that we missed last time with a smaller boat 😍a first timer would absolutely love Bai Tu Long's tranquility and serenity. There were different activities like Cat Ba island and caves in Lan Ha Bay 😍 Ha Long bay itself i think is filled with day tour trips whereas Lan Ha Bay and Bai Tu Long take you away from that 😍

Halong Bay is lovely and a boat trip is worth it but was surprised Dev went for a dip as the sea is badly polluted around the bay and not recommended by the locals to swim. I do believe there is an attempt by local authorities to clean it up but it may take a few years ..but apart from that its a beautiful place to visit.
We did hear about the trash clean up initiatives and were pleasantly surprised since we did see lots of trash last year, not so much this year, the water was quite alright to swim but i definitely wouldn't submerge or snorkel haha, a quick dip is enough 😜

Yes!.. And after that we went to Fansipan mountain and Cat Cat Village. We stayed overnight in Sapa. It was great experience.

Do you know that the Hạ Long bay was the landing bay of the Dragons for 7000 years ago ? That’s why it’s called Hạ Long bay to day. So watch out for the Dragons. They're still sleeping. 😊
