I have lived in Ha Long bay for 6 years. I am an American teaching English here. I use a flycam (Drone) every waking moment to capture it's beauty but though I have seen many good videos and have some pretty good stuff on my own You tube channel, I think this is the best video about Northern Vietnam I have seen yet. Well done. I have been to Hanoi, Sapa, Hue, Saigon, and Ninh Binh. You have captured the best of the best. It is now July 2024 and I am taking my Vietnamese Fiancé and her son back to the USA. I will leave in September. This video made me realize just how much I will miss this dream world. It truly is paradise but now it's time to take a bit of paradise back to the states. I will miss this place with every fiber of my being. But now it's time for me to allow my new family to experience their newly found world. Cheers!
I absolutely loved how you highlighted the unique landscapes and local traditions of Vietnam. The serene footage of Ha Long Bay and Sapa’s rice terraces was breathtaking. You've definitely convinced me to put Vietnam on my travel list!
I have watched a lot of videos about Vietnam traveling, but I must say you're one of the best when it comes to filming and editing. Thank you so much for recording such beautiful footages of my country. I hope your channel grows bigger in the future because you guys definitely deserve it!
As long as Vietnam is still ruled by the oppressive and exploitive Communist regime, her potential remains greatly diminished. For any 1% that wants to stay, 99% of the population wants to get out, and many have risked their lives doing just that (for example, 39 doomed lives found in UK container truck recently on the news, and that's only what's been reported), unfortunately. Yet another shocking and also recent example is that during the Covid pandemic when almost all countries assisted their citizens with financial aids in one form or another, the corrupt and murderous Vietnamese Commie regime saw it just as another opportunity not to help but to exploit its ruled citizens even more, essentially making money over the corpses of its citizens by presumably killing at least 30-50K of them, due to grossly misdiagnoses and being thrown into barbwired unhygenic living quarters for isolation, so that they had to sleep on concrete floor, even next to filled trashcans, with inadequate toilet, food, water, or medicine, like animals (searching hard enough, one is able to see shocking video clips on Facebook though the regime tried hard to crack down the leaks by Vietnamese citizen journalists), with the fake nostril Covid test kits, mislabeled as approved by World Health Organization (WHO) in Việt Á scandal, colluded by at least 4 different government agencies (Y Tế , Khoa Học, Công Nghệ, Quân y) and the top Politburo members, including Nguyễn Phú Trọng, Phạm Minh Chính, Nguyễn Xuân Phúc. Murderous Vietnamese Commie regime even had a thug murdered Christian pastor Giuse Trần Ngọc Thanh, like it has done with many other pastors across the nation. There is a reason why the current Commie Vietnam ranks at the bottom of the world in freedom of speech, (true) freedom of religion, and freedom of the press, barely above Commie China and Commie North Korea. There is no true freedom of religion in Commie Vietnam, as this corrupt Vietnamese Commie regime only authorized the fake organizations headed by Commie monks, many of whom were Commie Party officials, and those religious organizations not approved to be infiltrated by them or headed by their Commie agents are accused of malicious and nonexistent crimes and banned, with innocent religious leaders arrested and jailed, as in the recent case with Thiền Am Bên Bờ Vũ Trụ, a harmless Buddhist meditation monastery, for simply having many followers (hence, more influences that the regime fears it can't control) than the Commie Party's officially approved ones. Similarly, its passport ranks at the bottom, 89th out of 111 countries for a reason, barely above North Korea 104th rank. even below many African nations. For comparison, South Korea is at 2nd rank. That's what Republic of South Vietnam would have likely been ranked among at least the top 10 had it not been invaded and occupied by the North Vietnamese Commie terrorists, aided by Commie Soviet and Commie China. Search "cuop dat dan" (meaning "land-robbing of citizens") to see millions of footages across the country from North to South, spanning for decades, dated back to Ho Chi Minh's bloody land reform 1953-1956 that killed nearly 1 million North Vietnamese in only 4 years, or 250K people brutally slaughtered in torturous painful deaths (like being shot, stabbed, mutilated while being alive, or heads being plowed over by water buffaloes while bodies being buried underground) each year on average to rob their lands and homes. Even today, if the rightful owners refuse to have their homes or lands robbed, the ruthless Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime simply jail or massacre them, have tractors run over their bodies or openly assassinate them in their own homes. When it comes to robbing, these barbarian Vietnamese Commie bandits even prey on each other, just as the recent case with then 84-year-old Mr. Lê Đình Kình, a 55-year-Commie Party veteran from Dong Tam, near Hanoi, that got shot dead at 3am in his own home by the Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime. When his wife Mrs. Dư Thị Thành refused to lie about the incident as ordered, the Vietnamese Commie terrorist police brutally tortured her (see more details from "dandongtam" on Facebook). The corrupt Vietnamese Commie government officials routinely dine on lavish gold-plated Salt Bae steak $100K per meal with blood money not just from taxpayers but also from robbed-lands and robbed homes recently drew international condemnations, while many Vietnamese citizens, including elderlies in their 60's and 70's as well as kids as young as 6's to 16's selling lottery tickets on the streets to survive on $2-3 per day. Even Phạm Nhật Vượng the richest man in Vietnam (via his VinGroup) made the bulk of his wealth mainly by colluding with the barbarian Vietnamese Commie regime in selling their robbed-lands from Vietnamese citizens. Travelers to Vietnam in her current form (not at all like this before the Communists took over) should keep this in mind. Behind the beauty of the land and smiling faces at popular tourist destinations, there are a lot of darkness and tears, bloods, sweats, sorrow, horror, and sufferings all over the country.

Thank you for this excellent tutorial on SaPa. I was a soldier based in Nha Trang during the war. My first trip back was in 2013 and i was amazed at how modernized the country had become. I returned again in 2023 and visited several cities including HaNoi. It was a wonderful experience and the people were incredibly friendly. In January, 2024 I will be spending 90 days in SE Asia, most of which will be in Vietnam and SaPa is definitely on my list. Thanks to your very informative video I will be able to make the most of my time. Thanks!
WOW! First, thank you for your service. I am very happy you’ve been able to be back! I’m also happy to hear you’ve enjoyed your time back. A lot of people have commented some pretty negative things based on the war. Thanks for changing the narrative!!

Vietnam's tourism is increasingly improved and developed because of its beautiful natural landscapes, especially Ha Long Bay being honored as a world natural wonder.
Traveling to Vietnam is worth it because you get the chance to witness history come to life at places like Hoi An Memories Land. The spectacular show at this destination provides a captivating journey through Vietnam's rich heritage, making history vivid and engaging.
I feel like Hanoi is distinctively old and modern and cultural, crowded, fun... I'm currently in Hanoi, I rent a room from an old house. It's so cute, with plants and bird chirping. The guy next door has the cats outside my door. A tiny place between other houses apart from the noise and dust of street. Oh... it's so lovely
Thanks Guys. I literally had to pause your video to come and write this comment. Your video brought tears to my eyes and as a travel channel myself, I was really impressed by your delivery today. I watched the video because I'm planning my 50th birthday celebration in northern Vietnam.

What an amazing video! Vietnam is in our list of country to visit next year. I will definitely do the cruise,. I don’t think 7 days is enough, we might do 10 days. Thank you and I’m your new subscriber. 😍
Man, this is a beautifully filmed video and perfectly paced in narrative and information. Our family went to VN July 2022 and we loved it as well. We have 2 tech & screen crazy teenagers but we caught them sitting on the cruise ship balcony staring out into Halong Bay for 15 min straight without saying a word, just totally taken in by its grandeur and beauty. We are talking about saving up vacation days (yes, we're Americans) and money to go again next year. BTW, your aerial shots of the Halong Bay, Ninh Binh and Sapa rice terrace is gorgeous. I also have to give you credit for pointing out the artist like skills of the Vietnamese eateries. If we go to a restaurant here in the US with that of food preparation, we'd have to pay out of our ears to get that kind of food.
@@resortpoint Pho in Little HCMC in So Cal costs $15 a bowl and the pho noodle are not nearly as fresh or good as pho in VN. Seafood is also expensive because all of those VN restaurant in So Cal pays high rent in those malls. VN restaurant in the US and Australia may be cheaper than Western restaurant but they're still a far cry from restaurant in VN, and the VN food in the US and Australia are NOWHERE near VN when it comes to diversity and freshness.
Freshly made food is only good if it's not contaminated. Otherwise, you would just end up with freshly made contaminated food. Quality control of food in Commie Vietnam is dubious at best and deadly at worse, even when grown organically. Plenty of agricultural products in Commie Vietnam were grown with unchecked fertilizer and even human wastes. Food exports from Commie Vietnam were routinely banned in many European countries and US for high levels of embedded contaminants. Those rejected exported foods were then sold in Vietnam to consumers. Many fruits in Vietnam were actually imported from Commie China with low quality control, including those rejected by Chinese food standard board. All true. Please do your research. Here's a few clues to get you on the right direction: "EU cảnh báo mỳ ăn liền Việt Nam chứa ethylene oxide vượt ngưỡng", "Catfish from Vietnam recalled for lack of reinspection". Tons more if keep searching. There is a reason why "Vietnam among countries with highest cancer rates globally". The article just came out recently, so that's the most updated info one can get. But here's another article from last year "Vietnam position worsens on global cancer map: report". But it's not only the food to be blamed but also the air and water pollution. Search "Air pollution is Vietnam’s silent killer" or "Hanoi the most polluted city in Southeast Asia". Heavily contaminated food and water and deadly air pollution all contribute to the high morbidity and mortality rate in Commie Vietnam, unfortunately.
I have watched so many many videos of northern Vietnam, but I have to say y’all are the best. Lots of good information and now I feel it’s not going to be difficult to travel to northern Vietnam. Thank you so much for sharing
The cinematography of your video is stunning. It looks like a National Geograpic footage. Well done. Watching your video makes me want to explore this part of Vietnam.
I love how you captured the beauty and culture of Northern Vietnam! It's amazing how a trip can be both an adventure and a soothing escape from daily stress. Has anyone else felt this way about their travels?
I must say one of the best travel vlogs out there♥️The way you guys flimed, narrated and represented the Vietnamese culture is amazing. Do continue making contents. Will enjoy each upload from you guys♥️. Vietnam is also on top of my travel bucket list and will soon be exploring
Please take all things, including healtlh reason, into consideration, and note that Hanoi is the most polluted city in Southeast Asia, and that's one of the reasons Covid-19 have been killing way more Vietnamese than citizens of neighboring countries, as persistent pollution severely damage lungs and make them vulnerable to infections. The young, the old, and the handicaps are permanent 5th class citizens under Commie regime, as the disadvantaged members of the society are often taken advantages of by others with no safety net nor societal protection whatsoever (fairly common sights are tattered pre-teeny kids and old men and women in their 60's, 70's begging or selling lottery tickets on the streets), and almost everyone 95% of population get abuses by the utterly corrupt and brutal Vietnamese Commie regime as their lands can be robbed by it anytime. Even during the pandemic when most countries provided aids to their citizens, the ruling Vietnamese Commies not only didn't provide aids (only about 1% received them and those were usually the members of privileged Commie ruling class or their own associates. Yes, they took citizens' tax money to selectively give it to themselves) coordinated with each other to exploit the citizens even more with their dangerous nostril test kits (made by their shell company Việt á) that they falsely claimed of having been approved by World Health Organization (WHO). The result was deadly, as tens of thousands of people died needlessly. Yes, these ruling Vietnamese Commie lowlifes saw the pandemic as another great opportunity not to help but to make money out of the already indigent Vietnamese citizens most of whom could barely survive after being steered like animals by the brutal Vietnamese Commie military police into barbwired, unhygienic quarantined areas sleeping on the floors with inadequate food, water, toilet, beds, and medicine. All true. Do your research. Caveat emptor! Search for patients lying on concrete floors in hospital corridors and even under beds from Google Images. Torrential floods essentially all over the country half of the year, while HCM is a sinking city.
As a Vietnamese myself, I am truly appreciate your professional video. I love your video. This is a great way to promote my country. This video does make me miss home. I am originally from Sai Gon.
This video perfectly captures the enchanting beauty and rich culture of Northern Vietnam! Your experiences and stunning visuals really make me want to visit. Thanks for sharing such an inspiring travel guide!
[5:15]Vietnam’s landscapes are remarkably diverse-from the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay to the terraced rice fields of Sapa and the pristine beaches of Phu Quoc. Every region offers something unique, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers alike.
"This is like telling a story from the Far East of Asia. The narrative is inspired by amazing footage, creating a unique and captivating clip. Thanks for sharing!"
Also, if you come back, do the caving in Phong Nha and canyoning in Da Lat. Both Hoi An and Da Lat has lots to offer. Go visit Hue to see the old architecture and also for the amazing food. definitely do food tours in each city so you can learn to truly enjoy Vietnamese food.

Vietnam has many beautiful landscapes gifted by nature, friendly people and a simple life
Thank you for this excellent tutorial on SaPa.

Wellcome to Việt Nam!! History help We are living better!! ❤❤ fr VietNam!!

Thank god for letting me see this video on time. I'll be in Hanoi and Sapa in next 2 weeks without any ideas where to go or what to do. Your video is so impressive and valuable. Thank you for your inspiration :)
What an amazing video! Vietnam is in our list of country to visit next year. I will definitely do the cruise,. I don’t think 7 days is enough, we might do 10 days. Thank you and I’m your new subscriber. 😍
Thanks Colleen!! YES I wish we had more time (especially in Hanoi and Sapa) + going to the middle/south! ENJOY!
Check out Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang and Cao Bang. Worth it.
It's definitely worth it. Northern Vietnam has a very beautiful scenery.
Z
Not if you go to Little Saigon in California. 😊
I LOVE this comment! Makes me so happy 💚 thank you so much for sharing and for the kind words 🫶

Thank you Bruce!! That means a lot 😊
Vietnam negeri yang indah, aku kagum kita bersahabat❤
