- It's been two years with this beast. Here are some thoughts and opinions after two years. I know that this may seem a little bit biased however I do get into the nitty-gritty about owning a Tesla.
The Tesla Model X is one of the highest tech and quickest SUV's ever built so far. Now only Plaid is above this P100D's Ludicrous mode. This will do 0-60 in 2.7 seconds with a 289 mile range on 22" wheels. It has 3 rows of seats, Model X has boot capacity of 2,487 liters, compared to the 1,500 offered by a traditional big estate car like a Volvo V90. It's completely quiet and can be charged at any of teslas dedicated supercharging stations to charge in 20-30 minutes. MSRP was $150k with EAP and other add ons. @@EvgeniTalks I have to get more acquainted with the features performance versus long range, but I’m leaning towards long range and full self-drive/autopilot to catch up on my reading. And if it sleeps 2 with a compost toilet and shower, I’m giving Tesla access to my bank account.

Where do you get those cushions in between your front seats, and the center consoles. I need that!!! Seems like it blocks things from falling into the seat gaps???
Off of one of these aftermarket websites. They were pretty cheap and they do the job!

I've been planning on getting a Model X Performance for the last few months after I test drove it. The spec I want would be around $125-130k after taxes / fees. Recently I have been going back and forth between that and the Model Y Performance. Love the way the Y looks, and that it would be almost half the price. But I prefer the bigger size of the X, the doors, and the more premium look / feel of having the X over the Y. Also, the X would be a lot faster than the Y!
Just wish they would update the window switches, and the gear / wiper stalks because they are identical to some Mercedes-Benz from around 2010

It looks like your model X has yellow ring issue on the main display. My aunt model X 2018 had the same issue.

It amplifies small noised due to no engine sound. ride quality is okay on the 22's. better on the 20's

What treat?
The whole steering column (with “gear” lever) and window buttons etc are all from Mercedes. Something tells me the air suspension is as well (airmatic). It changes level pretty much identical with how my S-Class does it.

My question is about the whole auto door opening and all that is, are you ever worried about hitting other cars in the parking lot? Ya know when people park like idiots and you have no room, then you walk to your car and your door pops so far open? Or getting out the car, you pulled the lever and the door looked like it opened 75% of the way or more, how do you stop it from hitting a car or whatever’s next the the car? Doesn’t look like you have a handle to grab inside, and if you did does the doors opening mechanism fight you if you were pulling back on it while it’s opening?
Sometimes The door doesn’t sense things and it will actually hit it.

That yellowing around the screen is a testament to how shitty some of the parts are on these cars. If you knew how many defects were kept quiet by Tesla being really generous with “goodwill” warranty replacements, you’d be horrified. Love Tesla, but they need to match the hardware and reliability of their parts with the amazing technology they have developed.
Edit: I got fucked on the rubber door seals around the roof section of the falcon wing doors, which literally melted after owning the car for 3 years. They wanted to charge me $1500 to have them take the doors off and replace the seals.

@@EvgeniTalks On listening again, it sounds like background music. If it is music, it has a distracting annoying repetitive “click”, similar in sound to a pen being pressed.
Today my 2021 is still as badly built as it was the day it was badly designed. The panel gaps are horrid, the service is even worse. How do you spend over 100K in a car and have those issues along with bad service and attitude from the people that work there. The Dania Beach FL store is like a dirty gas station with 2 bathrooms for all, including the mechanics. The disposable towels stacked over the garbage can and all floors dirty and a disgrace. I honestly am having issues with buying this after my Model 3 which was a much better car. This is fruckt up Elon!
