Peter I love the way you ate that kumara and pay homage to your kiwi roots there and wherever you are travelling in the world. You and yen are my favourite vloggers ever
We are heading to Vietnam in September and can't wait! This is a fantastic way to get even more excited. The boat looks amazing and so does the food 😊 Great video as ever guys!
@mattnattravelthat739 the heatwave is so bad this year that fish population in entire rivers are dieing in Vietnam 😅 we just went to the chocolate hills in bohol and they were on fire due to the heat 🔥
What a lovely way to explore the area, especially with the side excursions in the kayak and the catamaran. I've never done an overnight cruise, but I can really see the appeal of doing one there. The food looked delicious as well 😋
It was a really well thought out cruise. People who did the 2 night definitely felt like we got great value because the island visit was superb. Great lil adventure 😊👍
“WE caught one 🦑!” 😂😂 Love it!! Squid fishing alone would make the cruise worth it 😁😁😁. Looked like an awesome time… would you say highly recommended, recommended, or if you happen to be in the area give it a whirl? The water looked decently clear. Did you see any marine life? The fancier the food, the more “I don’t know what this is” moments for me so no idea what that was 😂. Thanks for a solid glimpse into a Ha Long Bay cruise. Have a much better idea what it’s like now. Stay cool and safe travels!! Sapa next?
We just came back to Hanoi from Sapa, didn't realise there was a heat wave! No wonder it's so hot. Sapa had its own climate and it was around 20ish degrees Celsius there 😅 much cooler. I think Ha Long Bay is an amazing setting. The feeling of fulfilling a childhood dream. Plus this type of landscape always been a personal favorite. The formations are uniquely different because the water has eroded into unique shapes. Kong Skull Island was filmed there too. I highly recommend the cruise. Saw some flying fish and quite a few ha long hawks 👌 would've been awesome to see the monkeys but they're incredibly rare
Wow, stunning! You guys are really living the high life enjoying great deals. That cruise looks spectacular 👌 😊. Peter's food appreciation face is always fun anywhere in the world 😊
😅 yeah! This one was a bit of a special treat. Figured it would be better to get a nicer boat to hopefully try and combat any potential motion sickness that Yen might get. I think it took half a day on land before Yen stopped feeling the waves 😂 such a great experience though, it was worth it!
Thanks for sharing both Call me crazy, throw back for me of Doubtful sounds 😂, but with super nice accommodation with a really great view🏞 To top it up, the food on board looks nice presentation vice Even the bus ride to the port, the normal bus compared to your first class bus, were there commentary on route Both Yen and yourself looked like you had a great time 😎 Have a great week yeah
😂 I think it is the business person in me, but I also thought they should have this kind of overnight cruise in NZ. Doubtful sounds would be a great place for it. The food on board was great. We had a great time. First cruise, success 🙌 ✅️ Hope you have a great week ahead too 😊
It sure was orsum! You guys always find new and fantastically different experiences to share with us. And they are so much fun. And Yen, you are a fantastic rower, I see a career there for you 😊
I think both you and Peter are being very kind with your comments on my rowing Colin hahahahaha 😂 I appreciate it but know that what I lack in athletic ability I make up for in sheer optimism 😂😂❤️🤞🏼
Ha Long Bay is on my list & Hoi An too. I never actually knew about the story of Ha Long Bay so thanks for telling us. Good on Peter for trying that snake wine. I will run away first 🤮
We had a short stop from Hanoi to the port where people could use the bathroom, buy some simple food or do some shopping and it was at a place that sold pearls if that's what you mean by pearl factory? But otherwise no we didn't go to one on the cruise. Our ship was called Scarlet Pearl and I think all the cruise ships require a small boat to get to them first too.. that was our water taxi at the start 🙂
😂 we chose it to help with yens motion sickness. I don't think Yen could have lasted two nights on a small junk boat. Though I'm sure it would have been a cool way to experience Ha Long Bay too.
Forgot to ask, now that you’ve been to Ha Long Bay, would you say it’s fair to call Ninh Binh the Ha Long Bay on land? Or is Ha Long Bay much more impressive?
You did a fantastic job picking your yacht! Thanks for the tip about booking the cruise directly with the cruise company. BTW, the amount Yen mentioned, I am guessing that’s for the two of you - not per person, right?
Currently living my best life vicariously through Peter and Yen… 😅
😂 always great having you along 🤙
Peter I love the way you ate that kumara and pay homage to your kiwi roots there and wherever you are travelling in the world. You and yen are my favourite vloggers ever
That's very kind of you 😊❤️ you can take the kiwi out of new Zealand but you can't take the new Zealand out of the kiwi. Is that a saying? Hahaha 😂
We are heading to Vietnam in September and can't wait! This is a fantastic way to get even more excited. The boat looks amazing and so does the food 😊 Great video as ever guys!
Thanks, guys. Hope you have an amazing time here in Vietnam. Feel excited for you even though we're still here now 😂 Vietnam is awesome 🤙
Really enjoy you two
😊❤️
Great Vlog Peter and Yen!! Nice to meet you on this cruise. Thanks for the shout out!
Lovely to meet you both as well. Take care in India 😊
Great job Yen and Peter 🎉
Thank you 😊
Loving the Vietnam series guys! We were in Vietnam too not long agoI think we may have missed each other by a couple of weeks
Hello guys 😊 O yeah certainly looks like it. Hope you both had a great time there and didn't get caught in that heat wave!
Didn't actually know about the heatwave??!! It was pretty hot when we were there especially in Ho Chi Minh City

Magical Halong Bay....love everything about it❤❤❤
It's a wonderful place, we left the blinds open to wake up to the limestone formations. It was really magic ✨️
very good choice of your cruise ship. Luxurious &good food with beautiful sceneries🥰🥰🥰
Even though it was a very nice boat Ching still had a bit of motion sickness 😅
A novel cruise trip with beautiful scenery and tempting food. I will add it to my travel list.
Thank you for sharing,it's very interesting to watch❤😍🥰
😁 I think you will enjoy this cruise it's just the right amount of relaxation and adventure.
Nice to see your adventures at Halong Bay. Fun to watch. Nice cruise, good video guys.

What a nice video! It was amazing to meet you in real life during this cruise, your great energy added light to our trip! Big kiss from us
Likewise Muhayyo and Bastien! 😁 It was lovely to meet you both too 😊💗💗
Nice video! We just went there in January. So many good memories!
Awesome, we heard January is one of the best times to go. But luckily for us it didn't rain 😂
Amazing video. Thank you for sharing. subbed & 👍150

😂 I dunno about this new career for Yen... beautiful form but we really weren't moving very quickly 😂

@@PeterandYen 😂
@@PeterandYen Absolutely Yen, and I love the fun you two were having while doing it. I always enjoy your adventures.
You have a pretty vlog there in Halong Bay, Vietnam. Thanks guys 😎
Thanks Nikki 😁 we had a great time! Hope you've been well 😊✨✨ Have you been to Halong Bay before?
Ha Long Bay is on my list & Hoi An too. I never actually knew about the story of Ha Long Bay so thanks for telling us. Good on Peter for trying that snake wine. I will run away first 🤮
😂 I had the thought that if people drink more of the snake wine eventually the snake 🐍 will emerge again from the alcohol solution 😅
@@PeterandYen no way hahaha
They didn't take you to the Pearl factory?
What was name of the cruise?
My ship was docking outside so took small boat first.
Similar to Guilin

This cruise seems quite “atas” with nice foods.
Previously I went with the junk cruise and it was small.😅

I think that it's a pretty fair statement 👍
You did a fantastic job picking your yacht! Thanks for the tip about booking the cruise directly with the cruise company. BTW, the amount Yen mentioned, I am guessing that’s for the two of you - not per person, right?
Thanks Ray! Yea that was the total price 👍🏼🙂 not per person 👍🏼
Guys, We’d love to see you in Sri Lanka. Such a wonderful place! I bet you’ll get tons of views as well
We'll definitely go there at some point 😊
@@PeterandYen Awesome! You won't regret!
15:39: LOL. Little Buddy. Awww. A.K.A. The Little Engine That Could. jk
😂😂😂 I think I can.. I think I can.. 😆
11.4 I think it was a scallop
I was thinking a radish 😅
It looks like a scallop but did taste like a radish 🤔 mysterious
