It’s a fact , carb’s are hard to beat, the simplicity of it is worth it’s weight in gold, a- msd-6530 box has the ability to control a lot of the functions of a hot-rod , except for adding timing,,
Nice and simple. No expensive control pack. If you wanna save even more money, I'm pretty sure a stock EDIS-8 will work as locked out timing with the sensor clocked.
I ditched the efi in my car because i wanted boost ,injectors intercooler and piping plus tuning was just getting stupid expensive i threw a carburetor on my car tuned the timing in the pcm for freee and that was that if your just starting or want a turbo and your poor the carburetor is allways and option and yes i get decent gas milage when im not on the throttle it all depends on the tune
I always like new and interesting thing and I dont want to hate on your build but this would remove so much of the advantages that a coyote has. I guess it would be ok if you building a Full throttle only race car.
Just have people that don’t understand carburetors go back and watch Bob Gladden videos in pro stock, the carburetor, master, and then tell me that carburetors don’t make power 🤔
This was done on first gen coyote waay back and they proved it lost power over fuel injection. Sooo, that why you shouldn't...proving that just because you can doesnt mean you should.
It does NOT lose power. Go watch ANY of Richard Holdeners videos where he's tests literally EVERYTHING. Where he proves Carbs make more power. Which if you listened to this video he explains is because of charge cooling......
@@ConcussedGamingthe tech of the coyote and vct being able to control all 4 cams within the tune is a big part of what makes the coyote awesome. Perfect drivability even with aftermarket cams and smooth idle. The tech is a big part of the reason to go with a coyote to begin with imo.
I love carbureted...no electronic problems..less electrical more I like it.
101%
man i love this. old school hot rod inspired modernization
yes
People get so so butt hurt when you say " carb makes more power than EFI " 😅

I always wanted to do this. Looks like a cammer.
They do mainly because the charge cooling only upside to efi is cold starts and on the fly tuning that’s it
Carbs do make more power
Too cool, this plus a nx express kit 🔥🔥🔥😈😈
Super cool.
Thanks, I was not even aware there was a Sullivan intake. Just the look I wanted in a for a 67 Mustang.

What what ignition system did you use MSD my 6 or FX just curious what was the easiest way to do that to do the timing in the firing
Take it to NMRA this weekend in BG Kentucky! Finished or not it'll steal the show.
Forrrreal thooo!!! 🫨😭😭😭😂
Too cool . I wonder if it still has the coyote exhaust tone.
That's just cool
I love this! Id name it junkrod and drive it coast to coast
So awesome
Bro this is freaking sick! To make it turbo blow through would be nasty sick
Did you have to degree the cams any for this build
What wiring are you using
brother love what you did there. I'm making an attempt at it myself. wonder if you would help me out.
Hiws the variable system work ?

How much for a 5.0 swap with a gen 1in a foxbody
Why intake is that ?
i want to see more of this car in the future does he have any social media?
Matt McGill on Facebook
Will have more update videos for sure up in here! So turn on post notifications to stay updated
Freaking bad ass

Looks kinda familiar
Wonder what kind of numbers it produces vs EFI nice shit anyway
This is awesome
Are you gonna cut the hood?
Maybe, maybe no hood or maybe a cowl hood
Kinda surprised it has a 750 carb.
5.4 DOHC Sullivan intake ?
Yes
I thought this was fake not gonna lie. If your interested in coyote builds I have one on my channel I just built in my Parents Garage 🚀
That guy in the hat uses alot of fancy words and it makes me feel stupid....I don't like him😒
Such as camshaft, carburetor and crankshaft.
@@Olds_Pwr exactly!🤣 These guys are my friends I'm just giving them hell

It is not always about HP. It can be about doing something different than most others do.
