    Tesla’s take on the SUV is far removed from the boxy, gas-guzzling norm. It looks like a taller version of the Model S, with a sloping roof which gives it the appearance of big hatchback.
    Kids of all ages will be captivated by some of its quirkier features, from it's built-in whoopee cushion to space-sensing gull-wing doors. But there's plenty of sensible stuff too, like the option of five, six or seven seats. Then there’s a 300+ mile range, with the capability of connecting to the Tesla Supercharging network to get fast top-ups when you are out and about.
    But what does our Nicki think of it? Here she explains all in this in-depth video review.

    Regarding the suspension, it is customisable and you can choose the stiffness or put it in auto.
    Also, there is no option to select a specific song, as it is not part of the entertainment package.

      It's presenter fail, the car won't stop if u stand next to it hovering over, that would be super annoying. It detects ceilings and cars and objects next to it. You can test it with another car or a wall etc.

    Still not convinced by those rear doors, but what a great car! Saw a prototype illustration of a slightly larger, more estate-shaped X (XL?), with rear sliding doors...wouldn’t mind seeing that produced, though maybe I couldn’t afford it!

      Because adults in the front have sense re opening doors. My kids are usually in the back and they have less sense opening doors. FWD removes that issue.

      LOL. Neither Australia nor New Zealand (my home base) have Governments that do anything to subsidise EV uptake. EV users currently are exempt from Road User Charges but that's due to be fazed out. In future, reading between the lines, Aus/NZ will get Chinese made Teslas that will be cheaper. ONE DAY, in the distant future. Cheers.

    The model S and X exterior design is quite plain, and as they’re 6 years old now, they’ve aged a lot, considering the bonkers price. No hint at a refresh (or kill off the model X). This is merc S Class money 🤪. Even if Tesla announced a refresh’s today, we wouldn’t see them here for a year or two anyway. I wouldn’t touch a model X new, at the moment.

      @didierpuzenat7280 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Good luck to seat 7 adults in a Polestar 2. To me the Polestar is more in the category of a model 3 LR, and the model 3 LR is quite cheaper than the Polestar 2, has far more range, better performances, etc.

    • @parthkochhar8447
      @parthkochhar8447 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@didierpuzenat7280 @Didier Puzenat If I would buy the Model X, I wouldn't buy the optional 7 Seater Option. No one uses the back seats anyways, they're for children.
      And the Model 3 is not better than the Polestar 2 in anyway. Let's compare the Performance to the Polestar 2, since they're in equal price ranges. The Polestar easily beats out the Model 3 in Reliability, Material and Interior Quality, and design. The Model 3 looks like a fish.
      If we compare the Long Range Model 3, I would still be willing to spend around 10,000 extra on a car that will outperform in majority of ways.
      And if you say something about Autopilot, Autopilot is adaptive cruise control with steering assist. You have to pay 8,000 dollars to get the real experience. And the LR with the Real Experience Autopilot is the same price as a Polestar 2.

    • @parthkochhar8447
      @parthkochhar8447 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Chris Eberle The 3rd Row Seat in the Model X is tight. I've been in one. Unless you're facing backwards towards the rear windshield which eliminates any sort of back view.
      Polestar 2 can be considered a crosssover, but that's the closest thing that Polestar has to offer that Compares to the Model X.

      You remind me of a group of people that wants instant gratification with no work done it just happens. Sprinkle some magic pixie dust and everything works. Am I right? How many years did Porsche talk about their mission E before it finally came out? Have you ever heard of the expression Rome was not built in a day? Tell me what other manufacture is doing this in as far along as Tesla‘s with self driving?
      Do you honestly believe that the Volkswagen group (and all OEMs) would be pushing for electric vehicles if it wasn’t for Tesla? The Model S 2012 has 265 miles range, the 2020 model S has 402 miles range. The new Plaid S will have 520+ miles, but I guess that’s not pushing the boundaries of truth. everybody has an opinion, but you should do a little bit of research before you start spouting it.
